Best air dryers & blades according to redditors

I agree, drying is also my least favorite part. I strongly advise to not use a water blade. It is guaranteed to put scratches in your paint. I bought one a while ago before learning what damage it could do. Here is a picture of the damaged it caused.

If you have wax or sealant on the car it should be much easier to dry with air. You can buy a leaf blower or a metro master blaster.

Otherwise you could use a cobra guzzler or good quality microfiber with some detailing spray.

All I did was a very thorough wash and detail. It's shiny from the Gtechniq coating that was applied 3.5 years ago. Water still beads as if were just waxed which also makes it a cinch to dry using one of these. I also apply some detailing spray when I'm done at the end to really bring out the shine.

Technically you're blowing exhaust all over your PC if it's a gas leaf blower. That said, I use a less powerful version of this monster that I have for drying my dogs every once in a while to clean up my computer.

This is why many air compressors have a dessicant attachment.

Yes, exactly like that. It will allow the air to cool to room temp, and condense out water in the process.

The tiny inline desiccant dryer you linked will not work for very long (minutes at most), and they're not serviceable. Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/ATD-Tools-7888-5-Stage-Desiccant/dp/B000YOSLE4/ will serve you well, but it's still kind of pricey, and you will still need to replace the desiccant periodically. Sandblasters consume a lot of air, so, you need a dryer that can keep up.

Get something like this instead that also functions as a vacuum so you get double the functionality.

Actually I'm considering dropping 100 on a proper drier. The problem with regular leaf blowers is, they'll blow particles and shit on your baby ruining the paint, or covering it in contaminants that screw with your wax job.

Something like This is ideal. Not only do we have to worry about water marks, but since it's black paint swirls and such show up, this helps since it's touchless and filtered.

I use this Trinova with my spx3000, and it works great. ive used meguiars gold class as well as chemical guys blacklight soaps.

I don't have a leaf blower, so I got a master blaster to dry my car & motorcycle. It has more power than a Grom. Once you use one, you'll never go back to a towel/chamois.
