Hey Joe, I'm still new here but, welcome!

#4: I've had this one for nearly a year and it has been great: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07KNZC63H/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I also installed these button labels: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07MXYBPYH/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 since most people are confused on how to open the doors. It worked!

Since I find "piano black" surfaces on every car entirely cheap-looking, I covered mine with this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07KN468WN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Finally, I dropped these in the cup holders and storage spaces: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07JLGZKD8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

You'll be very happy with your car, accessories or not.

I put one in my 2019. I got this one:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B078W6KMDF/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_M7bTBb3D8PXXA

It says it’s for a 2018, but it fit perfectly in my 2019. Installation was easy too.

CarBridge is a tweak for jailbroken iPhones. It lets you run nearly any app over CarPlay. It also lets you adjust the number of icons on the CarPlay home screen. I just got it up and running tonight so I’m still playing around with it. I wasn’t able to get PS4 Remote Play working but Splashtop works perfectly so I can access my desktop PC from my car stereo, which is awesome. I'm totally going to Photoshop something using Sync 3 haha. YouTube was my primary reason for installing CarBridge but the Xfinity app and VLC also work great. Looking forward to being able to watch live TV and even recordings from my DVR while I’m stuck in traffic.

A few others I tried are weather radar, iMessages that let you actually see the messages, the camera app, and an OBDII app that communicates with my ELM327 Wi-Fi OBDII reader. Now that I know it works I’m going to choose an app that shows gauges (those all cost money) so I can see stuff like oil pressure, boost, voltage, etc. when I’m running the car hard. Oh, and of course, Apollo for Reddit works as it should.

All the apps perform quickly and the image actually looks pretty crisp and detailed in person. These pics aren't doing it justice (had to use my iPad) but I was really impressed by how sharp it was when I used 720 or 1080 resolution in YouTube. I also highly recommend this glass screen protector to improve the look and feel of the screen. It’s like a night and day difference vs the fingerprint magnet plastic factory touchscreen. Much less glare too.

The one downside I noticed is that Sync 3 doesn't support multi-touch but overall I’m really happy with the results. Well worth the $4.99 for CarBridge. Let me know if you can think of any other apps that would be fun to try.

Nope, glossy. Looks factory. My very detail oriented friend who was inspecting my newer model (he has a '16) only noticed it after I pointed it out.

I don't remember if this was the exact one but I'm sure they all ship from the same manufacturer... Tempered Glass Protector

Really, the only thing I recommend you have on hand at the delivery is the screen protector. I bought this one and have been happy with it.

You probably also want to have some sort of USB storage device for your dashcam/sentry mode. This could be a USB thumbdrive, SSD, Harddrive, or SD card (with adapter). As long as it has a decent amount of memory and a decent read/write speed and is USB. You'll need to format it FAT32 for the car to recognize it.

As for other accessories, most people on here choose to wrap their center consoles. It comes with a piano black finish which looks really nice but scratches and shows fingerprints really easily. I suggest the Kenriko center console wraps. They have tons of colors/finishes from matte black to white, to carbon fiber.

After that it is up to you. There are TONs of products that you can use to modify your Model 3. Personal favorites of mine so far are the extra door seals that keep out dirt and slightly reduce wind noise. The aluminum pedals are a really nice touch if you don't have a performance model. All-weather floor mats are really nice. I have the 3D MaxSpider ones but I've heard really good things about the Tuxmats. The wireless chargers for your phone are a good accessory as well.

Hey! Just picked up my Model 3 this week and I've purchased the following, all of which I highly recommend:

  1. Road Comforts Tesla Model 3 Custom Fit Floor Mats - $79.99 (Premium look, perfect fit, incredible value. So happy with them.)
  2. Carbon Fiber Center Console Wrap - $29.99 (Same company does a matte black one.)
  3. Tempered Glass Screen Protector - $14.98
  4. 15W Wireless Charger - $49.99 (Needed the extra charging power.)
  5. Dead Pedal Cover - $15.99 (Looks so good! It does not have any sort of logo on it, despite the preview image.)
  6. Aluminum Pedals- $16.99 (Difficult to get on, but they stay on and look great.)
  7. Center Console Organizer- $8.99 (Convenient for change, prox cards, and sunglasses.)
  8. Rear Door Sills- $14.99 (Completely unnecessary, but I like them.)

Here's what I got, I used the case, loved it hardcore, bought glass but didn't get a chance to put on, 6x arrived by then.

This guy adds height and width, but it's not the same kind of bulk fenix. Fenix is wide set and metal, to me it hits my wrist bone, 945 doesn't.

Would not be surprised if this and the AO are the same item.

I grabbed the A-Videt brand 2 pack as soon as I was notified of my 945 shipping. Have had one on for exactly a week and no issues so far. In fact it sits ever so slightly higher than the bezel so MAY help prevent some abuse there as well.

Only one review on Amazon.ca, but more on Amazon.com.

u/MoederBeer · 2 pointsr/Garmin

I use this three pack from Amazon, can't even tell it's there, has a nice oleophobic coating and rounded edges. https://www.amazon.com/Compatible-Forerunner-Protector-Tempered-Smartwatch/dp/B07RKM9DJ9

u/12hourstoglory · 2 pointsr/Garmin

FYI, make sure to check the reviews. There is a slight difference in the 945 and 935 glass/bezel size. The 945 is a bit smaller. Many of those tempered glass sellers just repackaged the 935 product and people are having problems with them not adhering properly and falling off because of the size difference. It is why I have not purchased one yet.

