Cliff Builders! Vanilla almond flavor tastes like candy!

u/dmikalova · 9 pointsr/veganfitness

True nutrition and their vegan formula is the cheapest before shipping. You'll need to buy about 10lbs upfront to really get some savings after shipping though. Otherwise, there's plenty of protein products that are in about the same price range but aren't the cheapest thing ever, check out your local health foods store (Nature's Pavillion, Sprout's, Whole Foods, etc) for a selection or search Amazon.

I've tried Garden of Life, Plant Fusion, Vega, and True Nutrition and they were all good, with True Nutrition being the least tastey. Plant Fusion is my personal fave but we all have different preferences. One fun thing I like to do with Plant Fusion it is mix it by hand in milk and it ends up clumping in such a way that the clumps get soaked through and are like marshmallows in chocolate milk :3. Plant Fusion does not clump at all in water. I've also tried rice and hemp protein from Trader Joe's and other brands, and omg they were awful.

For bars, everyone I've ever met loves builder bars. They really are just super tastey chocolate bars. I stick with the mint or peanut butter flavor, although sometimes I'll get smores. Watch out because they sadly just released a line of super-high protein bars with whey. Probar just came out with their protein bar and it's more airy and crunchy and I wasn't a fan of the cookie dough one I tried. Builder Bars are also cheaper and can regularly be gotten for $1.50 in my area and they've available like everywhere including gas stations.

Chia seeds, nutritional yeast, quinoa, chickpeas, greek yogurt, eggs, cottage cheese, and protein bars are my favorite non-meat proteins! I'm not currently vegetarian but I was for over a decade previously and still maintain a fairly light meat diet by American standards.

I'm really picky about my beans but I have found I enjoy them a lot more if they're not overcooked to hell and incorporated into salads/tacos/etc. Maybe try easing into them that way!

I work full time and do school part time too, so I feel your pain! My go to convenience meal is a turkey sandwhich (some turkey sliced at the deli is zero points: certain boars head and applegate farms to name a few). Add some low fat sliced cheese (usually 2 points per slice is a good rate for cheese!) and precooked microwave bacon (2 points for 2-3 slices depending on the brand). I use schmitt 647 bread (2 points per 2 slices) but have used other health focused brands that end up being 3 point/2 slices in a pinch. Bulk it out with lettuce and tomato if that's your thing (I rarely do this because it involves slicing/washing but in theory its better for you). I usually serve with a zero point side of fruit like a sliced apple or a no sugar added diced fruit cup. It's an extremely filling meal I can prepare in under 5 minutes for 6-7 points. If you get tired of food easily you can easily switch out some things (turkey --> deli chicken breast, bread --> low point wraps, bacon --> low point sandwich spread) to feel like you get more variety.

Also in times of desperation I'll eat a pure protein bar which I always have in my bag. Most flavors are 5 points and having one with me all the time helps me fight off the temptation of getting fast food by getting me full enough to make it home where I can have something better for me. Keep up the grind! You can do it!

u/BossManJohnson · 6 pointsr/nfl

Not homemade, but for less than a $1/bar, this is the best I've been able to find online.

u/djn24 · 5 pointsr/vegan

Whey is not vegan (it's a byproduct of dairy cheese production), but there are protein powders that are vegan. Vega one has a great all purpose shake (20 g protein serving) that is like a multivitamin breakfast shake.

http://www.amazon.com/Vega-Nutritional-Shake-French-Vanilla/dp/B00R0Y0V94/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1453441416&sr=8-1&keywords=vega+one

They also have post-workout shakes that have 30 g of protein per serving:

http://www.amazon.com/Vega-Performance-Protein-Powder-Vanilla/dp/B016D9IGRA/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1453441416&sr=8-10&keywords=vega+one

Peanut butter powder can add protein to anything, as well as peanut butter flavoring!

And Cliff Builder bars have 20 g of protein but a ton of sugar:

http://www.amazon.com/CLIF-BUILDERS-Protein-Chocolate-Count/dp/B000GPRZSO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1453441513&sr=8-1&keywords=cliff+builder+bars

I just got a box of these for $9.99 at my local grocery store:

To be fair, I can make similar fat bombs for far less - but hey, can't beat the convenience of having them already made.

u/ketoaviator · 4 pointsr/progresspics

I was on a keto diet for 2 months when I started this. I did not really count calories just carbs. I used a shake called Ketolent and pretty much had 1200 cal worth of that a day (3 scoops mixed in a large yeti thing and sipped on it through the day) and had beef jerky as a snack or These Bars. I am an airline pilot so quick easy food is essential for me as I can't really meal prep for a whole 4 day trip. So if I had to guess my caloric intake was somewhere between 1800-2200 per day.

