In a similar fashion, I have a suction-cup item holder in my shower (something like this), and once every couple months it loses suction randomly and crashes to the floor with everything in it.
Something about the bathtub amplifies the sound, so if it happens at night it sounds like a plane just crashed into your house. That's the closest I've ever been to a heart attack.
It doesn’t show in the pic but the shower caddy has rubber around the hanger at the top. It’s very secure and doesn’t really move around at all. Here’s the link to the shower caddy:

(I think this might be it...? Not sure how to post links, hopefully it works lol)
Personally I would avoid drilling into the surround. If the surround cracked it would not be an easy repair.

How high is the ceiling above the bath, have you looked into a shower caddy pole? or adhesive Shelving
Do you have room on the back of the door to hang something like this?

It doesnt give you more counter space but at least it provides storage.
Another potential option would be really tall shower tension caddy that you can place in the corner:

That's what I can think of now. You can get a LOT of this stuff on craigslist for low cost.
Move your soap.
Something like this will do the trick.
Rubber stamp carousels can work for both razors and brushes. Folks also use test tube racks for razors. Personally I have a couple of these toothbrush racks on the mirror right behind my bathroom faucet. I love that it uses no counter space at all and uses space that would otherwise be dead.
Edit: fixed mangled link

I don't have a ton of horizontal flat space for makeup. So to allow for more space and storage these Command Hook Caddies are phenomenal! They hold up super well too so far.
I also have implemented stackable, foldable kitchen shelves that are hard plastic. This gives another level to set organizers on (mine are all kinda mismatched right now).
I got one similar to this. I really like the smaller baskets because it’s easy to group things by person in our house, and they don’t fall over as much.

I have read of others using shower tension bars similar to this

How about something like this, a really nice robe & slippers, jets, or one of these to make the bath deeper.
I know some elderly people who use those suction bars instead of having grab bars installed and they seem to work pretty well, but I would recommend checking the weight restrictions (I mostly know little old ladies who use them) and ensure that you have a good seal on a smooth solid surface before using.
There is a cage thing you can have over your bath tub that you can put books or phones to keep them out of the water. See
Look for a shower caddy like one of these. BAM instant shower shelving.
We had the same issue and I got one of these handy guys to hang on the bar.
Its surprising some of the things you find out that you need after you move in.
AND A FISHY TO BE YOUR FRIEND!
These are just a few things. I just graduated college and I will never again underestimate the necessity of duct tape and a plunger :P
EDIT: Would you like a falafel with that?
I just graduated from college!
And let me tell you... the following items served me incredibly well!
Would you like a falafel with that?
I store my Muhle silvertip synthetic brush and soap container on the top shelf of my shower caddy and my razors on the other on the other end of the tub higher up on the wall using a tooth brush holder like [this] (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000SQPEZW/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) right next to a fog free mirror also held by a suction cup. Works great, no rust issues on the Weber or Edwin Jagger DE86bl/Maggard MR6B frankenrazor. Some rust issues on the ikon standard head, but that's because it really hugs the blade close and has no openings in the base plate to air it out.
I was looking for something similar for a while. I ended up getting 3M command strips, and using those to attach to a cut piece of over-door hook that worked surprisingly well. Clear too so not really noticeable and mountable just about anywhere. If you needed a pic I could get one for you. Also 3M has a spice tray that works pretty well for a standard controller but not so much on an elite. If you shop around they should have something that would accommodate an Xbox one controller nicely by now..
Edit: I know from experience that these work pretty well. The medium size holds a ps4 controller nicely, as it's a bit more slim-lined. I would think the large would be close to perfect for an X1 controller. I can also provide a pic of the medium size of you need it.
Something like this or this could work. The reason I went this route is so I wouldn't have to drill into the walls, and easily moveable as I move my room around often. Good luck
Not OP but it sure looks close to this! https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004EPXKKE/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1
this is a must for the shower, so your not going back and forth and dropping everything. good luck
From my girlfriend not me lol
"The corner shelf was originally a steel/aluminum bathroom shelf that I painted white. I actually prefer it because it doesn’t soak up any lingering water or cause mold. I can’t find the exact one I have, but here are amazon links to similar ones.

As for the peperomia hope, I’m not 100% sure if this will help with the curling, but I make sure to give mine a thorough watering when the older leaves closest to the roots are soft and the soil is completely dry. Mine is quite small, it’s in a 3” terra-cotta with really airy soil and gets bright light (currently from a grow light) so I do tend to water more frequently.
I hope this helps!!"
They also have (clear) caddies and these smaller ledges.
I love my Nspire but nobody is going to show you how to use it, you have to be proactive. I got mine the summer before and watched Youtube tutorials.

