Edit: As someone else mentioned, the Transformer Prime is almost out and it might be exactly what you're looking for. If you don't want to spend $500+ on the Transformer Prime though, I highly suggest looking at the slightly older Transformer TF101.
Actually wasn't familiar with Samsung Media Hub, thanks. VLC, not a legal solution; there's no legal way to have your movies in that format. (Though I see nothing immoral in ripping a DVD, it's a legal grey area)

Which is $50 more than the iPad 2. Nobody is undercutting the iPad on price while maintaining the same features and form factor, and the iPad 3 undercuts everyone. No one has a screen even in the same ballpark, let alone for only $50 more than the Tab.

Thats the tablet I use. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, works wonderful. I play DBZ Legends, Dragalia and Epic7 on it with wonderful framerate.

That's money. Meaning I can connect to a pc to transfer files or to an external hard drive. That's a huge plus for me.
