Obligatory You need the .83" UTG mount to cowitness the TRS-25 on an AR
The cheaper version: https://smile.amazon.com/UTG-Med-pro-Compact-Riser-Mount/dp/B003TX2BD4
The lighter/nicer version: https://smile.amazon.com/UTG-Super-Slots-Picatinny-Riser/dp/B01CKYYH16
Same sight is $20 cheaper at PSA right now: http://palmettostatearmory.com/bushnell-ultra-compact-red-dot-731303.html
If you really wanted the riser it's $10 on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003TWZG4G
Amazon had the version with the riser for something like $65 a few weeks ago, and PSA had just the sight for $60 a few weeks ago.
If you're in the US, you've got Evike, AirsoftGI, Amped Airsoft, and Airsoft Atlanta. There's probably more, but those are my go-tos.
For guns, I'd recommend CYMA VFC-clone AKs (CM040s, 045s, and 048s), G&G Combat Machines, or Classic Army Skirmish line. It really depends on your budget though. If you can go higher, I'd suggest doing so.
All I'd suggest to start with are a battery/charger, and some extra mags. If you don't like iron sights, get a red dot like a field sport with a riser. A foregrip, like one from PTS might be nice as well. A sling might be nice as well. I'm a big fan of my LBX Sling. I'd definitly recommend trying your gun before buying anything.
definitely worth considering a 1-4x scope if you are spending over a few hundred dollars. you can shoot both eyes open, you have variable power for mid-range shooting, and this Leupold VX-2 cost slightly less than EOTech 512 and weighs slightly less.
Edit: Red dots do have some advantages, especially if you are almost exclusively shooting at under 100 yards. But I find that most people that shoot targets, three gun, and hunt, are as well or better served by low power, variable optics.
if you are really worried about "co-witnessing" and you are worried about your optic going down and not being able to switch quickly to irons (or dropping hunting or at the range or some improbable scope, breaking shenanigan of a situation) then get a quick detach mount.
Nah. You can get a police trade in 92F/FS/G (the G will probably be a bit more expensive because decocker only is pretty popular) for probably $500 or less.
https://coppercustom.com/beretta-92fs-le-trade-in-beretta-92fs-leo
Then you have your choice of grips.
https://www.dsgrips.com/Samurai-Edge.html
For about $20 you can get a rail adapter if you can't find a 92 with a rail.
https://www.amazon.com/NcStar-Beretta-Accessory-Adapter-MADBER/dp/B0058DC520
For a little more than $100 you can get a great quality light from Streamlight.
https://www.amazon.com/Streamlight-69110-Weapon-Tactical-Flashlight/dp/B000JWD16E
The most expensive parts would be a threaded barrel, suppressor, and tax stamp for the suppressor transfer.
https://www.berettausa.com/en-us/barrel-92fs-blk-assy-threaded-black-threaded-bbl/jb92th/
https://www.silencershop.com/silencers/pistol/silencerco-9mm-osprey.html
But You don't need those last two to make a good Samurai Edge clone. Or the light really. You just need a police trade in 92F/FS/G and a set of grips which can potentially be far below $550.
Aero Precision Ultralight 30MM Scope Mount, SPR
No problem, it's this one.
The OP mentioned a scout mounted scope, which is usually put on rifles like this. Not good for ARs since you'd have to put it on the handguard which moves independent of the barrel/receiver (unless they are monolithic). Pick up one of the 1-4x options (Cross fire II is a good price) and an Aero SPR mount.

I built this with the intention of doing 3-gun competitions. This is my first build, but I've been around here for years watching and reading. Also..I've asked some questions along the way. I've decided to make this thorough as a mofo as I know in my stalking I'd have enjoyed it!

