For anyone that’s lazy like me there’s this jewelry organizer on amazon that’s practically identical to op’s

  1. I picked mine with my partner! I wanted a vintage ring or something that we could make sure wasn't made by a company that supported sketchy practices. Something unique, but not flashy, and closer to the dainty side. Preferably a gold band.
  2. We picked it out together! We originally planned on me just showing him what general styles I liked, but then stumbled across the perfect ring as we were scrolling through the website together (Brilliant Earth).
  3. I was trying to find diamond shapes that I liked, but honestly every diamond ring picture I saw looked boring to me. I certainly didn't want a real diamond, and the fact that most traditional rings were boring me led us to look at alternate stones. My ring has a black star sapphire.
  4. I tried to think about timelessness with my ring. I wanted it to suit my personality throughout my life and fit in with my closet/lifestyle consistently.
  5. We didn't think about specifics with our budget, just had one for the entire ring since I was mostly interested in vintage rings. I wanted it to be less than $500, because even that much was ridiculous to me, considering my mom's ring was $100. My partner wanted to spend much more, he believed in some rule that the ring should be at least three months of his salary total. We compromised and set the limit at $1500. The ring cost about $1200.
  6. I understand the upgrading trend and don't have any issues with it. However, I don't think I'll be able to do it myself. When I receive items that have sentimental value with them, I struggle to replace them mentally. Even if I kept this ring and put it on display, I don't think I could love any ring enough to put it on my ring finger instead of it.
  7. Our bands probably won't match each others very well. My partner is considering having a stone as well, but not the same as mine. The styles he's drawn to are much more different than my ring and what my band will be. My wedding band will probably have to be custom due to the shape of my engagement ring, but I have some ideas in mind.

I wear my ring every day! If I'm working with my hands and getting down and dirty, I take it off and put it on my ring holder. If my ring is not on my hand, it's on the ring holder. If I'm out and about and have to remove it, I have a simple chain necklace that I keep in my bag that I put the ring on.

My ring! My hands are NOT photogenic. No idea why, the ring fits perfectly and never looks as tight as it looks in the photo.

I got one of those hanging storage things for my dorm and it worked like a charm! Since we had zero space this was the perfect solution- my roommate loved it so much she ended up getting one too! haha

I think this is the one! Or very close

I have one of these hanging organizers in my closet:

https://www.amazon.com/Closet-Complete-Hanging-Jewelry-Organizer/dp/B00A2C0LQE/ref=pd_sim_201_5?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B00A2C0LQE&pd_rd_r=PK46SN59DEXYGPPA7FB8&pd_rd_w=DnkKX&pd_rd_wg=ADGtU&psc=1&refRID=PK46SN59DEXYGPPA7FB8

It's double sided so there's plenty of room for all my jewelry and I can always easily find what I'm looking for since the pockets are clear. You can also put a hook up and hang it anywhere if you don't have space in your closet.

u/Onewhohopes · 5 pointsr/konmari

Shoe box? I couldn't resist, for the moment that is where my jewelry resides. But I would do an image search and look at storage options that will suit your needs. Maybe search by each item you want to store or display. I like the open wall storage that lets you hang necklaces and the like, sometimes people use bars to store bangles.

I don't use one myself (yet) but a hanging jewelry organizer would be great for this, particularly if you're mostly dealing with small sized products.

Here's an example of what I mean.

u/peanutmonkey · 3 pointsr/RedditLaqueristas

I have http://www.amazon.com/Household-Essentials-80-Pocket-Jewelry-Organizer/dp/B0000CNQZD because I have no room for lovely racks. I only have about 80 bottles of polish, but its working pretty well.

u/Iophobic · 3 pointsr/femalefashionadvice

I use a clear jewelry box/drawer/??? thing. I own a lot of stud earrings and the setup makes it easy for me to look down into the drawer and choose a pair

I also use a bowl for my rings and just dip my hand in and hope for the best, not the best method ^but ^I ^can't ^stop

u/sarah_awesome · 3 pointsr/konmari

I bought 2 of these hanging jewelry organizers for my jewelry. I love it because I can see everything!