-I did not work out at all for the first two months really since the effects of being on keto already made me tired.

-After I started seeing results I started to incorporate running back into my routine when I was on overnights and eating some more carbs.

-Now I pretty much count my carbs when I am on a trip and run every day that I fly, and when I am home I eat what I want within reason and make sure I get a workout in.

-I run ~20-25 miles a week now with 2 days of strength training.

Is that one chewy or crunchy? I also literally ate one today, and it was this one: https://www.amazon.com/MET-Rx-Colossal-Super-Cookie-Crunch/dp/B00VQI9ITE?th=1

32 in 410 cals. I've also had this one and hated it: https://www.amazon.com/MET-Rx-Replacement-Chocolate-Cookie-Dough/dp/B00VRALOUM I don't understand the reviewers who say they like the texture - to me it has the texture of starburst candy (think chewy but very hard and sticky on the teeth) and it's not sweet enough to be justifiably called cookie dough - it's got this blandness to it. Basically so far from the chocolate crunch that I can't believe it's from the same company.

The chocolate brownie is also very good. It's chewy, but in a way that's only slightly chewier than a real brownie, not like a giant stale starburst candy like the cookie dough bar. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00X9N1MKW/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1

u/hoosiermama6 · 3 pointsr/veganketo

Late to the party as usual, but I eat the No Cow bars. You can get them on amazon here but I’ve seen them cheaper at Walgreen’s. They are fairly good but more importantly they do the job when I’m on the go. But the cookies are better!

u/Nitram1986 · 3 pointsr/keto

Correct me if I'm wrong, but does this say 25 net carbs when counting sugar alcohols? http://www.amazon.com/Chef-Robert-Irvine-FortiFx-Replacement/dp/B00EUVI78C

u/asterna · 3 pointsr/ketouk

For a start, don't worry about the scales so much, at most weigh yourself once a week. As for stalls/gaining, if you weigh yourself once a week they are a lot less likely to happen provided you try to weigh in on the same day at the same time and after a similar day. It might still happen, which is demoralising, but it's totally normal unless it lasts over a month, in which case you've probably neglected to update your macros.

I'd advise trying to drop carbs to as little as possible for a week or two, just to make sure you are fully adapted. Once you've done that, 20-30g is fine. I normally have mine as https://www.amazon.co.uk/Grenade-Carb-Killa-High-Protein/dp/B00UL4M22Y/ as I also feel chocolate cravings. The caramel and banana ones are lush, and if you subscribe you amazon you can get up to 15% off too. I also get the killa coffee ones but many people don't like them. That takes care of ~40g of protein for my lazy days when I don't want to cook, add in some cheese and a can of tuna and that's a days food I don't have to think about at all.

Once you are used to it, try intermittent fasting too. ie, have all the calories you eat in a day in an hour. Not having to worry about breakfast or lunch makes my day a lot easier.

u/Pinejuice · 3 pointsr/Fitness

Here are some recipes so that you can make your own if you like.

If you are not interested in making your own, my personal recommendation would be Quest Bars

u/velamar · 3 pointsr/vegan

Be on the lookout for Daiya Greek Yogurt. My grocery store starting carrying it.

My girlfriend felt the same way about giving up greek yogurt, eventually she decided she really liked these No Cow Bars for their high protein, low calorie, low carbs, low fat ratios. And tasting pretty good of course.

Breakfast protein shakes with some greens in them are also a good option.

u/Jynxers · 3 pointsr/1200isplenty

I like Quest , B-Up , One , and One Basix

u/Gregg_G · 3 pointsr/orangetheory

I think that a simple search of "BCAA" will give you an idea, though for every article that says they are great, there's one that says that they aren't necessary. Here is one that's pretty balanced. Like you, I sweat like a pig and typically take a 32oz water bottle (along with a pretty big towel). Each serving of this is good for 16oz so it's two scoops in the water bottle using the included scoop. If you look at the nutrition label, you'll notice that its sodium content is off the charts--ie just like having a sports drink. That said, I keep very well hydrated throughout the day and will generally eat a protein bar like RX or one of these from Costco (and get them at Costco if you're a member--much cheaper than Amazon) an hour before I my OTF class starts.