I would go with something designed for the AR platform that gets the scope out a bit farther so you can charge the rifle easily.
Like so
Needed an AR to get into 3 gun. Built one. Most people these days say at the entry-level AR price point to just buy a Ruger AR-556 or a Smith & Wesson MP-15 Sport. And I honestly don't see why when build kits are so cheap. For around ~$500 you can get one of the aformentioned guns. With a factory warrenty and support. But with a A post front sight, milspec furniture, and mil-spec trigger. Basically a plain jane AR in every way.
Or you can put together something with MOE furniture, a 13.5 Mlok rail, a cheap red dot, back up ironsights, a stainless steel barrel, and a upgraded trigger.
PSA upper so far has functioned flawlessly in the first 100rds it took me to function test and zero the sights and red dot. Fit and finish on the upper is just fine. And it seems to be just as accurate or not more for an AR in this price range. The EPT trigger included with the kit is pretty nice. Its probably a little under the weight of a milspec trigger. But it has nearly no travel, and a very clean and crisp break, with a short reset.
Bushnell TRS- 25 is a nice little budget red dot. They were a nice budget optic when I first put one on my Amazon wishlist 4 years ago. They were going for $80-100 back then. Now that they seem to be going for $35-45 dollars regularly it feels like stealing.
BCM Foregrip is really cool. I like the stubby compact grip, functions as both a handstop and a traditional VFG.
The whole build weighs in at 6lbs 12.9 oz unloaded.
Personally, I think this is a much better value than buying a cheap off the shelf AR.
A few notes. Prices are subject to change. I happened to snatch up the red dot at its lowest price available, but they often show up for around $40 or so.
Second I also built this of an 80% reciever because boogaloo. This obviously doesn't include the price of tools and the jig. But I could have just as easily used a $40 Anderson lower. Minus FFL fees because those vary.
Thirdly, this is representivative of what the average joe can build today. I hate seeing "budget builds" that start with people saying they used a once in a life time coupon and just happened to have half the build laying around in their garage. This isn't a gun thing either, every hobby has people like this. Also everyone seems to always have a "buddy" that is capable of doing some normally really expensive or complicated task for basically free. Not everyone went to kindergarden with some guy who just happens to be able to resurface the face of a engine block on their own dime Jim!. /rant.
Fourthly, I painted the reciever with truck bed liner. Don't do this. It goes on super thick, takes forever to dry as evidence from my smudge marks, and fucks up all the tolerances in the gun. But it does fit the spirit of the build. And the battle worn look is kind of cool, if it only fit the rest of the rifle.

Don't forget to budget for the SBS stamp and/or attorney's fees for making an SBS without the stamp.
Past that, "possible" is always a somewhat loose word. Lots of things are possible. Not all are likely or desirable.
That out of the way, sure. Pay your $200 for your stamp, then get a Pic-to-Pic clamp - like so (maybe buy two or three). Get a tri-rail fore-end for your AKM, like this one. Affix clamps between bottom of tri-rail and the Pic scope mount on the Tac-14.
Note that this will be ugly as sin for a few reasons - the masterkey has a fairly steep grip angle. The Tac-14 doesn't, so you're going ot have to shove that puppy pretty far up the rail, which will make it incredibly heavy. And thanks to the magic of leverage, it's going to feel pretty damn heavy, too.
That said, you do you, but expect some odd looks.
If your looking for a low cost silver 22lr scope then either of these would be good choices:
https://www.amazon.com/BARSKA-4x32-Plinker-22-Riflescope-Silver/dp/B001JJCHXE
https://www.amazon.com/Simmons-TruPlex-Reticle-Rimfire-Riflescope/dp/B0000V2MQE/ref=pd_lpo_vtph_200_lp_t_3?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=9VKD83GTM054YKVVH7E9
I would not use the supplied scope rings though for the dovetail mount that the Marlins have a "one piece" mount will grip it a lot better and not move on you. For example a lot of people use this UTG mount:
https://www.amazon.com/UTG-Medium-Profile-Airgun-Mount/dp/B002TUSJVQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1520903490&sr=8-1&keywords=utg+one+piece+scope+mount
Make sure to order the tube size and height you need for your particular scope / needs
Edit to add: Forgot one if you want variable power