u/macramelampshade · 3 pointsr/femalefashionadvice

I’m a sunglasses addict so I ordered a 10 pair plastic stand from eBay and then promptly filled it up 😬
I had this jewelry holder https://www.amazon.com/Beaverve-Organizer-Necklace-Earrings-Bracelet/dp/B07HCBT6L5/ref=mp_s_a_1_9?keywords=jewelry+organizer&qid=1562966368&s=gateway&sprefix=jewe&sr=8-9
and realized if I put D-rings on the Velcro loops on the necklace side I could hang sunglasses from them. It’s perfect and hangs in my closet so it’s not wasting room for the pairs I don’t wear as much.

u/FlamingoInASnowstorm · 3 pointsr/konmari

Not ideal for your necklaces, but I use a hanging organizer with pockets (link)

u/75footubi · 3 pointsr/femalefashionadvice

I got this though I swear I only paid $40 or so. Don't know why it's so expensive.

Edit: found the actual one

Im thinking various sized pencil cases (hard or soft) for a lot of one thing and a label.
This beauty organizer might be of good use:
Roll-Up Organizer https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00C9CCLPE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_IPhACb0E8RNZG
Jewelry: Alezywels Hanging Jewelry Organizer Bag (56-Pockets) Dual-Sided, Thick Oxford Fabric, Zippered Storage, Clear PVC Plastic Windows, Roll-Up, Portable Travel, Rings, Earrings, Necklaces (Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07JBX7YNB/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_2ShACb6SP6QXD
But you can find similar things specifically for tools as well like this: 32 Pocket Tool Roll Organizer - Wrench Organizer & Tool Pouch - Wrench Roll Includes Pouches for 10 Sockets - Roll Up Tool Bag for Electrician, HVAC, Plumber, Carpenter or Mechanic - From Rugged Tool https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07F232C3X/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_WRhACb888AQQ5

There's a lot of different 'roll up organizer' things, typically labeled for different purposes like beauty, arts and crafts, tools, jewelry. If one that's labeled to be used for jewerly but it looks like it will work best for you then i say try it out. In my experience (but i don't have nearly as many tools nor as much experience), if it's labeled for tools it probably has too many pockets and hiding places. I'll put something in a pocket perfectly meant for this one specific thing but then spend 10 minutes looking in every pocket trying to find it. Which is why oddly enough a beauty, travel, or jewelry organizer works better for me since the pockets tend to be clear so i can see where everything is.

OK - I had another idea. What about a bed-wetting accident?

As for my <$20 item, how about either this hanging jewelry organizer or this hanging spice rack organizer?

For my <$5 item, I have some single MP3s on my Music WL that would be awesome!

Cheesecake all day everyday

I LOVE all deserts and it would be really hard to pick just one. But if I had to, I would say vanilla bean cheesecake.

Happy cake day to you!!

u/kllaya · 2 pointsr/HelpMeFind

You might want to go with a hanging rack, like this

If you want something to lay flat, there is this box with hooks on one side.

Snow, snow, go away!

You are the prettiest person who is allergic to apples. Hands down.
Thank you for the contest! :) <3

I hope you cheer up soon. I'm not dressing up for halloween, but if I were, I'd probably go as a princess. :P spooky scary

u/vera214usc · 2 pointsr/weddingplanning

I bought an elephant ring holder after we got engaged to hold my ring, but I had to keep moving it from room to room. For Christmas, my fiance got me two more, the cat and the bunny from that set, and his mom got me a ring dish. Now I have to look for places I need to take my ring off just so I can use all four!

u/NalgeneAdventure · 2 pointsr/weddingplanning

This is what I do too. I have this cute little ring holder that works great!

u/emmny · 2 pointsr/weddingplanning

I keep this white mini bowl from Target in our bedroom (it's hard to see but it has a pretty lace pattern), and an elephant ring holder in the bathroom. I just need to find a cute one for the kitchen now.

Home is where the heart is

So since you already live in a house/duplex, these might be really self-explanatory for you, but they definitely weren't for me, so I'll throw them out there.

