Yeah you need a washer on the inside. Otherwise you will draw the corners of the axle into your bike frame when you tighten the bolt.

The adapter is going to depend on your specific brake setup. I am not that well versed in different types of disk brakes.

Here is a example of a 180mm adapter. It is designed to take IS mounts (holes pointing out sideways) to a post-mount brake caliper (holes going up) so that it fits a 180mm disc rotor.

That looks like the thing you need, but I can't tell exactly from the photograph.

But you mention in another post about a 203mm rotor. So I donno.

from your other question:

>Could I use two disc spacers?

If it works then it works. As long as it fits and the bolts are long enough so they don't strip out then it should be be fine.

I have 700c wheels and they fit well, the brake adapter is my problem. I did find this set and then this one I'm just wondering if it's worth it.

Is it possible to get an adapter for disk break mounts?

Looks like a good build. I would get the throttle even if you don't plan to use it, just because it feels great to cool off by hitting the throttle and letting the breeze flow over you while you take a break.

Consider updating the brakes. Some say a decent and easy upgrade is changing out the pads for Kool Stop Salmon pads. Or you could use a disc brake adapter for bikes with rim brakes.

I would add a cheap suspension seatpost too but maybe that's just me :)

You can use an adapter that mounts on those holes to create a disc brake mount

>I'd also go with clamp-on FD mounting, for similar reasons and others: the FD mount needs little strength so there's no reason to heat the tubing there, and if somewhere down the line you're interested in running a 1X setup or a different FD mount you won't have an extra tab ruining the looks.

This is definitely true. If you want leight-weight steel tubing it's going to be too thin at the braze-on area of the tube for putting on a braze on. Just use a clamp-adapter, like this.

I got one of these cheap and cheerful out-front stem mounts as it was the only one I could find that fitted my 3T stem with really small bolt spacing. It seems decent quality though. Has a wahoo mount on top and a GoPro mount under. You can find GoPro adapters for lots of lights. (They do one for Garmin too). https://www.amazon.co.uk/Best-Tek-Wahoo-Elemnt-Adapter/dp/B07L91GY57

Both A2Z and Therapy Components make conversion kits.
