I am using an electric blanket in my car. Night time temperatures are currently in the upper fifties. The blanket shuts off after 30 or 45 minutes and gets pretty warm. So far it works.
12V electric heated blanket.
Bought mine about three weeks ago and it has saved my butt more than one night. I'm in the New England states, and have seen a few frost advisory and freeze advisory nights lately. Put this under all my other blankets, nearest my body, and plug in to my battery system. Very low power usage.
There are a few models, but this one had best reviews and has a 30 min and 45 min automatic turn off timer, so it doesn't drain my battery, but warms long enough to warm me up and then the heat stays in my pile of blankets (you could put it in a sleeping bag, too).

Thanks for the reply. Like here, how would I determine based on these specs what size battery bank & solar power I need? I'm not versed in the math here.

I have this one. I've had it for two years now and so far so good. It gets nice and warm, but not too hot for warmer days which I like. It's easy to store back in it's case even without folding. We did have to change out the outlets in our car to accommodate it because our car outlets weren't 12-volt, so you might want to check that before buying. But for the money I definitely think it was a good buy!

Bummer! Sounds like living where you do, this EV just won’t cut it -- but if you follow those tips you might be able to make it home with 20% range leftover or so, albeit slightly less comfortably, and that would be fine. Unless you’re moving out of the cold you might get one with a bigger battery if all these tips won’t get you by. Gas cars do one thing well - waste energy as heat, and without that you’ll probably chew through tons of range. If you hate cold so much I’m surprised you live there :)
Maybe try this as well in the meantime and pre warm / wrap yourself in something like this :