In addition, I almost always start on the floor if a 2G and rower if it's a 3G so that I empty the tank on the treads and not on the floor.

u/brittlucero · 3 pointsr/veganketo

I did vegan keto for 5 months and liked the way it made me feel/look! The only issue for me was going out to eat with people. Since I was trying to stay under 20g of carbs, I couldn't really eat much off of a menu besides vegetables slathered in olive oil or avocado/tofu things. I found two protein bars that are really low carb like Julian Bakery's Pegan Bar (don't bother with any flavors but vanilla cinnamon roll) and the No Cow Bar. Also, these appear to be really new and amazing (1 net carb?!) and I might go back to vegan keto just because these look amazing! Another resource for you: http://meatfreeketo.com/

u/two_insomnias · 3 pointsr/vegetarian

So funny, this exact same thing happened to my mom. Sudden, complete aversion to red meat...

Tempeh is pretty great -- 30g in a cup! Here is a delicious recipe for balsamic maple glazed tempeh... I'm pretty sure I've made it 10 times. A tip: reduce the balsamic vinegar to 1/4 cup and increase the other liquids a little bit to compensate. I found the vinegar taste to be too pronounced in the original recipe.

Seitan is really high in protein, too, and as far as grains, quinoa's where it's at. Also add in some Clif Builder's protein bars (the chocolate mint is so, so extremely tasty) for an extra 20g protein here and there. Good luck!

They run about a dollar a bar. Easy 20 grams.

Or just eat more meat

u/wraithpriest · 3 pointsr/ketouk

If you like Quest bars, you should definitely check out Grenade Carb Killa, £18ish for 12.

They're my absolute favourite low carb bars ever, and I've tried many over the last 3 years.

The Fudge Brownie, Caramel Chaos and Chocolate Mint are my favourites.

Chocolate Mint is top dog though.

u/Scar04c · 2 pointsr/Fitness

I dunno if you can get them in the UK, but the ones I get are Pure Protein shipped from Amazon - by the case they're only about $16 which comes out to less than a dollar per bar. That's the best brand I've found so far as protein content/taste/cost/calories goes.

EDIT: Here's the link, in case you can find it and it's similarly priced.

u/dysblock · 2 pointsr/vegan

These fig bars. The only thing I don’t like is the amount of sugar, but it’s my easiest “oh shoot I forgot breakfast” backup plan.

Also peanut butter toast with banana and cinnamon brown sugar.

u/civildisobedient · 2 pointsr/videos

Fellow hard-gainer here. I have tried the powders but found I absolutely hated everything about it. The taste was awful (no matter what I tried, including expensive options, including mixing with other things, including trying smoothies, etc.) I just hate whey protein. It's disgusting to me.

The other thing I found is, more than the calories, I needed protein. The rule of thumb is 1g of protein for every pound of body weight, every day. If you're 125 lbs, that's 25g of protein 5 times a day. If you eat that as a meal, that's like two chicken breasts or a gigantic steak, five times a day. Expensive as all hell.

So what I ended up doing that I found worked really well was looking for meal replacement bars that concentrated on high protein. Even then it was really hard finding a bar that was palatable, but I wound up loving Builder Bars, specifically the Chocolate Mint Builder Bar. Each one has 20g of protein and 270 calories. You can get them for around $1.50 a bar if you buy them by the box, so as meals go it's dirt cheap.

u/lionvol23 · 2 pointsr/xxfitness

Also not under 1.50, but No Cow Bars get pretty good reviews

u/[deleted] · 2 pointsr/xxfitness

I generally hate to go against a trainer's advice, but the whole avoiding cow's milk thing for sugar sounds ludicrous to me. There is nothing wrong with replacing almond milk for cow milk, as long as you get your daily nutrients, but looking into sugar levels of natural dairy is a bit ridiculous. If you are fine with the replacement (which I wouldn't see why, since almond milk is delicious), then by all means go for it, but I wouldn't worry too much about regular milk. As for energy drinks, if you really want something healthier, go for black coffee and tea. I know black coffee is not everyone's favorite drink, but you could eventually get used to its bitterness.

