I highly doubt Amazon would actually contract out to a plumber. My guess is that what you get is a general handyman who (hopefully) has some experience installing a faucet. Maybe they send actual plumbers (and charge a lot more) for installing something more challenging. Here's a toilet with $206.49 for expert installation, although I imagine even this they might send a handyman.

Biscuit is more of an off white. Bisque is closer to the color of these tissues.

I obviously don't know you or your SO, but I wanted to let you know that even with minimal disability from my MS, I still find the talk toilets and grab bars absolutely useful. I was actually shocked at how useful they were, because I'm not in any terrible state where you'd think I'd actually need them. Specifically the taller toilet, and the double bar that can be pushed up and out of the way, are super useful.

Awesome - thanks for the input. So is this the best of all worlds then?

There's the Toto Drake II as well. The Ultramax II is a one-piece unit, while the Drake II is a two-piece (separate tank and bowl).

Here's how they both flush. Pretty nifty.

I have a basement that doesn't have any piping roughed in, but I want to install a toilet and full bathroom down there. How much would it cost to rough a toilet and sink into concrete, and then attach it to a cast iron stack?

Would something like this be cheaper, instead of roughing in the pipes into the basement floor?

Toto Drake. Get one. Low water consumption - awesome flushing power. I bought one earlier this year. Haven't been able to clog it once yet, even though I use tons of paper.

I installed a Toto Drake II a year ago, and love it. never close to a clog, flushes quick, albeit a bit loud.

I've honestly never had a problem with crap sticking to it, as many people complain about some Toto low-flow toilets.

I have 2 of those, had them over a year now. Not once has there been a need to flush more than once, and I've never needed to use a plunger on them. I tend to use a lot of TP and this toilet handles it no problem. This thing has flushed stuff my previous Kohler would have clogged up on, and my Kohler was one of their best performing models.

Side note, I paid about $250 a piece for my Toto's, the price for the one I linked has went way up. I think there is a newer model out that is more affordable.

This is the 10" rough-in toilet I recommend.

I just installed a basement bathroom where the sewer is 3 feet above the floor. This drains the tub and sink quickly. It would save digging.
