I think they're really cute, but $60 seems ridiculous for socks.

My SO got me some Sailor Moon socks for Christmas this year, and they were only $10.50 for 6 pairs.

He got them on Amazon.com (here) if anyone's interested. I wear mine everyday.

You could try wearing no-show liner socks. I got a set of these and they're pretty awesome. They even have little gel tabs at the ankle (to prevent slipping, but the cushioning effect is still there).

i got a set of those exact same ones from amazon for 10$ they are definitely not BIFL quality but they were fine for my use. Also not particularly warm either. here ya go.

This is definitely for the more creative and rebellious slytherin student. It toes the line of sticking to the rules, but also shows their house spirit. I have size 12 M feet and they fit me pretty fine. Nice ankle sock to wear with if you have low top shoes (Like Vans or Converse etc.) Makes your feet little cat feet. Haha.

I love shoes! I would wear them with knee-high cat socks for sure.

They're so expensive, but everything I hear is that they're worth it. I don't think I've ever owned socks that cost more than a few dollars a pair. The one Darn Tough pair I have is def my favorite, but these are a close second.

Loafer socks! They sit a little further up on the top of the foot like this. No show socks (for flats) sit lower like this.

An a-line skirt could be good? Something like this and cheap fishnets were my partner's first 2 women's items (bought as a joke gift at least a year before she figured out she was trans, life is interesting). The skirt is still a favorite though. She'll wear it with t-shirts (sometimes unisex she bought before, sometimes mine or new shirts of hers) and no matter what it's cute. Also lipstick is a classic. Knee high socks and wide neck sweaters are super cute and comfy, especially if you live somewhere where it's getting cold now. Good luck!