The meal replacement would only make a difference if you can't make breakfast in the morning or if you (for some reason) can only eat junk food. Otherwise, I find eggs and whole grain bread a lot more satiating than a flavored drink. In terms of what goes in your body, macros are macros. It might be a bit simpler to take a powder drink, but it is much more fulfilling mentally to eat. Again, entirely up to you. It seems that you have a general knowledge in what's healthy and what's not, so you can try to use supercook.com and find ideas for recipes. That website allows you to either search by ingredients or meal.

Protein bars do have a lot of sugar, so I can see why your trainer suggests avoiding that. You can try Quest bars which have a gram of sugar per bar. You can also try to make your own protein bars. Or you can just avoid them all together (what I do).

As for carbs, there is a lot of mixed reviews. I personally don't cut out carbs (and by carbs, I mean healthy carbs like whole wheat) because carbs give you fast energy for lifting and as an asian, rice is a huge staple of my diet. There are diets that go for minimal/zero carbs like keto and paleo, but going down that path depends on who you are and what you have access to.

Creatine is also a very contentious topic. It is hard to see what source is most credible, but generally speaking it doesn't really have negative effects as long as you don't take over 5 grams. From personal experience, I noticed that my recovery is faster and I feel better with Creatine. If you eat a lot of red meat (which I don't), then Creatine is not necessary. It is not a vital thing to take Creatine, so if you are having doubts, then you can choose to not take it. Skepticism for supplements is significantly better than buying/ingesting all the crap a salesman throws at you.

u/kaidomac · 2 pointsr/RawVegan

You can absolutely do it! It doesn't necessarily need to be raw vegan, however, especially as there are a huge variety of cooked & other non-raw vegan protein sources available. So let's start with the baskets:

u/whalewhathavewehere · 2 pointsr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

Congratulations! I think it's incredible that you're taking this step. You really will get to experience a whole new you!

Let's see - I got an offer to interview for a job I really want this week. The interview is next Thursday, wish me luck!

Healthwise, I would love more of these! They're so yummy!

Clif Builder Bars! Taste amazing, no gluten, no dairy, affordable price, available on Amazon. Need I say more?

u/mewfasa · 2 pointsr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

It's a shame you can't have any dairy. :( However, these are delicious. Healthy and tasty. I used to eat them every morning as my snack before lunch.

Surprise me! cheese me please :)

These are well priced, and I found these that are better reviewed, but new. Gonna try them and report back

u/Jayliciously · 2 pointsr/vegan

Personally, I have tried maybe 10+ different brands of vegan bars and 20+ different kinds.

this one is my all-time favorite for taste.

Cliff bars probably taste as good as that one, but majority of the 'certified vegan' protein bars taste like protein powder and very yucky.

u/AngelicBabyGirl · 2 pointsr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

Haha, I went to Colorado and for some reason with all the traveling it made me extremely hungry. Like 24/7 hunger and even though you will be living with granny you might feel bad if you eat her out of house and home. So bring some snacks!

u/_Jon · 1 pointr/keto

I use these Quest Bars and they are great.

u/PrettyBoyMikey · 1 pointr/bodybuilding

I bought a couple packs of these bad boys from someone's recommendation in yesterday's DD. It's 30g of protein per bar, can't go wrong with that.

u/MagonistaRevolt · 1 pointr/nursing

Protein for muscle fatigue, sugar for keeping the brain fed, and water. I use these to tide me over until I get a meal. Occasionally I use them as a breakfast replacer with a banana if I am in a rush to get out the door in the morning. Sometimes I throw one down on my way into the building before I clock in because I know I won't get a break for 8+hours, sometimes I disappear for three minutes to scarf one down. I have a water bottle that I keep at the nurses station to keep hydrated (helps keep bad breath and irritability at bay). I "subscribe" to the protein bars so a box is sent to my house once a month. They get expensive if you just buy 'em from the grocer.

u/bfunk0 · 1 pointr/xxfitness

I really like these vegan protein bars. They have a good macronutrient balance, calorie content, and keep me satiated for a bit. Also, you should check out NautrallyStephanie on instagram. She's vegan and has a vlog series on YouTube plus has a workout/meal plan if you join her online page for about $10/month with a minimum of 3 months (b/c she has a 12 week workout challenge). I think it would be worth it to help you get into the groove and have a bunch of recipes readily available.

u/neuro_neurd · 1 pointr/Fitness

Agree with /u/MacGuffinn -- the problem is not having healthy options nearby. To help, bring snacks with you everywhere. I pretty much never leave the house without a shake, protein bar, or jerky/fruit/nut snack. Keep good food options in your home, office, car, and on your person if necessary. This, for me, is the key to keeping discipline in check. Real food is better than these quick options, so like /u/Realtimes alluded to, planning is key. The grocery store should become your second home. Bringing meals everywhere can become a habit. Good luck.

