I use an audio splitter (example) to route music from my phone/laptop to both a speaker and an Arduino circuit. The code I wrote for the Arduino takes in the music, breaks up the signal into its various frequencies, and assigns a color to the dominant one. For example, I made it so that lower frequencies like bass lines appear blue and higher frequencies like vocals appear more red, and in-between ones are more purple colored. It then propagates that color down the LED strip.

I can use any color I want. I just thought this color scheme would look better for parties. And it ended up matching the overall look and feel of Simulation Theory, so I thought I'd share.

Analyzing the frequencies takes a lot of computing time, so the LEDs aren’t propagating as fast as I'd like. To fix this I'm working on a different algorithm that uses a completely different method.

No Fire TV models support pairing two Bluetooth headphones simultaneously. Here are your options.

Option 1) If your TV has a 3.5mm audio out headphone jack, you can connect a Y splitter to it and then connect two wired headphones to the splitter. This is the best option for audio quality because you won't have any audio sync issues since everything is wired, but it does mean running wires to your couch.

Option 2) If your TV has a 3.5mm audio out headphone jack but you don't want to run wires across your room, then you can connect a Bluetooth transmitter (in TX mode) to your TV's headphone jack and then pair two Bluetooth headphones to the transmitter. This is the best option in the sense that you both won't have any wires tethering you, but you risk audio sync issues and you both might be out of sync a different amount.

Option 3) Pair a Bluetooth receiver in RX mode with the Fire TV, then connect a Y splitter to the receiver, and then connect two wired headphones to the splitter. You won't have wires running from the TV to the couch, but you'll both be tethered with wires to the little receiver box on the couch. You might have audio sync issues, but you'll both be equally out of sync.

I use this method, works great for using Discord and playing Splatoon etc.

Remember to also get a ground loop isolator like this (https://www.prohavit.com/products/hv-x2-ground-loop-isolator/) they are on amazon for like $10 or it will be a bit "static...y"
This works docked or un-docked, he was just describing that you can use the dock for the video, and using the headphone port still works.

The audio levels can be a little weird with no proper mixing, but it works.

What I'm looking for is something like This but the connections are all USB-c, or at least one side USB-c, the other micro and joining to 1 connection.

there are adapters that have your two connectors as input and the one needed on your PC as output (cost roughly 10 bucks I think)

I beta-tested the /u/Biblos_Geek headphone and pretty much I found the same positive results listed by the other reviewers I just read here.

I will mention what I purchased to pair up the 2E1+Vibe to make it work. The headphone to me was free but I purchased these parts to make it work (costs may have changed on Amazon since my purchase).

Class D amp at $22

3.5mm audio splitter $5

3.5mm male to male cable $5

So my costs out of pocket were under $35 (give or take). Set up was fairly simple - no more difficult than wiring up a TV with external speakers. I am profoundly deaf in one ear and somewhat normal hearing in my other working ear. I would be willing to beta_test for this again if asked. So a positive experience over all.

Star eater is a non issue for my optics as well as my seeing. It would only occur if a star would be 1px in size and lands on a green bayer position.

I use the lacerta mgen built in exposure trigger via a snap 3.5mm to sony multiport adapter and set the camera to bulb exposure (which cuts the effective bit depth to 12bit). The A7rII is a fantastic general purpose camera but it doesn‘t shine when it comes to astrophotography. Cs :)

No problem. Windows will treat is as a separate audio device which may be different if you have windows set up to allow sound through your default device and speakers at the same time. You could get a splitter if you need to plug your speakers and headset into the USB device to get sound at the same time.

ok so this is how (most, if not all) motherboard audio cards work.
for most lower end/lower budget oriented boards, there are 3 jacks:sub, audio out and mic in.
higher end boards like my x470 aorus ultra have 5 jacks. i think its audio in, audio out, sub, mic in, and mic out. there is also an optical port. the headphones (from what i can tell) that you are using have one connector. depending on what you plug it into you will get either mic in or audio out. so you would have to get a splitter to use both the mic and audio port. like this one.

Oh, that moved something! I got the Crave to trigger PO, the tempo is working and in sync. Routing from Crave Gate to the PO input, sync mode SY2.

But now it triggers the sequence on my PO, the Crave Sound is not getting through if I connect headphones to the PO output. If I connect headphones to Crave Phones out, I hear the synth and PO is nicely playing in sync but I'm not hearing through the headphones, just on the side.

I tried switching different SY modes on my PO but still not getting the Crave audio.

I connected the "Gate" on Crave to PO input, tried changing the clock options in the "Behringer Synth" software that came with it but didn't budge.

I feel like this routing is almooost there...

I’m currently considering building a gaming PC, and I plan on getting the Massdrop x Sennheiser PC37X headset. However, I’m not sure how long down the road I’ll have my build ready, and I’d like to have the headset for console gaming in the meantime. But, one problem: the Dualshock 4 doesn’t natively support the PC37X, seeing as the headset has a dual cable form. So, I’m thinking of pulling the trigger on the headset now, as I plan on using it down the road anyway, and buying a cheap $5-$10 audio splitter to connect it to my PS4 controller. One question given that context:

I.e. would there be a bottleneck between the splitter and the headset, causing audio quality to be even worse?