I bought this for my 2019 after reading this post. Might help hide the scratches too. They also have a clear version of these.

I think you mean 2019 CR-V? I don't think the 2020 is out yet.

I posted a list here but i'll refresh it a bit for you.

  • Screen Guard rating: Excellent - less than $10

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CVYHZV9/

The flat screen display is so big and flat and shiny I thought a screen protector was a very good idea. I'm afraid that over time dust and grit and cleaning will leave visible scratches on that big screen. I just randomly picked a flat glass cover for < $10 on amazon. Fits perfectly, can't really tell it is on. It is a bit polarized so if you have sunglasses on it makes the screen a little harder to read, but not unreadable.

  • OEM Splash Guards rating: Pretty Good - About $70

I think the default wheel wells look kind of plain so I added on the OEM ones. They are a little small if you are looking for real splash guards but cosmetically I think they look nice. They give the CR-V a bit more of a truck look. Super easy to self install, you just put three screws in on each wheel well.

  • OEM Body Side Moldings rating: Excellent - About $155

These are just color-matched plastic strips you stick on the side of the car. I like the finished look, and it definitely upscales the overall look of the car. Super easy to self-install. It comes with a cardboard template for each section that you tape onto the car, then you just peel off the self-stick adhesive and stick on the panel.

  • OEM Cargo Tray rating: Excellent - About $80

I had this on my last CR-V and I think it's a no-brainer to cover up the carpet in the back. Perfect fit, the plastic seems like it will last a while.

  • OEM Cargo Organizer rating: Good - About $55

This is just a soft-sided box with dividers that straps and clips into the retaining clips in the back. I do find it nice for tossing in groceries and other things that would otherwise roll around. It feels kind of cheap though and I think for the price there's probably some better third party product out there. That said it is stable and fits well, and you can unclip it and fold it flat quickly if you don't need it.

  • Roll-up sunshade (third party) rating: Excellent - About $23

Find it on this page: https://www.handa-accessories.com/crv17.html

This is just a nice fitted sunshade from Handa Accessories. It's got a cut-out for the sensor camera and fits perfectly. Must have in hot climates if you don't want to burn your hands after leaving the car in the sun.

  • OEM All Season Mats Blue Logo rating: meh - About $122

These are thick rubber and they fit well, but the rubber is very slippery so my feet move around, and I don't love the look, especially with my Beige leather interior. In retrospect I think I would have gone for weathertech or some other third party mats in a different color and texture. I ended up throwing these out and I'm still on the carpet ones.

  • OEM Rear Panel Protectors rating: Excellent - About $66

I think the rear panel protectors are a good purchase in order to keep the back of the car nice and tidy. It's a good look and prevents scratches when getting stuff in and out.

  • Third party Door Scuff Plates rating: Excellent - About $28

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BSQDQH5/

You have these on your touring doors but I wanted something similar for my EX-L. Not backlit but looks like factory.

  • Third party Bumper Protector rating: Excellent - About $63

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B079P88CPT/

Nice protector for the bumper. Happens to have a similar hexagon pattern to the scuff plates above, so looks good together.

  • Third party cupholder and console liners rating: Excellent - About $15

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078MRYNXQ/

These are great! Covers for every single surface inside the car. I got black but there are other color options.

I used Handa Accessories for the OEM stuff. I used them with my last CR-V as well and I haven't had any issues. (other than the issue above with the missing panel protector, which they fixed very quickly.) There is also Majestic https://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com . Either Handa or Majestic will be much much cheaper than your local dealer.

u/dawookiemonster · 1 pointr/Garmin

I currently have the 245 but did have the instinct for a week before I returned it. The Instinct definitely is going more durable. However, I’m pretty comfortable with how my 245 has stood up. I’ve bumped and banged it on doors and corners, not very hard, but still enough to make me cringe. So far it’s held up without any marks. I haven’t dropped it yet, but I’d expect it to be just fine dropped from waist to chest high on wood or tile. It might scratch, but I don’t think it would break from an average drop.

I would strongly recommend putting a screen protector on the 245 if you go that route. The screen should be durable on its own, but the protector will just you extra protection. I got my protector from Amazon, and you can’t even tell I have a screen protector on.

Link here in case you might need it.

Edit: it’s late and I messed up the link formatting

Something cheap with good reviews on Amazon.

First protector (which scratched) and what's on the watch now (comes in a two pack): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RX66XL1/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_apa_i_wscZDb3252SWQ

After the first one scratched I ordered a second set of protectors so if I managed to mess up installing the second one of have another backup to install. I bought these the second time as they state hardness in the description, so maybe they'd be more scratch resistant? I haven't installed these yet, so I don't know if they're good: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07T1SKKTB/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_apap_GQL1KriZ8M6vJ

Already cut to fit, and it's tempered glass. I don't have an issue with glare, but YMMV.

u/shinsmax12 · 1 pointr/CX5

I don't know about your screen, but I bought this for my car as a protective measure. It's a little too reflective sometimes, but a lot easier to clean, and no issues with touch screen functionality.
