What toilet seat? Some BioBidet models have slow-closers.
And for all I know, the Brondell may even close automatically. It does seem that sophisticated!
If you are a home-owner, DO NOT use "flushable" wipes, because they aren't as flushable as they would like you to believe. I think I helped buy the plumber a boat getting those things out of my house's pipes a few years ago.
As for the bidet, they don't spray shit-water. The water sprayed is fresh water, not recycled from the bowl. At least the one I installed does. A retractable spray 'wand' extends from the device to begin the process. I was VERY skeptical of it at first (it was my wife's idea) but having witnessed the results, I will definitely always own one.