  1. Buy a plunger. You're going to want one before you need one. (In my experience with renting, it's almost always been something that was already in the house when I moved in, until my current house, and we didn't have one. This is...unfortunate.) So, there's that.

  2. You can never have enough little garbage bins. The tiny ones that you can just tuck into a corner? They're awesome. Seriously. In my experience, I've had people come over and just leave trash on the coffee table, on the deck, wherever. I bought several cheap small garbage cans from Walmart, and suddenly people can throw stuff away, as opposed to being too lazy to walk to the large bin in the kitchen.

  3. Bathroom organizers are a lifesaver. An over-the-toilet one can be great for towels if you don't have a linen closet, and it's not taking up useful space, since there was a toilet there anyway. A rack like this would be great for holding your palettes. Plus, it makes them all visible! I have one of these hanging in my bathroom and it's great to hold my makeup items.

I got this and very happy with it: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01ETN7H5Y/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I do have around 15 watches so it works well.

u/RabbitFuzz · 1 pointr/MakeupAddiction

I have one of these I hang off a shelving rack to organize my lipsticks. I got one at Ross, but I'm sure you can find one almost anywhere like this. I like the clear pockets. http://www.amazon.com/Closet-Complete-Hanging-Jewelry-Organizer/dp/B00A2C0LQE/ref=zg_bs_3744511_2

u/charrisxxx · 1 pointr/MakeupAddiction

I would suggest something like this :

http://img.diytrade.com/cdimg/1731086/24885305/0/1k330674234/Large_Acrylic_Lipstick_Holder.jpg
http://www.emilydenisephotography.com/photos/IMG_3405ab.jpg

But with so many lipsticks I don't know if it's very plausible. You would need a lot of these cases, resulting in quite a bit of money. The second link would seem cheaper and maybe more customisable so you could fit more lipsticks in less space. Or as someone has already commented, something like this :

this is for the first one because it is wine colored! :p

this is for the 2nd riddle.... this might be pushing it.. haha but a broom keeps your house clean which keeps you healthy. this item will keep me healthy so it's like the broom! hahah

this is a hat and it has ears! :D

this is so I will be able to see my kindle in the dark!

A trunk can hold objects and such and this can hold all of my jewelry so that is how they are similar! :)

this is like a cape.... but for your legs! hahah

thank you!

Here is mine!

The acrylic organizers are from HauteLook, the velcro hanging bag from Mary Kay, then small-pocketed organizer from Amazon, and the mug is courtesy of a Rachael Ray promotion at my local grocery store :P

It's definitely not the tidiest, but that is how I StoreIt!

u/daisyismydog · 1 pointr/RandomActsofMakeup

What about something like this hanging organizer to hold some of the smaller things?

u/Troodi44 · 1 pointr/Etsy

This is what I'd recommend, (I use two of them for my bead supplies):

Closet Complete CANVAS Ultra 80 Pocket Hanging Jewelry Organizer
https://www.amazon.com/Closet-Complete-Hanging-Jewelry-Organizer/dp/B00A2C0LQE/ref=lp_3744511_1_3/184-4077796-9929145?s=storageorganization&ie=UTF8&qid=1467086310&sr=1-3

These are the canvas version; they can also be found in plastic versions which have short life spans, crack, break and aren't as nice as these.

u/glaceauglaceau · 1 pointr/femalefashionadvice

I use these hanging jewelry organizers for the majority of it. I also have a couple earring stands and bracelet stands, and jewelry boxes.

I really need to cull my collection, it's mostly junk I acquired over the years from cheapo stores.

u/bluewasabi · 1 pointr/AskWomen

What can't you get her that's under $50?!

u/AuntChiladas · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

Hello! So I just went through a massive overhaul and cleaning of my house and this has saved my life. It's really great :)

u/frenchmartini · 1 pointr/MakeupAddiction

I second the over-the-door shoe hanger, but also suggest looking at the jewelry ones too with smaller pockets. My battlestation is in one of our guest rooms and is just a drawer in a dresser. I have a few different sized baskets like these and organize my makeup in those. When I'm putting my makeup on I just take the baskets out of the drawer. I have a ghetto folding chair I sit on and a lighted mirror that stays on top of the dresser.