Here's my completed LR 308 build. Parts list:
Grand total - w/o ammo: $2037.48
I took it to the range today, a really nice one I found about 40 minutes north of here. I couldn't spend too much time adjusting the gas block, as that's considered a repair and they didn't want it happening on the line. I did adjust it a total of about three turns out, but it's still under-gassed. I'll have to keep going.
I put 40 rounds through it on the 100 yard range and by the time I was wrapping up the second magazine I was pulling approximately 1 MOA groups of three, I wasn't using a very scientific approach, I was just trying to get it close while I started breaking it in. So I was just picking specific spots on the target and popping three rounds at them. I feel like it's a really good start for accuracy.
Other than the under-gassing, I'm also getting really bad nicks in the extractor lip on my cases. They are pretty consistent, so I'm wondering if I might need to run an emery cloth over the extractor tooth to break in the edges. I wasn't sure so I thought I'd get your opinions.
Anyway, it turned a few heads on the range, especially amongst the AR-15 crowd. My sons, who were with me, really liked the big boom and the fireball that came with it. The shock of firing was impressive, it really let you know it wasn't just a .223. It was very visceral, you could feel it in the depths of your chest. I liked it. I think I'll go out next weekend, too.
$60. https://www.amazon.com/Aero-Precision-ULTRALIGHT-SCOPE-MOUNT/dp/B00IB1V65I
I found your charging handle for almost $10 cheaper. You could cut the cost of the charging handle significantly by getting a one-handed one. I used the exact same lower build kit for my first AR. The lower build kit does not come with any tools. You're going to need some tools, such as a Castle Nut Wrench and a punch set
This is kind of optional, but you're going to need a spacer if you want to use iron sights (or else the iron sights will be blocked by the red dot sight. The spacer also helps a great deal is making it more comfortable, so your head isn't awkwardly tilted, obviously this will depend on your eye height.
Don't get discouraged if this seems confusing, if all else fails, watch an ar15 building tutorial and everything will be much clearer. Here's another tutorial. Good luck.
Aero Precision 30mm scope mounts are on sale at Amazon for 57.00 and would be perfect for one of these.

I love these mounts, lightweight, strong and affordable.
I meant why that riser. You could get one actually made for that dot that will look 100 times better, be lighter, and just be better.
https://www.amazon.com/UTG-Hi-Profile-Compact-Riser-Mount/dp/B003TWZG4G
Primary Arms MD-RGBII + Primary Arms Micro Dot Base Mount = ~$120
Sig Sauer Romeo5 (OOS online but sold in-store and can still be found for $129 online) = ~$120 - $129
Bushnell Trophy TRS-25 + .83 Height Riser = ~$64
You can also wait for the Memorial Day sales.
I've broken cheap mounts before. screws snap, they aren't in line, just bad all around. You don't want them to damage your optic, waste your time, or waste your ammo.
When I picked up an 'entry level' PEPR, I had already wasted $35 on a mount, $30 in gas, $50 in ammo, and 5 hours of my time from a UTG mount.
The waste and time alone would have paid for a much nicer mount than a PEPR, so in the end, I pissed away a lot of money on that poor first choice.
I still have the PEPR, and it is okay, but you have to pay attention to the torque on the screws holding it on because they will try to work loose over time.
My next mount was a 20 MOA ADM Recon mount ($160), which was QD. Not only has it been rock solid and has nice features, but you can feel in your hands how tough it is.
Aero makes a really nice mount for not too much money.
What is it you want in a mount? Light weight? Picatinny rings? Low cost?
My safe bet is usually the Aero:

