[EDIT] aerowick caught the right make and colour. These are the ones Ming is wearing, f.lux's yellow tint fooled me groan
This is light aqua,
my eyes were looking for you so i found you
The Common Projects Achilles Low and its alternatives are good options.
My personal favorite is the adidas Stan Smith. It usually comes in green or navy on the heel tab, but if you are looking for all white you can find the triple white version on Amazon or END. You could customize it to all white on adidas mi but it's much more expensive so there's really no point.
One word: fashion. Different field of fashion, but open up any GQ mag and you'll see ordinary leather combat boots that are $700+. Street fashion is no different. Here is a pair of Adidas Yeezy 350s in my size for $1,700: They're not made any better than any other casual shoe, but they are in demand for their exclusivity.
What it boils down to is simple economics: if the demand is high, so is the price. So when a product or company in the fashion industry convinces the target audience that the item in question is cool, exclusive, or ahead of the curve, it raises the interest and subsequent demand. Supreme has done this by making inroads with the social media modeling scene, street scene, and underground fashion scene. They target city and metro-area people aged ~18-30~ who are likely more receptive to streetwear than to high fashion offerings from a Gucci or Burberry.

Grand Total = $188, with room left for shipping. (I didn't include the H&M 20% off code so this could be a bit cheaper)
Edit: Also, thrifting and a tailor/sewing machine is a great alternative to the jeans. You can make this $20 cheaper by thrifting a pair of jeans and bringing them to a tailor ($8+) or having your moms taper it (priceless). With that $20, another good piece would probably be a layering piece like a camo jacket.
They are just random vans shoes that happen to be red. For some reason a lot of people have been posting pictures of red shoes that look nothing like the boots that deku wears. He wears red boots not sneakers. The tread and the ridge around the toe are what make them boots. Someone bought and posted these and said they looked like his boots and others want them as well. Makes no sense.

Best price I could find is on Amazon. They are Steve Madden Evrclear [sic]. http://www.amazon.com/Steve-Madden-Mens-Evrclear-Lace-Up/dp/B004NTF0QS
The shoes? I bought these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B016TN50W4/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_5?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A1VIAKTRWA0JUI
As far as the white bandage you can get gauze or a white ace wrap.
Not sure what Fefemz uses but happyf33ts uses Fitkicks.. I have a pair but they are really slippery (more-so than socks) so that's something to consider. They are only about $20 so relatively cheap if you want to try them.
You could try Keds - like these ones http://www.amazon.com/Keds-Champion-Original-Canvas-Sneaker/dp/B002YD951G/ if I understand your request
> lol, these kinds of child-labor/child-prostitution apologetics are kinda funny in juxtaposition to how much hand-wringing is done over great leaps forward and collectivization/rapid industrialization done under state planning
Well, once capitalism vs socialism genocide Olympics begin the discussion is pretty much over, at least from a social science perspective. But yeah, it's pretty unlikely that an argument that could attack state-socialism/maoism/marxist-leninism/communism/whatever as immoral, defend the morality of capitalism and yet still somehow remain consistent. The only person to do it somewhat successfully was Hayek but usually, you end up with something more akin to Rothbard or Mises.
> Not to say that the respective sets of problems are commensurable
The solution is to compare them anyway, obviously.
> and moral thinking split that happens with them: we know of no better way of doing capitalism without child-labor (or child-prostitution),
We know how "to do" capitalism without child labor but unfortunately, I do not think we can say the same about the industrialization which where we see the most flagrant abuses of child labor historically and contemporarily.
Regardless, I'm not really sure what you point is. It's not like capitalism has a monopoly on the use of child labor.
> yet the consequences of state-enforced industrialization and agricultural reform are unconditionally the final nail in the communist coffin.
The nail in the coffin for forced industrialization and collective agriculture reform is that it is that it is not competitive in the long term. Not that they don't have their place, many of the east asian tigers started with state lead reform and then transitioned to market economies.
> You see, that's the Mao's biggest mistake, he should have taken a different Great Leap in a pair of Nike® Air Jordans!

Picked up some Keds for $27.
I needed a lightweight, summer shoe, so I'll take it!
BOY
I am done class in about 2 hours and then I think I'm going to go to the mall to find some new shoes to replace my busted Nike's. Been checking Marshalls and such but nothing looks decent in my size so I may have to bite the bullet and spend more than $50.
Edit: Found these on Amazon and I get 5% back there. Not bad.
It gets better.
Good luck finding these. They are nearly impossible to find in this color. They were made by Bostonian. http://www.amazon.com/Bostonian-EASTBEND-Mens-Eastbend-Lace-Up/dp/B003UU998G

I got you. The laces that came on them were a darker grey than the shoes themselves and it made them look like white dad shoes, so I replaced them with white laces.
FitKicks are pretty awesome and are very packable and lightweight ~8oz for the pair

Red and Black ones - about 55 dollars
Simple Black - about 65 dollars
Adidas Black/White/Red Midtops -- 65 dollars
And if you like those - Could you surprise my daughter who is turning 9 next weekend on the For Sonya list :)
I found this https://www.amazon.com/Steve-Madden-Mens-Evrclear-Sneaker/dp/B004NTF0QS
amazon has them, but not quite in that grey, and i swear that isnt white suede!
Great product, affordable price
You can maybe use this pattern and just alter it to make it more like her jacket. I recommend using cotton if youre new to sewing. If youre up for the challenge though you can always use stretch Lycra or spandex. It'll be light weight depending on which particular fabric you get so you wont be too hot.
As for the Naruto Sandals, you can check amazon. I think they have some on there but I think all the sites just typically have the shoes that looks a little cheap.

