All I needed to do after converting my battery voltage to 12 volts was wire up a few switches and a blinker relay. Here is the tail light and blinker relay

Get a hardwired alarm instead. Amazon do them for about £20. They're easily worth 100.

EDIT: I got this one last year and it hasn't let me down .

I went with this for the front fender, which really helped to cut down wind pull (and just looks cooler, honestly.)

These are the front turn signals that I traded out, still plenty visible, but not huge like the stock ones.

Add these lights to the front fairing for a whole lot of extra visibility, both at night and for daytime rides too. Easy to wire up, and just takes two holes. Make sure you get the spot beam, not the flood.

I've got this bash plate + crash bar combination on mine now, it's already stood up to one test on a dirt road.

Here's a picture of mine as it stands now. (and a detail shot) Apologies for the garage picture, and dirty bike.

Looks sharp! Did you use the same process for the plastics as you did for the tank?

Also, looks like you're going for a really clean look, you should consider integrated brake light turn signals and flush mount turn signals

I got these for my m365

The stoplight is actually a super cheap generic one that my buddies and I fabricated a bracket for!

First of all, congratulations -- love it in red.

I had an Yamaha MT-125 until very recently, it's a brother bike to yours, so same dimensions basically.
I bought a JDC waterproof cover (not sure if Rain or Ultimate Rain though) -- very decent and sturdy, definitely waterproof and has holes either end to loop a chain/disk lock through.

I got a Givi phone mount, on the more expensive side, but definitely not flimsy, overall quality is what you pay for here. The only somewhat annoying thing to mention is that to get it absolutely waterproof, they include a kind of an additional sheath you have to slide over the holder when it's really pissing it down -- normally it'll probably be water-resistant. But hey ho, should have no issue carrying it around with you.

I used a pretty cheapy alarm from these guys, but on a lower sensitivity setting it does the job really well.

I had to make a bracket out of a piece of metal I got at Lowe's.

They’re just some cheap-o’s from amazon, but they’ve held up pretty well over the last 4 years. https://www.amazon.com/Anodized-Aluminum-Panhead-Mounting-Kawasaki/dp/B00E5VXI5E/ref=mp_s_a_1_16?keywords=low+profile+turn+signals+motorcycle&qid=1566649990&s=gateway&sprefix=low+profile+turn&sr=8-16

The bulbs blew out almost immediately, but I ended up switching everything to LED anyway.

Here's what mine look like:

And here's one showing two wires in the last picture:

So is there something I would have to get to use this?

I've never done this type of work with electronics before, and I can't find any explanations online. Thank you for your help! I appreciate it!

I used the Targa kit on my '05. Looks great, installation was easy (though it did take a decent chunk of time, maybe 4 hours or so). I recommend also picking up two sets of these to make the taillight and license plate LED installation as simple as possible (no wire crimping necessary).

needs smaller rear turn signals to complete the no rear fender look. looks great though! i have these bullet turn signals that are very small, but brighter than they need to be.

Is it possible someone threw in some LED bulbs and then didn’t complete the conversion with the required diode. Pull all the bulbs, if there are any LEDs that’s likely your problem. To complete the conversion, lots of bikes require the indicator ( dash ) light wiring to be snipped and a diode such as this. Kuryakyn 4709 Diode Kit https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000TK7XMY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_uDqMBbZFPJVW1
The reason is that the incandescent dash bulb is back fed from the turn signal bulb, so that you can tell if a turn signal bulb is blow. Because the dash light won’t work. But if LEDs are used there is no backfeed as LEDs are a diode. If there are no LEDs installed check the dash indicator bulb itself.

I bought these for the turn signals. Wired them to be running, turn, and stop lights.

what i listed is just one of a few instances on their website doing the same thing. using "chinesium" as a reason to buy more expensive led lights doesnt hold up. i can understand and even support the idea of using american made parts vs import but in this case neither is american made.

these are even worse, being sold for 8x the price of other places

I think the same spots you did. And I replaced them with these.

> When I set the blinker to left, they all blink. When I set the blinker to right, they all blink. Basically, once i turn the blinkers on any direction they just all blink. At a normal rate. I just ordered a diode kit thinking that might solve the issue? https://www.amazon.com/Kuryakyn-4709-Diode-Kit/dp/B000TK7XMY/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8

u/attacklibrarian · 1 pointr/Dualsport

I've got these on my bike and like them.
I too have been disappointed by the cheaper options but these seem to be a good middle ground between price and quality, in my opinion.

u/Evergreen4Life · 1 pointr/CRF250L

I went with these on the rear when i did the fender eliminator install. I like them. They are smaller and shorter than the stock. They are led and i feel like they are brighter. If you switch to led youll have to replace your blinker relay. I went with the tst led blinker relay, works well even with a mix of led and incandescent blinkers (like i have). I used to bump/hit the stock rear blinkers all the time, its no longer a problem. Enjoy the bike, i love mine ;)

I'm not sure if they will still be 9" apart though, NC doesn't have that regulation.

u/Revantwut · 1 pointr/MotoUK

I bought one of these a few days ago, early days thus far but the missus touched my bike earlier today and she said it was so loud, all the neighbours came out to check wtf was going on.

I use that along side my current chain/disclock/anchor setup.

u/RonaldWeasly · 1 pointr/bikesgonewild

Looks like these - http://www.amazon.com/Bikemaster-Universal-Ultra-Small-Signals/dp/B000VSCDWO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1374627676&sr=8-1&keywords=bikemaster+turn+signals -

They're decent quality - bright - and looks nice and sleek. Sometimes the stems fall apart out and are weak. I've had about 3 pairs.

u/hoyter · 1 pointr/motorcycles

What is the benefit of this over a normal flasher such as this. It seems redundant to have an additional separate brake light.

Regardless, Its always better to be seen. Stay Safe!