Amazon has some small shelf sets you could use. I also use a suction cup shower caddy thing attached to my mirror that will hold ~4 things. You could also get one of these.
Aww, that's not too bad! :) Is your shower caddy from a dollar store? It looks just like mine. Paid $1 three years ago and it's still (mostly) holding up. You should get yourself one of these guys to get back a little floor space.
I'd specifically get this one - http://www.amazon.com/simplehuman-Adjustable-Tension-Shower-Stainless/dp/B004UC9PV4/ref=pd_sim_hg_3?ie=UTF8&refRID=1DKJHJPND6XKN6P8NSYG

How about something like this for TP?
You should get this because if you're living with other guys it will be a huge help to keep your bathroom stuffs separate (though you may still have something like this at the Dorm). Trust me with any roomies it's just easier to keep the bathroom crap separate or people get cranky... Also if I win I would like a GC to help me save toward my IPOD touch :)
You're such a pretty pretty pretty pretty person ;)
A shower caddy may come in handy :) Would you like a falafel with that?

Just to add to warwatch who had most of what was on my list:
Some of this depends on how much cooking you are planning to do, but it's all pretty essential in my experience.
You'd need one of those shower head caddies, along with a couple corner shelves for all this shit.
Oh just realized you may have been asking about the shower caddy rods. You have to get these mounts for the shower rods. (these are the rods I got)

Might I suggest a shower caddy?

>The first feminine product appearing in the garbage absolutely does not mean shove chocolate down someone's throat and run away screaming.
Of course not. Some people are allergic to chocolate! Ok, kidding.
Seriously, though, don't let girls tell you period is an excuse to get out of chores. Most chores CAN be put off by a day or two if whomever drew that chore that week is having a bad day/feeling under the weather/cramping. Unless someone's in the hospital, they can contribute something. It may take them longer, that's all.
Do consider some sort of a job exchange plan. There are loads of ways to assign those chores which must be done around the house. Drawing from the job jar. Rotation. Whatever you pick, pick something. Don't leave it to volunteers, for certain. That's a sure way for the person with the worst neat freak to end up doing all the work. And hating everyone else for it. This is just not fair. The only other somewhat fair alternative I've seen is if everyone will agree to be present for a set period each week at the same time and all work until everything is tidied up.
fun fact: putting tea in a bath can be surprisingly amazing. i used raspberry tea and had a cup of the same tea cold. it was sooooooo good.
i also suggest purchasing a bath caddy if you have the funds for it.
In my studio I got lucky with storage but I know that I would get this bag holder as well as collapsible kitchen essentials. A slim trash can helps. If your bathroom has no storage, something like this can help. Hang your spices on the cabinet. Use this in the shower if you need more space. XD I use command hooks near my front door to hold my keys and daily jacket. :)
If your ceilings aren't too high you could put these in the corners and put the base stations on that. Take all but one of the shelves off to if you don't need them. Fits up to 8ft 1in ceilings.

As for the guitars, maybe look into getting some guitar wall hangers so that you get those off the floor? Plus it would look cool and fill up some wall space if your room is sparsely decorated.
Shower caddies help with organizing the personal hygiene stuff.

Congrats! Where are you going to school?
I would recommend this for transporting your stuff back & forth to the shower dorms and some shower shoes because if your dorms are anything like mine were they are nasty.

No, don't drill if you don't want any damage. Is there a reason why you didn't get a shower caddy that slips over the shower head https://www.amazon.com/Zenna-Home-7446SS-Expandable-Showerhead/dp/B009GPU3CU/ref=sr_1_5 or a corner unit that mounts floor to ceiling with tension? https://www.amazon.com/ALLZONE-Constant-Tension-Stainless-Rustproof/dp/B07425J51T/ref=sr_1_5 They come cheaper btw.

I forgot to consider you might be out of the U.S, but my tips should still apply.
This might sound obvious but don't overpack clothes. Some of my roommates and myself included brought so many clothes that we don't use and it's just taking up space.
For kitchen use, take your own utensils but just one of each you're not going to need more than that trust me. For kitchen equipment like pans and pots, if your buddys do get in coordinate who takes what so you don't have multiples.
In the beginning it's all about taking what's absolutely essential, if you're able to go home during breaks that's when you bring some more stuff if you have the space.
I'm gonna link some stuff in a moment that you should absolutely consider buying. They're going to be amazon links but big chain stores in your area should carry similar products.
These three products fold so they're easy to pack in any suitcase.

I ship to Mexico sometimes so maybe you can ship to Chile as well.
Reviewers still complain of rust.
I don't get why these manufacturers are so unwilling to make an organizer that does not rust. Nothing else in my shower ever rusts (like my showerhead, tub spout, or shower arm), except these organizers, so it is entirely possible. It isn't that complicated.. if you use the right material, the material will not rust.
This is a $130 organizer. Guess what? It still rusts!
Every single organizer that is advertised to be "stainless steel" or "aluminum" are not truly these metals. If they were, they wouldn't (couldn't) rust. The companies lie shamelessly.
I cannot find one organizer on Amazon where the reviews or customer uploaded photos do not show a rusted organizer. It's unfathomable.
