Oh my goodness, all this headphone hate. I wear over-the-ear bluetooth headphones: http://www.amazon.com/Kinivo-BTH220-Bluetooth-Stereo-Headphone/dp/B005LKB0IU
They sound great, lightweight, cheap enough to be of little consequence if lost, fold up into a backpack.

Ride all you want with your headphones in, it's your life man. The number of cyclists who get hit by a car from behind are such a small percentage of overall cyclist/auto collisions, and most of them wouldn't be avoided by hearing the engine slightly sooner. If it's still a concern, get a mirror. I don't know what these people think they are hearing that is keeping them safe.

So, when I first got the Shield, I was dead-set on streaming to Twitch. When I bought it, I got THIS. They're a pair of Bluetooth Headphones with a Mic Built in. Now, they're not the BEST mic, but they will fix a lot of the issues that you are talking about, since they are far away from your tablet. They also have a separate audio level, so you can turn the volume up and down on them. Now, I don't know how well they'll work with Mobcrush, but they got the job done when I was streaming to Twitch that way.

And, if Mobcrush ever gets a Desktop Setup for their service (so you can use OBS/XSplit), the Shield has a Micro HDMI Port on it. This means you can use a Capture Card with your Shield. I actually use that to stream to Twitch now, which gives me a lot of options.

Either way, good luck on getting your stream working and getting these pesky nuisances taken care of!

The S-Pen is something that has to be integrated into the phone design from very early in the process. It requires a separate digitizer (actually made by Wacom, which is just legendary for high-quality digitizers) because it uses a more precise method of locating the pen. Samsung also includes hand-writing recognition software and a pressure-aware API which is first rate.

Oh, and I should add that I have my own bluetooth headphones. They work fantastic for making phone calls or blocking out noise and listening to music.

TL;DR: It doesn't surprise me that another manufacturer leaves out the stylus. It disappoints me when Samsung does it.

These have never let me down in 3 years. They were only about $30 when I bought them, but they last almost a month on a charge. Totally worth every dollar. Bluetooth in the gym is a godsend... Just act quick when your music starts cutting out and you've left your phone at your last exercise, its a nice little reminder system

u/RoosterBoy912 · 3 pointsr/Fitness

I've got the Kinivo BTH220 Bluetooth Stereo Headphones, they work great for me as I don't like in ear headphones. They snugly fit over the ear, I've worn them in the gym and running for 3 hours at a time and they were comfortable the whole time and I've never felt like they were going to fall off. No problems with Bluetooth connectivity either.

The only thing is they are bulky as they stick out a bit from the ears and the Bluetooth blinking light is annoyingly bright if you're using them in a dark space.

I also got GOgroove BlueSense TRM Wireless A2DP Bluetooth Transmitter for machines at the gym that don't have Bluetooth, that way I can watch TV on the elliptical.

u/taybme · 3 pointsr/GoodValue

I have my Kinivo BTH220 everyday for at least two years...

I jog, work in the yard, take them backpacking. For less than $30, they are certainly worth the price.

u/Tree-eeeze · 3 pointsr/Fitness

I got these on a deal for like $20 and at that price point figured what the hell, worth a shot

They last forever between chargings and I never have issues with range or signal quality. For the price I paid I couldn't be happier, considering most bluetooth headphones are at least triple the price. They're not gonna win any fashion accessory awards but get the job done.

u/bunnysoup · 3 pointsr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

Yall sure are lookin' mighty fine today. Must be nice to be that good lookin' with zero effort...

Gift one, I would love these headphones. I am sick and tired of getting tangled in wires while running, and with this new fangled technology no longer does one have to suffer with antiquated cords. Science!

and for gift two.... C'mon...gimme these lovely legal pads to make work more bright and shiny. Or gift card. Or maybe a hug. It's been a hell of a week.

Thank you again for your unending generosity.

I've had good luck with two different types of headphones. I personally despise earbuds. My ears are small, it hurts when I put those things in, and then they never stay put.

I used these for a few years and found them to be rugged and they stayed put I didn't actually put them IN my ear, they kind of just sat over it.

