Absolutely. I'll add a few here:
I've personally used the Tesoro Excalibur and it seems the best for the money; the K70 is also really really nice (just finishing a review of this one now). The others are all solid, apart from the Tt eSports model which I haven't tried (or seen much coverage of).
Here's my review of the Excalibur, by the way.
You should get a mechanical keyboard.

Cherry MX Red or Black switches are considered by most to be the best mechanical switch for gaming. There are a few that have RGB backlighting, but they're expensive:

Ok, you will for sure want MX Blues or MX Greens then. I will post some links to ones that I think you would be interested in.
Ducky One I have this board but in browns and I like it a lot.
Filco
CM Storm Quickfire this one has MX greens which are
clicky but need more force to be pressed.
^Wrong link. Click the green one.
Rosewill This one is more of a budget starter.
Corsair Strafe this is probably one of the more popular brands especially for gamers.
Corsair K70
perfect timing. I need to buy a keyboard for my son, he's into COD and I'm getting him a gaming pc. what do you think of this or a better recommendation around the same money?

just got mine today.
Yea I mentioned this one in the OP, I was thinking the different colored keys might mess with regular typing though no?
> Would something like this be any good? I feel like the different colored "W,S,D,A,1,2,3,4,5" might throw off regular typing, anyone have any experience with that?

I have to say its looks pretty sick and i don't mind the red leds at all of the Corsair K70.
I'll meditate about it. I do want a TKL but its not a big deal.
Thanks buddy!
Nah, it's blue only - I think Amazon said it had only about four left when I went on there. But my build is blue so I had to have it blue if I could help it. Link.
My current peripherals:
Mouse: Logitech G502
Headphones: Sennheiser HD 598. I prefer the open cans, but that's just me. I also only paid $100 for them.
Keyboard: Corsaid K70 Blue Switches. Switch color is completely up to you, but I would definitely go with a mechanical keyboard of some type. The K70 is really a solid choice.
Microphone: Blue Yeti: Blackout. I won't really recommend the microphone at its current price unless sound quality is incredibly important to you. The only reason I got mine was because I got an amazing deal on it.
I don't have any speakers yet. I live in an apartment, so I like to keep things on the quiet side.

That's the one I have. The switches are a bit loud from what I am told but I don't mind them.

> MX blues
Do you actually like the clicky noise? The MX browns feel the same as the blues but are quiet. If that sounds of interest to you I'd highly recommend the Logitech G710.
If you are set on the blues, the K70 is a good choice.
Considering you can get a new one for $120 on Amazon, you're looking at $100 or so for it, even if you used it for like 5 minutes.
One
Two
Edit: or if anyone has a suggestion on a keyboard under about $125, for blue mx switches it would be appreciated.
I got it from Amazon
(http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Mechanical-Keyboard-Backlit-CH-9000076-NA/dp/B00M5DUJQ0/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1419987890&sr=8-3&keywords=k70)
I'm assuming you want full price, since you mentioned the K70
Here are some pretty good deals on solid keyboards:
On NCIXUS
On Amazon
You can also look around for different versions of these products, but they'll cost you a little more. The ones I linked were discounted for those specific key switches.
Succes!

Fair enough. There's also the Corsair K70, it's a little more expensive but it does use red LEDs. https://www.amazon.ca/Corsair-Mechanical-Keyboard-Backlit-CH-9000076-NA/dp/B00M5DUJQ0
What model would you recommend that is not the Lux and still has MX Blue keys? I've looked at these 3 on amazon : 1 2 3
Are they pretty much all the same, or is the new ones out of those 3 better?
Corsair K70 Cherry MX Blue Switches - $129.99
Logitech G430s - $59.99
Ducky probably has the best build quality. If you have a MicroCenter around you, they have some good stock in store! Also, they price match NewEgg and Amazon!
ErgoGeek is selling the Blackbird on Amazon right now with free shipping for $150, so if you don't want to wait (for God knows how long), I'd go with that!
I know you want a TKL, but if you don't mind going with a full size, the Corsair K70 is a decent option!
