AMAZON has the same price and prime...

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0198GV5KK/ref=dp_cerb_2 is a better link.

Take the factory guns rests out of the cabinet, then get some of these things:

https://www.amazon.com/Gun-Storage-Solutions-Rifle-Expansion/dp/B0056GW5EC/

The price of these is kind of ridiculous for what they are so you could also make your own. They are pretty great though, basically doubles the capacity of any safe.

Fairly minimalist and inexpensive amazon

u/Awatovi · 8 pointsr/gundeals

I’m gonna double down here and just say that these aren’t worth the price. The ones on amazon are way cheaper. I have two and they are quality heavy gauge steel and the coating is thick.
Edit: I have this style

$500 isn't a lot for a safe.

I have the 22 gun Stack-On safe, not cabinet, and it seems to work fine. It's heavy, comes with some organization features, but it will not hold 22 total guns.

You can always add third party items to any safe like a handgun hanger for storage or humidity readers.

I have no experience with any other safe so take my opinions lightly.

u/Electric_Amish · 5 pointsr/guns

As others said, ALWAYS get a bigger safe than you need. ALWAYS.

Also, remember that optics take up A LOT of space. Unless you take them off during storage, I've found that they interfere with properly stacking the long guns and really cut down on your available space.

For the shorties, I use these rods.

You need a set of rifle rods. It will clear out so much more space and will make it look more organized.

Hey man, I bought this off amazon and just nailed it into my wall. Pretty happy with the price and how it turned out!

Gun Rack Shotgun Hooks Rifle Hangers Archery Bow Felt Lined Wall Mount Storage (Handmade in the U.S.A.) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B018RHTWO2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_WHyYAb7205RTE

u/ProximusAlpha · 2 pointsr/ar15

Look at a secure rifle rack (like this or this) instead, that you can hide behind a closet wall panel or behind a full length mirror.

u/quigley0 · 2 pointsr/airsoft

Nice! That works great! You could add this to the top for the pistols. Keeps them nice and snug for pretty cheap: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00V72R4R2/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_DiXDCbFFZXMA5

You got a link for that?

I paid a crazy $64 shipped (ugh it still hurts to see that) for the shelf https://www.secureitgunstorage.com/product/4-gun-stock-base-shelf/ then I got this $8 rack from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00W88U6YC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00 I felt like that combination gives me the most flexibility.

Amazon is the best

$10 for a pack of three @ Amazon

u/cosmos7 · 2 pointsr/guns

Trijicon makes a rear sight plate for the RMR. You really should reconsider the milling though as it will make for a much more solid mount, regardless of whether you choose the RMR or something else. That much mass attached via press fit in the sight channel is a bad idea.

Also it looks stupid.

u/polarbeer · 2 pointsr/canadaguns

Nice! I have a Stack-On and ordered one stateside: https://www.amazon.com/RackEm-Pistol-Holster-Anywhere-Handgun/dp/B005A327JE/

Oh lol I was like "I don't have the balls to point a gun where I'm sitting."
I use these

I know its 3d printed but it should do the job

The handgun rack (this one on Amazon) was more out of necessity. I owned two guns when I got the cabinet. Three, I suppose if you count the shotgun. I like it. My Sigs sit nice and straight on it, the two sub-compacts and the 22 lean a bit. Still easy enough to get to. I have to get in stealthily quiet in the mornings so I don't wake my wife when I'm getting ready for work.

The lights are these. I saw someone mention them here or in one of the AR groups on Facebook. Bright, outlet powered, and turn off with any movement once the door is open. They turn off automatically after four minutes.

I have a ½ rack, half triple shelf. Long guns ranging from SBRs to a full size RPR. The best trick I’ve found is a DIY solution.

• Take a 2-3’ long rod (fiberglass driveway markers or something similar that will fit in your bore)

• On one end fit a screw cap, the little rubber bits to protect the threads. This goes into your barrel.

• On the other end, thread on a tee nut with a male Velcro dot on the end.

Insert the rod through the muzzle, and place the butt stock on the safe floor. When it’s where you want it, pull up on the rod and the Velcro will hold the rifle in an upright position with the felt lining in the safe. This works well for all rifles Ive had so far unless you have some mall-ninja glass package that really throws off the center of gravity.

Or you can buy a pre-built Kit like this

I use these in the safe:

HYSKORE 1003625 3 Gun Modular Pistol Rack https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002L9CDXA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_tLaQBb2TSPYBT

Available in 3 and 6 gun models and convertible to whatever size you want with added hardware.

u/pieisgude · 1 pointr/airsoft

Maybe a PTS Unity Tactical - ATOM Slide or the Trijicon RM44 RMR mount which is essentially the same as the UTG one but I would hope fits more snuggly.

u/kato_koch · 1 pointr/guns

Google "locking gun rack"- here's one that came up near the top: https://www.amazon.com/Gun-Locking-Rack-Vertical-Solution/dp/B00K7DKBSQ

u/BoostedV8 · 1 pointr/guns

I made a wooden insert with multiple cuts on it for rifles and covered it in felt. For pistols I bought these hangers:

https://www.amazon.com/Gun-Storage-Solutions-Original-Handgun/dp/B0068NHG7S

They work awesome and have cleared up a ton of space on the inside!

u/vehicularmcs · 1 pointr/homedefense

A cheap Walmart fire safe with one of these in it should do you just fine:

I have one of these on my nightstand. I keep the gun in the center, one in the chamber, mags on one side and a flashlight on the other.

It seems to be the Rush Creek Rustic 2-bow stand. I'm definitely getting one for myself when I have some spare cash.

u/awaythrow810 · 1 pointr/gundeals

Some of these might help

u/lunacite · 1 pointr/guns

Have you tried these rods to try and get more effective use of your space?

u/mashu88 · 1 pointr/Glocks

Trijicon RM44 RMR Pistol Mount for All Glock Models https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004HCCMLW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_3f5yybC18PY6X

Using rifle rods you can probably get 14-16 long guns in here if you have no shelves except the top:

https://www.amazon.com/Gun-Storage-Solutions-Accessory-Organizer/dp/B07BVNPSWJ

You have to improvise a bit in installation of it.

On the top rack I have a hyskore 6 and 3 pistol to hold 9 pistols.