Thoughts on these shoes? Debating between them and the standard memes. Trying to use up a gift card.
sambas or superstars are better alternatives imo.
Wife gave me this black adidas superstars, with what could I wear. I feel like I'm about to go play soccer with this.
Consider a brown leather wingtip / brogue boot with a lug sole. I've been wearing a pair in Edmonton this week in -25C temps with some good quality wool socks. They look equally good with jeans or dress pants.
Something like these:

What do you think of FitKicks? I heard of it from https://breakingmuscle.com/reviews/a-minimalist-running-shoe-for-under-20
ID?
Steve maddens: https://www.amazon.com/Steve-Madden-Mens-Evrclear-Sneaker/dp/B004NTF0QS
I am looking for some quality brown/dark tan wingtip boots. I saw a guy at a concert in jeans and these wingtip boots that looked extremely classy. I am looking for something that looks like this but not 450 dollars obviously. I don't mind spending $200 to $300 if they are really high quality boots that will last me.
I was going to go with this but the amazon reviews made it seem like the quality of these is lacking and the shoe falls apart fairly quickly. I like these and these but I want wingtip boots that are longer and look like european dress boots and the wingtip embroider design seems a little large and lacking in my opinion. Does anybody have any suggestions?
I have high arches and just wear very light fitting shoes that have a bit of sink in the sold. You don't really need arch support for a running show as you will put most of the weight on the sole of your foot anyway. Here's my current shoes that are fairly cheap by running shoe standards.

I don't know man. When they're available on Amazon in pretty much every size, I wouldn't say they're hard to get.
might give these a look. Prob wont last you forever but seems to cover all your bases and not bad for about $110 if you can find them on sale.
https://www.amazon.com/Clarks-Mens-Montacute-Lord-Boot/dp/B00J7HAX1S
Look for a dainite (or similar) sole'd shoe. I wore these (not dainite but still) the past two winters in Boston and they held up well to slush/snow/salt. Just replaced the laces this year, after the winter I'll probably need to get them re-soled as they're wearing down.
Hello,
After looking for a Converse-like shoe, but with no rubber toe cap and smaller bottom sole, I have settled on Keds Champion for Men.
http://www.amazon.com/Keds-Champion-Original-Canvas-Sneaker/dp/B002YD951G/
However, on the site the Grey and Steel Grey use the same pictures. Does anyone have a gallery showing the differing colors? In addition, any pics with guys wearing them?
Thanks!
Yes! I love shoes! You can never go wrong with Under Armour. They are good quality, good-looking, and will last you a long while. Check out all the reviews, stellar!
Now, I don't know what you will use them for whether it's sports or casual, but shoes can be versatile. Here are some I really love!
Now, if I had to rank them (and ofc, this always depends what you will be using these shoes for) I would go with 5, 3, 2, 1, 6, 4... I think. I may have messed up the tabs. What do you think?
Edit: oh, and if I had to pick something from my WL in that range it would be one of the two dark red lipsticks :) But you can also surprise me!
How about these? Under $100, come in your size and has 2 color options:
[Adidas Men's VS Hoops Mid 2.0, Black/White/Scarlet, 15 M US] (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072N65RW8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_O4.0Ab3NTQ3HG)
Surprise me if I win! I hope you find a pair you like!
I really like These and these
I hope you find your dream pair.
Surprise me if you like them!
I am the most indecisive person when it comes to shoes. I find it a really awkward thing to buy, specially in-store when you have to do that little test walk that makes people always walk funnily rather than normal.
I think its really hard to have a look for someone else so I focused on what I am looking for.
I started with comfort so you have a few different style of Skechers.
1)I dont know your family situation but these strike me as dad sneakers lol
2)These are a little bit more serious. I am from the UK so terminology is somewhat different. Not sure if you would consider them sneakers
3)These are sportier and ideal if you like to run but dont want to spend way too much on running shoes
4)Nike also has these running shoes I have always liked Nike shoes and they have a variety of colours, even if size 15.
5)I think these Adidas look amazing. I love that combination of colours.
6)Last but not least, another pair of Nike ones that I liked
Let me know what you think. I think I found it easier than choosing for myself which is very odd. I guess the hard part for me is making the final decision!
Should I win, I am happy for you to surprise me.
Thank you and have a nice day
Those stupid overpriced Adidas Yeezy Kanye West shoes.

Vans Unisex Old Skool Black/White Skate Shoe 9 Men US / 10.5 Women US https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000R3QPEA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_tixnzb0YFD326
I'd actually go with these [grey] if you want a close looking shoe.
Are these Old Skool Vans from Amazon real? The heel logo is black instead of red and the bottoms are white instead of rubber-yellow. Compare to this pic and this pic from Vans.com. They look sketchy.
Heres the Amazon listing https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XKBTFVT
>im curious how much I'd need to have for a decent shark hoodie
>300 - 400 $
For those wondering, this is the hoodie they're talking about.
They also think that Yeezys are reasonably priced.
