Hello Beautiful Bombshells!
Dinner last night was super delicious. Pretty good for someone that had no idea what they were making 3 hours before :) I went diving into the meat hole and came up with a package of chicken thighs. I coated the defrosted thighs with some poultry seasoning, TJ's Onion Salt, salt & pepper. I air fried them for 12 minutes on 390°F, turned over and air fried for another 12 minutes on 390°F, turned over one more time and air fried for 5 minutes on 400°F. Absolutely perfect!
I used this recipe for the turnips and then I sautéed some broccolini in olive oil & garlic. For dessert, we had Brownies with Walnuts and a little whipped cream with walnuts on the side. I used this mix I got off Amazon. (Thanks for the recommendation u/Jenn_Lnz!) It's kind of expensive, but if you look at what you would pay out for a keto brownie? Worth it! My hubby really liked them. I kind of like the homemade ones better, but I've always preferred homemade over box mixes. They were super easy to make though and so fast too. I also had 1/4 cup marcona almonds, 1/3 cup Pumpkin Seeds to round out my OMAD.
Tonight, we will be going out to eat with one of our friends, and I leave for Indiana tomorrow morning, so hubby has two leftover chicken thighs all to himself :) I've got so much to do today and hope I can get it all done! If not, I'm not going to stress. I will have about 3 hours tomorrow morning before we leave for the airport and anything I forget, I can always buy there! I'm so excited to see my family!!!!
I hope ya'll have a wonderful weekend and KCKO! I'll try to check in when I can while I'm gone! Much love ladies and welcome to all the ladies who have joined our little home away from home :) XOXOXO
Oh man that diabetic kitchen makes an amazing cinnamon donut. Doesn’t need glaze. These are our favorite brownies also. You should definitely try. They are delicious. Doctor’s CarbRite Diet – Sugar... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000G8399A?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
From Amazon
I use ABV to infuse coconut oil and replace the vegetable oil in the recipe with infused coconut oil 1:1. It works perfectly for Ghirardelli Chocolate Brownie mix. I'm sure you could do the same with any brownie or cake mix that calls for oil.
Whenever I have enough abv i'll make butter and use this low carb brownie mix. I try to make sure the butter is strong so I don't have to eat too many brownies otherwise i'll get a lot of stomach noises.
carb rite sugar free brownie
These were the culprits! https://www.amazon.com/Doctors-CarbRite-Diet-Chocolate-Brownie/dp/B000G8399A/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1478181457&sr=8-1&keywords=low+carb+brownies
Like I said, I've had them before with no issue, but this time was just insane!
1 packet Ghirardelli double chocolate brownie mix
Add eggs, water, oil per recipe.

Smother in vanilla ice cream.
Grow fat(er).
it's a brand name! I think they were great, but my mom (not keto) thought they were horrible haha

If you are looking for low cal brownies you can get Kodiak Brownie mix. https://smile.amazon.com/Kodiak-Cakes-Brownie-Chocolate-18-Ounce/dp/B003EJ3YPM/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1485908639&sr=8-1&keywords=kodiak+brownies
There is also No pudge brownie mix. These are pretty good but pricey. https://smile.amazon.com/No-Pudge-Brownie-Original-13-7-Ounce/dp/B000GZYAN2/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1485908684&sr=8-1&keywords=pudge+brownie+mix
Nah, don't feel bad. For stuff like that I just squeeze it into my macros. May get a bit over in sugar for the day, but easily manageable overall. You don't have to live and die by your diet. Over time I've found there's a lot of healthier junk food options if you look for it. I'll swear by this shit. I learned about it at Wal-Mart.
high five! for quitting smoking! Sorry to hear about the celiac disease.
Bulk Honey Nut Cheerios
Bulk baked beans
Bulk gluten free pancake mix
Gluten free brownie mix
Gluten free corn bread mix
I've tried gluten free baked goods mixes and they're pretty good!
Plus the cd on my list gets you in the ballpark of $100 - just some ideas.
here you go
I got them at Wal-Mart in the baking section below the cupcake and brownie mix. I've seen them at rite-aid as well. But mainly Wal-Mart. Betty Crocker Warm Delights, Hot Fudge Brownie, 3.1-Ounce Bowls (Pack of 8) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000EMK4GO/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_JnoFub0JZB1WS
This is the best deal. Pack of 8 for that price isn't bad. That's less than $3 a piece. At Wal-Mart they are around $5.
Peanut butter brownie mix
gummi bear
This brownie mix is hands down the easiest and best dessert I've had while on keto. You just add eggs and butter. It's best to let them cool before eating them. They taste fudgy and not keto at all. I eat them with Halo Top ice cream and homemade magic shell.
Also, a quick throw together if you have the calories to spare (and want some extra fat): melt kerrygold butter in a ramekin, add 100 cal pack mixed walnuts and almonds, add one packet of splenda, add tbsp of Trader Joe's unsweetened shredded coconut, add Guittard's Extra Dark chocolate chips. Mix, enjoy!

this is one of my favorite keto items i've purchased on amazon. yes, $10 for brownies is steep, but if it's just every once in a while it's not that bad. it's similar to ordering dessert at a restaurant.
i loved to bake pre keto, always 100% from scratch, but on keto i've had much better success with prepackaged mixes like the brownies i linked above.
I eat ground turkey with either sour cream or a little cheese like it's my job.
Edit- I'm on keto (kill me) and just made these. They are fucking amazing https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B016YOCSIC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I've had that mix but didn't enjoy it much. I like this a lot better https://amzn.com/B016YOCSIC but I scale back the butter to make it less like fudge like and add nuts.
I ordered these to try this weekend.
https://www.amazon.com/Good-Dees-Gluten-Brownie-Mix/dp/B01H298206
It's 1 net carb per serving, and if I did the math right (I'd suggest you do it yourself as math is not my best subject), 77 calories per serving once you add the butter and egg. 12 servings per 8x8 pan. So if you played your cards right, you could have a few. The reviews look REALLY promising, so I'm excited. Gonna save it for a weekend treat.

oooh you just reminded me! i used to make mug brownies with this brownie mix and it was super low in points, maybe 3? perhaps OP will find that more useful since she/he can make them one at a time.
i also completely agree that the WW treats are basically a waste of points. they just aren't that good - to me they taste chemical-y.
my go tos are: quesdillas using low carb tortillas. pecans. quest bars (or the kirkland brand). I've been on this diet for so long that sugary things don't appeal to me as much.

Brie and sliced apples (instead of crackers)
Guac (as you've already mentioned) and corn chips (read the package to make sure there's not flour in them though)
As another commenter said, cream cheese filled, bacon-wrapped jalapenos.
A nice cheese platter (with apples instead of crackers), or cheese/meat rolls anchored with toothpicks.
Cheesecake in a mini-muffin tin/mini-cupcake wrapper, with no crust (served with spoons, or small spoons)
Thin, crispy sweet potato fries (just not fried in oil that anything else has been in in case of cross-contamination)
Prosciutto and melon
Gluten free brownies - here is an easy and awesome mix)
Go to Whole Foods or a local organic store and look for [gluten free shortbread cookies] (http://www.amazon.com/Amys-Almond-Shortbread-Cookies-5-4-Ounce/dp/B005A1L5VM/ref=sr_1_2) (they're awesome becuase they usually use rice flour)
These brownies from Amazon may as well be marketed as an industrial laxitive. Never again!
