They make flexible moulding that is made specifically for these situations. It's a composite material, not real wood. Example: https://www.amazon.com/Flexible-Moulding-Quarter-Round-Straight/dp/B006R99T0U

Nope, bought them on Amazon! Ekena Millwork COL05X05X35LERW 5-Inch W x 5-Inch D x 35 1/2-Inch H Legacy Tapered Cabinet Column, Rubberwood https://www.amazon.com/dp/B006ZM1EU2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_a5xBDb6QTVZ4P

Assuming you can't cut/drill any joists, I like the idea of creating some faux beams to house everything. You could do a grid pattern, like this or this or this and move the water lines to run with the pvc.

Just make sure the grid is even. It doesn't need to be squares, it can be one rectangle (shown in the last example).

Amazon Flex Molding 3/4"

Just a link in case you're interested. I know its overwhelming and extremely tiring. I'm a contractor, but I've decided to gut and redo my bathroom by myself and it's killing me.

Looks great! I did this with my E39's style 42's a couple years ago. The process is pretty straightforward if you want to fix curb rash like I did. Pretty much just involves sanding the lip down, putting some bondo over the problem areas, sanding that down, then spraying it again (primer, silver paint, clear coat). I can answer questions you guys may have too, I'm pretty happy with how mine came out

EDIT (supplies I used):

Nice kit that comes with rags and the sprays you need

Bondo

Scotch Painters' Tape

I cut out a circular piece of cardboard to put over the inset part of the wheel (everything but the lip) and then I taped off everything but the very outer lip that was scuffed. I can't find the original DIY that I used but this is the process as I remember it (minus sandpaper details because I don't remember the exact grit), I'm sure if you googled around you could find something more detailed and with pictures.

I have the p400, same airflow issues, I should do this too.

I've been leaving the bottom slightly cracked sometimes. But since I added an extra intake and outtake to the top temps have been alright

Edit: https://www.amazon.com/Edge-Trim-Black-Small-Length/dp/B00KG9BAY0

If you want to make it look more clean add this

Here’s what I bought. Unfortunately, I could only find it in a bulk of 5.

Certainly...

These were the curved/corner pieces:

Ekena Millwork PML10X10OX-2-CASE-12 10 inch W x 10 inch H x 5/8 inch P Oxford Panel Moulding Corner (12-Pack)

And the matching straight pieces:

Ekena Millwork PML02X00OX-CASE-12 2 inch H x 5/8 inch P x 94 1/2 inch L Oxford Panel Moulding (12-Pack)

(Obviously I have a lot of the straight pieces left over, which I’m using for other projects)

All you need to do is get some of the edge molding (Something like this) and it will clean that edge up. Just make sure you cut the edging corners properly

After you replace the tile you can use flexible quarter round instead of qualk.(https://www.amazon.com/Flexible-Moulding-Quarter-Round-Straight/dp/B006R99T0U)

Really nice job btw on the reno! I never thought a metal railing could look so good. And great color choices. I have a similar banister but I went for a quick fix and just painted (https://imgur.com/0SfqgNN).

Now that I'm almost getting to a point where the house is almost "done" maybe I'll have to revisit. Good luck with the rest!

they sell flexible moulding...

https://www.amazon.com/Flexible-Moulding-Base-WM126-Length/dp/B006R98WTO

I suspect it would work no problem for the 45 degree corner. the 90 degree... well... that listing say 6" minimum radius, maybe you can find a better brand, but you can try either way. You could also cut a chunk of wood for the corner and sand the profile yourself.

And yes... I want to find the original owners of my house and punch them in the face because they installed tile and wood without removing and replacing the baseboards so I have <2" of exposed molding. Looks stupid. Im slowly tearing it out and doing it right, but its such a waste of time when it would have been trivial to do right to begin with.

I use something like this but picked up from Home Depot: https://www.amazon.com/ProTapes-Pro-Release-Painters-Masking/dp/B017RHUOOU/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1467134651&sr=8-4&keywords=blue+painters+tape

I initially bought this one but it turns out the tape has orange letter prints and PLA wouldn't stick to it. https://www.amazon.com/ScotchBlue-Painters-Advanced-Multi-Surface-94-Inch/dp/B004CZPL4E/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1467134651&sr=8-3&keywords=blue+painters+tape

You HAVE to rub the surface of the tape with isopropyl alcohol or PLA will not stick. After wiping it and setting the first layer speed to 35% and first layer height down to 80% of the layer height, it sticks every single time.

Dude... get a shelf, please!

u/20pennySpike · 1 pointr/HomeImprovement

Look for a "4 in 1" transition. Something like this.

u/PokeDaLady · 1 pointr/Hue

Maybe some crown molding with a gap from the ceiling. You apply thr light strip to the top of the molding.

64 Ft of 3.5" Angelo Foam Crown Molding room kit W/precut corners on end of lengths 4 inside & 1 out (AVAILABLE IN 5 OTHER STYLES AND QUANTITIES-SEE OUR OTHER LISTINGS) Sold By Austin Crown Molding https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00OYJOIK6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_RlQSBbSWTGCH8

The second picture on the listing gives a nice preview of how it could look

u/virgilturtle · 1 pointr/HomeRepair

Top seller on Amazon has really bad reviews. Magic brand peel and stick also has 1 star reviews.

The major issues are the gap between the two and also the curvature of the tub base. Whatever goes between will need to be highly flexible and also fill the gap. I'd really appreciate any thoughts here! Thank you!

This looks like it could work pretty well for what you're talking about.

u/hartk1213 · 1 pointr/TeardropTrailers

here is a pic of the moulding it's a bendable rubber style that's paintable that I attached with an air nailer and its been awesome and looks great imo

Here is the Amazon link

u/fixafone123 · 1 pointr/Cornhole

Agreed. Gel Stain is the way to go. I like the EdgeLock Tape by 3M. It sticks well and does a great job of preventing bleed over. It's not cheap but I've tried the cheap stuff several times with less than stellar results.