Ah, I just get them at my local grocery store, but you can get them on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/MET-Rx-Colossal-Super-Cookie-Crunch/dp/B00VQI9ITE

I can't say how this compares calorie for calorie against actual 'weight gainer' products - but, Met-RX Super Cookie Crunch is the best freaking bar I've ever had. Kinda spendy, but I think you're going to be hard pressed to find a supplement option that's not.

20 seconds in the microwave and its like a gooey chocolate brownie.

u/wakawakamoose · 1 pointr/xxketo

First, I would recommend these tasty protein bars. They have two flavors (cookie dough and cookies and cream!) that are net 3 carbs for a bar. I find them to be very filling, and they'd be awesome with a morning coffee.

If you want to do coffee and can handle some fat in the morning I love BPC, and it keeps me full until lunch time.

Everyone seems to have their own take on it, so here's my recipe:

  • 12 oz hot coffee
  • 1/2 Tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 - 2 tsp of coconut oil
  • a few splashes of vanilla extract (the fake stuff)
  • cinnamon to taste
  • 1 - 3 Tbsp heavy whipping cream depending on how much cream you prefer in your coffee. I find more makes it creamier!

I use a cuisinart stick blender (but mine only has 1 speed unlike the one I linked), to blend it all together. The more you blend it and the more heavy whipping cream you have, the more deliciously frothy it gets.

It tastes like baked goods! I've found I need to be careful with how much coconut oil I put in, when I put in too much it gets this weird oily texture that I hate. But with the right amount its awesome.

u/GroovyGrove · 1 pointr/keto

I'd say start adjusting your diet. Even for the ideal Western diet, you're high in carbs. They'd say you need more fruit and veggies, possibly more protein.

If you're worried, limit yourself to 100g carbs for a little while (few weeks). This is still considered a low-carb diet, and it will help you get used to eating other foods. Those should be complex carbs so that they take longer to digest. No white flour or sugar (try a small amount of heavy cream and stevia in coffee - I prefer it to milk anyway). If you do this, you should be adding more nutrients to your diet and feel better. From there, you'll feel more confident about what you'd like to eat to reduce carbs further to make your diet ketogenic. Specific meal suggestions:

  • Breakfast: straight PB is always an option. Or, they make low carb tortillas you could put it on. My favorite are the Mission Carb Balance Wheat Tortillas.
  • Morning Snack: Quest and a few other brands make low carb bars that you could get.
  • Lunch: You're gonna need an entirely new routine here. Depends a lot on where you are for lunch.
  • Afternoon Snack: Jerky, pork rinds, cheese
  • Dinner: Check out r/ketorecipes and pick out some things that sound good to start making.

If you're just doing low-carb, not keto, changing up dinner may be the most important. A nurse advised me when I mentioned low carb to just limit my carb intake to earlier in the day so that while I am active, I burn the carbs off. This might be a good approach for you too.

Note, I don't know specifics of your body or timeframe. Often for PCOS, the diagnosis or recommendation to reduce carbs comes when considering pregnancy. If that's the case, it just adds more considerations. If that's relevant to you, know that there are women who remain keto through all phases of childbirth and resources to help give you information about that (see sidebar, discuss with doctor).

My wife also has PCOS, so I feel for you dealing with this confusing issue of how to handle the condition. Wish you the best whatever you decide to do.

Not always in my bag but probably should be: My Olympus PEN E-PM1... takes really nice photos in my opinion and can be had for under $200... I think not having a pancake lense for it is what keeps me from throwing it in the bag and keeping it there.

Depending on if I'm actually going to be outside for a long period, or far away from home, I'll usually toss some extra socks and even a base layer in there just so I know i'll have dry clothes if I end up getting wet unexpectedly.