I recently switched to these, you aren't going to win any fashion shows wearing them, but there is no cord and they are VERY comfortable

u/jahemian · 2 pointsr/newzealand

I use a version of these: http://www.amazon.com/Kinivo-BTH220-Bluetooth-Stereo-Headphone/dp/B005LKB0IU not those exactly, I'll link when I get home. They're pretty good.

u/Blacky_McGutter · 2 pointsr/Fitness

Kinivo BTH220

Ive been using them for the last six weeks and Ive been being pretty brutal to them. I charge them every other day for about 30 mins and they are good to go...

u/ThaddeusRock · 2 pointsr/vita

These are dirt cheap and I use them daily:

Kinivo BTH220 Bluetooth Stereo Headphone - Supports Wireless Music Streaming and Hands-Free calling http://www.amazon.com/dp/B005LKB0IU/

Works with my Vita, sound quality is pretty good, and I've got an enormous head and these fit well.

u/linuxpng · 2 pointsr/running

I never can get earbuds to not feel like they are falling out when running. I use these:
http://www.amazon.com/Kinivo-BTH220-Bluetooth-Stereo-Headphone/dp/B005LKB0IU/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1457858693&sr=8-2&keywords=bluetooth+headphones+kinivo

I sweat alot, and have never had one fail. It also has buttons on the unit that make it easy to control volume and forward/back on music.

u/riricide · 2 pointsr/xxfitness

I've been using Kinivo headphones for a few years and I like them. I got them specifically for working out and also because they were fairly cheap, but was pleasantly surprised with the quality and durability. They stay on just fine and have good reception within range.

u/PairOfMonocles2 · 2 pointsr/apple

Honestly it depends on how much you sweat. I swear a lot an broke 3 pairs of Motorola s9's and a pair of Motorola s305's I less than 30 days each s10s are too small for my melon and pop out everytime I look up).

The toughest ones I've ever used so far are these:

Kinivo BTH220 Bluetooth Stereo Headphone - Supports Wireless Music Streaming and Hands-Free calling http://www.amazon.com/dp/B005LKB0IU/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_pABfub01N2KB6

A few different companies sell the same thing. First pair last almost 3 years and I've had the second for a year now. They're a bit bulky which is why I keep trying others.

One of the big things that kills me with bluetooth headsets is that they lose signal depending on body position (I keep my phone in my pocket not on my arm) but I've noticed that the jaybird bluebuds X specifically claims to fix this and work no matter which side of your body your phone is one. They're the next set on my wish list but I keep coming back to the bth220s got now because they keep working.

u/Fresitak · 2 pointsr/xxfitness

Haha I have the same problem. I use this just because I don't need to put then inside my ears.

Cool. I ordered http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005LKB0IU/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00 which is basically the same one it looks like just more padding on the ears. Thanks for your suggestion :D

If we are discussing the same model BTH220, I did not realize the inbuilt mic. exists/works. I'll have to check it out further, but the few times when I picked up a call, the caller could not hear me.

u/fuzzo · 1 pointr/gadgets

kinivo BT220's break the mould. reliable, durable, simple and very dynamic. and inexpensive.

u/kornykory · 1 pointr/gadgets

I bought this Kinivo headset and I was not disappointed. They have a really good sound for $30 and the charge lasts a very long time.

Only bad things are they probably not going to be good for you if you have a big head and when the battery starts dying it lets you know very annoyingly by beeping over your tunes every 10 seconds or so.

Other than that, very satisfied especially for the price.

u/Brimshae · 1 pointr/BuyItForLife

The Kinivo BTH220 is pretty nice if you want the behind-the-head model.

We had a pair at work that had a Car & Driver stamp on it, but that's the same thing there, minus about $24 in cost.

They work really well with my phone, and I found the range, in an open room, to be a good 25 feet or so with no sound loss.

I never did find a max range on them.

u/rbaile28 · 1 pointr/Android

These should come with a warning label.

I've got a big head but never had any problems with headphones at all before these.

u/xilpaxim · 1 pointr/gadgets

It's a cost vs effectiveness thing for me. Most bluetooth headphones cost an arm and a leg. These are $27 and sound great for the price. Considering it completely gets rid of wires, work about 8 hours on a single charge (I own a pair so this is personal experience) and also works as a phone headset so you can also make calls with it on, I would say it definitely is worth its pricetag.

