Photo backdrop: This tablecloth in Champagne (it’s a more like a light rose gold in my opinion). It’s very pretty and worked great as an actual tablecloth too.

5x7 Sign holders: These

Giant numbers: craft store, painted white

I clipped up the backdrop in my closet and photographed both of my dogs for each number. Each sign holder had two photos (one of each dog)

If I could do it over I’d probably just skip the giant numbers and digitally print them onto the photo. It was hard to lean the numbers against the dogs and keep them still

This fits, if you don't want to spend the money for a professional job.

Fits almost perfectly. Not $200.

It is actually this. I picked it up for $3 from a local comic / collectables store to try it out. The screws don't actually fit flush very well, but I just never got around to finding something else. And it is sitting on one of these so that it is standing up itself. Also got a pack for $2 from the same store.

Fucking hate when people use the wrong goddamn shit. They have fucking landscape versions of those frames, they're just not quite as cheap.

It's a 6pack so if more shit breaks...

Also, if they're breaking at the joint, pick up some plastic epoxy at Home Depot or lowes and glue that shit together.

Are you opposed to printing a sign? Perhaps you could use fancy and/or colored paper to make it pop. Print on 8-1/2" x 11" paper and trim it down to size.

You could use a clear acrylic frame like this and suction cup it to the window.

When it's time to change, print a new sign and recycle the old one.

The way I did it without having to build a stud frame was with sign mount standoffs . This only works if your pegboard is rigid, meaning it's at least 1/4" thick pressed wood or a solid material. Just mount the standoffs into studs, drill holes in the pegboard for the standoff caps and screw them down. With standoffs, the only damage to your walls is a few holes and you have the spacing to insert/remove pegboard hooks. 19x40mm standoffs worked for me.

> Now we just need plastic clips for the top of GM screens so players can see the art while the GM gets hands-free stats.

Thanks for the reply! I do like the foam board idea but I actually just found this set of plastic sheets on amazon, do you think these would be a slightly better idea? (since the plastic is waterproof) https://www.amazon.com/Premium-Replacement-Coroplast-Available-Multiple/dp/B07D3BTWM5

I have done backlit prints before and have a couple hanging in my apartment

you can get backlit frames off amazon

and then just google a backlit printer. I used the follwing

I have used another printer as well and both came out great.

I made a post about it in /r/Analog

A couple posters in stands like this or this set up near your booth would be cool. Even better if you can encroach with them a bit on the walk path, so your booth is visible to people walking along the path, not only those looking to the sides.

Lorell Stylish Poster Frame, 18 x 24 (49213) https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07K6TYK93/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_ulITDbZDJ3B4J

It’s not a conventional frame but I think it looks good and it’s miles cheaper than any others I found

What size poster? I'd try to find a premade sign holder (here's some at 11x17 https://www.amazon.com/MaxGear-Acrylic-Plastic-Vertical-Restaurant/dp/B07H3QDCPK/ref=sr_1_5?keywords=wall+mount+acrylic+sign+holder+11x17&qid=1565916843&s=gateway&sr=8-5 ), attach some molding to make it look like a frame, and voila.

Amazon doesn't have the type I bought anymore, but here's a picture of it: https://smile.amazon.com/Petstages-Easy-Meal-Dish-4-Pack/dp/B01DAWXC4A?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&sa-no-redirect=1

eta: I also use just a regular plate which has a little ridge at the edge for the other cat. Just try and pick something where its whiskers don't get smushed.

Just thinking about how to do it myself. I understand my method is most likely not how this was done but I can see it working still..

  • Buy some of this stuff.
  • Check the size of the image you would like to print.
  • Buy some of these. in whatever size you'd like your image to be, maybe also grab an extra that is larger for a backplate.
  • Buy a set of these to use as a stand for the printed plates.
  • Grab something like this as a stand for the whole deal once done.
  • Open up Photoshop and follow this guide on how to separate the colour channels into their own images.
  • Print each channel to a separate piece of the Graphix film.
  • Cut out your printed image and apply each to their own acrylic square.
  • Take your larger square and drill two holes in it for the plate stands.
  • Take two of the standoffs and put them in backwards. (these are designed to have the long metal tube behind the display, however we want it on the front.
  • Remove two extra front covers (there are 20 standoffs and we only need 2) and then screw them onto the standoffs that we just put in backwards, essentially using the extra covers to dress up the front and cover the exposed bolt holes.
  • Place your colored plates on the backing like in the photo and rest it on the stand purchased earlier
  • In theory this should be complete now. I'm looking into buying the supplies and making one for a family member for christmas and if I do I'll post an update.

On my personal vehicle i clean them with soap and water. Then i use either a powerball or a Cotton buffing pad with Mothers mag polish. Take your time and it will look amazing.

I found a few cheaper options on amazon, similar to what you posted or a little different. :)

u/RUMBLING_TUMMY · 1 pointr/ADHD

I took the idea from this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/ADHD/comments/6i2x18/1_thing_that_helps_keep_me_really_organized/

I bought this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000093IJP/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I'm gonna put it on the wall with command strips and put a weekly calendar in there and then I can write my tasks and check them once they're completed! :)
