I got a pop up canopy

https://www.amazon.com/Quick-Set-9281-140-Inch-Protection/dp/B00E3LF7FK/

takes like 1 minute to setup and stores in a easy bag under my bed. Increases the livingspace 3x :)

When you don't know what a canopy tent is.

u/II_Confused · 3 pointsr/LARP

How accurate does your tent have to be? Can you cheat on the frame by buying a pop up gazebo and then make a new cover that would fit your LARP's envirment?

Since it's an apartment and you cant really bolt a proper awning to the wall then go with something like the one below. You can find these in all sizes and shapes.

i am planning on ordering this https://www.amazon.com/ZENY-Outdoor-Wedding-Sidewalls-Pavilion/dp/B00ZBJEDUI/ref=sr_1_10?s=lawn-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1536630901&sr=1-10&keywords=party+tent and setting it up outside of my grandmas abandon house. and yes i own a 3m respirator but i still need to order good goggles. i have all winter to think about this because im going to send the paint in spring if everything goes according to plan

u/madisonman2017 · 2 pointsr/HomeImprovement

I highly recommend one of these: https://www.amazon.com/Sunjoy-L-GZ933PST-Cabin-Style-Mosquito-Netting/dp/B01KPJ415K/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1503240968&sr=8-9&keywords=screened+gazebo

I know a few people that have them and they're just... great. Take them down in winter, you can repair or buy new tops easily, etc. A cheap way to get a very nice space. My friend has one where they've set up led lighting/christmas lights and it makes for a cozy spot.

I've had one similar too this for 6 or 8 years and would definitely recommend all metal construction. Prior to this I had a canvas top gazebo which turned to $hit in about 4 years. https://www.amazon.com/ALEKO-GZBHTG01-Gazebo-Shelter-Serving/dp/B078KP9H3W/ref=sr_1_53?hvadid=78477709134688&hvbmt=be&hvdev=c&hvqmt=e&keywords=grill+gazebo+with+metal+roof&qid=1568314733&s=gateway&sr=8-53

Aside from keeping it out of the rain, pellet grills are not a good choice in very humid environments. High humidity will quickly turn pellets into a solid mass that will cause the auger to seize. The only to prevent this is to make sure no pellets remain in the hopper or auger tube. Unless you can keep the pellet grill indoors when not in use or use it every couple of days, it's not a good choice in Seattle or similar climates.

Outdoor tent

A buddy of mine uses this, once the sun drops he uses a couple small lights mounted to the corners.

u/Freonr2 · 2 pointsr/bonnaroo

You got it. I might suggest 10x15 if you don't mind spending a few extra bucks.

I just upgraded to this one for this year:
https://www.amazon.com/American-Phoenix-Portable-Commercial-Shelter/dp/B014EE0SJK/

It seems fairly sturdy. Get a lighter color. I went with white.

If by red you mean ginger or fair skinned. I’ve got this bad boy.

I don’t ever need sunblock anymore

u/Garrenz · 1 pointr/Coachella

I highly suggest if you buy a cheap canopy like this you pick up some Anchor weights for canopies on Amazon. First time Coachella but my friends told me how how crazy the wind got last year and all they did was stake them down.
Bring a bag of sand, buy the anchor weights on Amazon, it has prime shipping, fill them up with sand at Chella and don't worry about the wind destroying your canopy.
Also a side note, try not to go too cheap the frame could literally snap if it gets too windy.

I’ve thought about something like this to set up in appropriate spaces to let cats run around but still be enclosed! What do you think?

u/werkacownt · 1 pointr/Seattle

ahh ok. what about something like this. You think it would survive if I put the legs in concrete-filled buckets?

u/Loetuss · 1 pointr/ElectricForest

Look for a canopy with an iron frame. Heavy as hell, but super strong.
Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Commercial-Canopy-Festival-Instant-Shelter/dp/B01CCOOHSW?th=1

It’s called the Clam. Setup tiles is 45 seconds. Amazing!! Clam Corporation 9281 Quick-Set Escape Shelter, 140 X 140-Inch, Forest Green https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00E3LF7FK/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_c_api_uOpZBbNTHFVSS

GA camping space is supposedly 12'x30' correct?

I really want to get a 10'x20' canopy like this to cover the whole camp, and have the excess of it hang over the car. I'm just concerned that the the 12' width may be shorter in reality, which would then cause issues with myself or neighbors getting in and out of vehicles.

u/philge · 1 pointr/Canning

Maybe if the weather is a problem you can get some kind of a cheap canopy or awning. Looks like you can grab one for under $50 bucks. It would be great for BBQs and such too.