I do get lag sometimes with various video stuff (mostly streaming websites and sometimes youtube, Netflix is very mild lag off and on) I honestly would rather have these than wired headphones for my daily commute.

u/gloomis120 · 1 pointr/Anxiety

The gym is my stress relief and I had the same issue with the typical bad gym music. Im usually in there 5 days a week doing 1 day cardio and 4 days of weights. My current gym setup is Spotify on my phone, and the $20 Kinivo BTH220 bluetooth headphones [https://www.amazon.com/Kinivo-BTH220-Bluetooth-Stereo-Headphone/dp/B005LKB0IU](Amazon link). Ive also tried some MPow wired headphones that have the piece that goes over the ear, but the cord can be a pain, and the cord typically broke after a year.

Theres plenty of people who need good gym headphones, and searching on amazon shows plenty of frugal and good options. Hope that helps.

u/damienbarrett · 1 pointr/applehelp

Bought this inexpensive Kinivo headset back in April and have used it several times a week for watching movies on my iPad while I work out. Not the greatest sound, but for the low price, I'm willing to make the trade-off.

Recharge them via USB about once a week or so. Very easy to pair. A very satisfactory purchase for me.

u/segundo2080 · 1 pointr/Aliexpress

I bought a lot of BT earphones on Ali and I can tell you that the majority will break down on you in less than a year.

For the money, the best BT headphone I got was the kinivo BTH-220 Good battery life and decent sound for about 20 bucks. The only downside is that it is a headphone (behind the ear) but for bicycles this is perfect since it won't fall of your head. Amazon link

For the computer: Logitech Wireless 7.1 Surround Sound Headset

For the gym: Wireless bluetooth headphones

Anywhere else I just use the earbuds that come with the iPhone.

I'm not looking for something great, just a little better than my current headphones. I want something that's just as portable (at a pinch, these can be folded down to fit in most pockets) and has Bluetooth. As a student, I can't really afford anything over £80 ($120).

Budget - £80 ($120) but the cheaper the better to be honest.

Source - I want to be able to wirelessly connect to my phone (anything wired just breaks on me). I know that this limits the sound quality but I find wireless just so much more practical that it's worth it (to me at least).

Requirements for Isolation - I would like some isolation but to be honest, it's not a huge factor (at this budget, I can't afford to be any more fussy).

Preferred Type of Headphone - On ear and very portable, wireless headphones is what I'm looking for.

Past headphones - These are my previous headphones and whilst cheap, I was very pleased with them. I love how portable they are and how easy the Bluetooth functions make it to use. The only issues I have are the sound quality and when I'm talking on the phone (using the built in mic) it's reportedly really quiet.

Preferred Music - I like acoustic guitar based music mostly. Examples: 1, 2, 3, 4.

Location - I'm from the UK.

Any left out information is probably something I'm not too fussy about but the main features I'm looking for are wireless capability, portability and sound quality (at least compared to my current headphones which aren't great).

I've just ordered a pair of these, not sure if that style appeals to you, but they're cheap and get decent reviews.

Pretty sure they're the sort Ogus uses, so I'm assuming they can't be awful or he'd have replaced them by now.

u/Renegade_Redditor · 1 pointr/bodybuilding

Has anyone tried these? Have one guy suggest them to me in the gym and they are relatively inexpensive.

u/rgoertzen · 1 pointr/EDC

I found them at Amazon: Kinivo BTH220
I don't know that they would work very well just sitting on your neck, but you could give it a shot. I just tried it to find out and it's pretty hard to hear. You might be better off getting a small bluetooth speaker.

u/Trent_Boyett · 1 pointr/headphones

if i had the coin, i'd get these: http://www.jaybirdgear.com/bluebuds-x-bluetooth-headphones/

I actually own these: http://www.amazon.com/Kinivo-BTH220-Bluetooth-Stereo-Headphone/dp/B005LKB0IU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1370673625&sr=8-1&keywords=bluetooth+headphones

And they sound pretty great for BT, but i haven't worked out in them...could see them getting pretty sweaty

u/laydownlarry · 1 pointr/Fitness

now you're making me want bluetooth headphones. would really help cause the cord is a pain in the ass every now and again... wonder if these are decent enough.

I'm using those. Double tapping the command button on them seems to activate Cortana. Sound quality seems kind of bad through it and she does have a harder time understanding me than if I was just talking directly at the phone. It's strange because voice calls and music sound just fine.

Just tried it by putting the phone in another room (to make sure she wasn't listening through the phone mic, but through the headset) and was easily able to set a reminder for myself. It works!

I really like these bluetooth headphones. They are comfortable and have good sound and range. The Voice command, and music controls have worked on both my iphone and samsung galaxy s2.

At $30 bucks you'd be hard pressed to find a better value.