Protein shakes, avocados (with Tajin seasoning), roma tomatoes (with lemon juice), bananas, sliced green peppers with peanut butter (great nighttime snack), cucumbers, cheese (Havarti is delicious), Chobani greek yogurt, glazed walnuts, Lara bars, Clif builder bars, FruitChia bars, steak (with corn and squash), chicken breasts and wings, ranch style beans, raspberries, eggs, and bacon.

I think your assumption starts from the wrong angle.

I wanted to try meal replacement shakes, since I was eating very poorly and couldn't stay consistent. I reached out to a few friends, one of which had been doing Herbalife for 4 years. He is extremely fit, and has a number of people in his organization who are fit or became fit. I think my brevity in my initial reply has contributed the most to this miscommunication.

Some people are selling Herbalife, and doing it in an evil way in the process. There has been a few scandal in that regard, and those involved usually get expelled from the company pretty quick. Also, Herbalife recently updated their return policy so that victims can get most or all of their money back. None of the people I have met or worked with follow that kind of procedure, and specifically advise against "toxic volume", or the act of selling to people who don't want it.

I am open to new things, and if you have something better to offer, I am willing to listen. There are a number of products in the Herbalife catalog I buy elsewhere; usually for price, but sometimes for taste/texture, and once in a blue moon for nutrition. You'll have trouble beating convenience though, they ship straight to my house ;)

I'm not gonna make my million growing my business, so in that regard I'm not sold. I signed up as a seller to get the discount, and got 3 promotions based on volume I bought for myself (and have since consumed). I have switched away to other products when it was in my best interest (eg. Vega Protein Powder and Quest Protein Bars ), I don't sell for or represent either of those companies.

And if it really was about dollars spent, then I am seriously owed an Oreo Life Coach :/

The routine I'm doing (Austin Dunham beginner routine) involves doing 3 sets of

pushups

diamond pushups

*wide pushups

All 3 sets of one exercise are finished before moving onto the next one. My question is: how can I progress all three of these pushup types? I usually see diamond pushups recommended as a step up from regular pushups. How can I make each excercise harder while still having it work the part of my body that it already does?

More generally, what is a good resource for finding progressions for any kind of bodyweight excercise? Progressing excercise one aspect of bwf that I think I haven't paid enough attention to, and I want to make sure that from now on, I don't spend too long working on an excercise after I've mastered it.

Random last question: what do you guys think about Clif Builder's Bar from a nutrition standpoint?

I usually pack a tuna or egg salad sandwich with me, sometimes I only eat half at the turn. I am not a fan of cliff bars either and usually opt for these, tasty and provides enough energy for a snack and don't taste like ass.

Another great way is make a protein smoothie, I usually do a bit of milk, protein powder, banana, blueberries, oats, and brink it along in a shaker bottle etc and drink it when I start feeling the hunger set in.

I used to eat these all the time but currently having a hard time finding them.

Every grocery store in my area has stopped carrying them. Was afraid they had been discontinued.

Also tried to buy them from Amazon but the item is currently "under review".

I normally eat a peanut butter pure protein bar https://www.amazon.com/Pure-Protein-Nutritious-Support-Variety/dp/B01126O3OY

and half a gatorade before and the other half after. Water during workout.

These no cow bars are pretty good, and they're vegan! 20g of protein and not too chalky imo. I'm not vegan but whey messes with my stomach so I try to stick to vegan bars and powders :)

u/McLemon · 1 pointr/CrohnsDisease

I like Pure Protein bars. You can get them almost anywhere, and I like the variety of flavors. They're not chalky either-- which I know is a common complaint of protein bars.

Yes, the main thing is to eat very little carbs. 20 at most. Be careful when reading the nutrition though. Did you have a whole bag of that bacon? Because one bag can have multiple servings.

I recommend you buy a 12 packs of questbars. They a freaking delicious and only have 4 carbs. A bit pricey but it's worth it solely because it's the perfect keto snack/meal replacement imo. I suggest buying a variety pack, or you can be a weenie and buy a 12 pack of the same flavor for less

Also you can buy some dark chocolate as long as it's around 70% cacao. These are the ones I buy:

If you buy with subscription it comes out to about $1.75 a bar. Eat one a day for 3 weeks, I promise you will lose 20 pounds. (that's what I'm doing again right now). It'll cost you about $37 for 3 weeks worth, cheap!

(I know people will say this is unhealthy, but fasting for a short period of time is not only safe but can be healthy, just don't do this for more than a month)