This one. The one piece base gives more area to hang onto.
I can’t remember where I got mine but it’s a Picatinny to Picatinny adaptor like this one
Yes.
Vortex's website for the mount say 25-35 inch-pounds of torq.
Screws and bolts aren't quick detaching, this is an example of a QD mount.
Absolutely love my first .224 Valkyrie build, love it even more after hitting the range yesterday. Here's the shopping list--
Division G4 1'' Scope Mount - solid, kick ass mount that seems identical to the Vortex mount I have but way cheaper
Aero Upper
Ballistic Advantage .224 Barrel - super accurate with 60grain varmint-tipped
Mega Billet Lower (mates REALLY tight with Aero uppers)
Luth-AR rear stock
I also like the new Strike Quick Detach Takedown pins, so I put them on this one.
It will work without a mask, yes, although it's just a rail riser. If you don't have to use your full mask, you can just remove the riser and use the red-dot on the base rail without any issues. That's the neat thing about using a rail riser, you aren't changing anything at all, really. Well, you are, but at the ranges typical of airsoft with a non-magnified optic, you aren't really changing anything.
Measure the exact height difference between your line of sight (NOT to your cheek, just line of sight) compared to without a mask, and then try to find a rail riser that approximately matches that height difference. The one linked is the 'medium' riser, at 0.83 inches. There's also a 1" riser (['high'] (http://www.amazon.com/UTG-1-Inch-13-slot-Hi-profile-Riser/dp/B003TWX8HS/)) and 0.5" (['low'] (http://www.amazon.com/UTG-Profile-Riser-Mount-slots/dp/B003LT3ISI)).

Primary Arms AR15 Mount - $25: https://www.amazon.com/Primary-Arms-Basic-Scope-Mount/dp/B00GX670YO/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1492008330&sr=8-2&keywords=primary+scope+mount
TOTAL: $97
That's the best I could do on a decent optic and mount at $100. I doubt you'll find better in a magnified scope with a low range.
That said, you'd do yourself a favor by increasing your budget. It's not that the scope or mount I linked are bad, but noticeably better can be had for another $40 - $50.
Assuming you have $200 in Amazon gift cards, if you're looking to get rid of $199.98 you can get an MD-ADS red dot sight and its absolute or lower 1/3 co-witness riser. Normal pricing. I don't recall ever seeing these on sale.
*Here's a Maxpedition 8"x12" pistol soft case for your G34; it has elastic straps for 6 magazines. I have a 8"x10" (no longer listed) that fits a G17.
You can make this work.
As for the light, get a Streamlight TLR-1. You don't want a laser.
FYI there's a newer, lighter version of this mount (choose 0.83 for absolute cowitness, I believe).
Aero Ultralight is great, go with that. Currently [$68 on Amazon] (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00IB1V65I/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_F2DbBb86971NN).
I just bought this Bushnell. It is a great little red dot, and tough as hell.
I also bought this cheap riser mount because I was putting it on at AR.
What's your purpose?
I've got this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005UGIMNQ/ref=oh_o01_s00_i00_details on mine (with a riser, http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003TWX8HS/ref=oh_o01_s00_i01_details) and I've got no issues hitting an 8" plate @ 300y with my 20" AR.
I use this for my cheaper budget builds. Works fine. Gives a 1/3 co witness. I believe the medium gives absolute. May want to get something nicer if it's for a high end build though.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B003TWZG4G/ref=pd_aw_sim_200_1?ie=UTF8&dpID=41D4t%2BWp25L&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL100_SR100%2C100_&refRID=06BXBY2NDFQXS63XE7K6
I have this scope mount on my M14 if that interests you. The rings are wider than the Matrix rebrand scope I have so I wrapped it in electrical tape and it sits well. a bit more secure than just one ring if you are interested.
The Bushnell TRS-25 with this riser. Works great, real steel quality too. For BB protection get this, you'll need to glue it on or shim it with teflon tape so it doesn fall off
I only got it yesterday but so far it seems pretty good. I was worried about it being way too bright for using indoors but after testing it that doesn't seem to be the case. I have this Magpul rail extension mounted on the front most M-Lok slot on the left side of the handguard, and have the light mounted to that. The pressure switch is actually on the top rail, just behind where my thumb naturally rests. So far that seems like a quick and comfortable setup to use.
Thats normal with cheap scopes, not suited for airguns - they got destroyed VERY quickly.
This scope utg 3x9 have bigger chances to survive on whisper
plus 1 piece mount
All interesting choices!
I have the Marlin 795 and I installed this cheapo mount for my glass:
https://www.amazon.ca/UTG-Airgun-Medium-Profile-Integral/dp/B002TUSJVQ/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1524225459&sr=8-3&keywords=utg+.22
Added a little blue loctite on the screws.
I'll do the best I can because I have no clue where I got the metal adjustable part from. It was just laying around in my spare parts drawer. You could probably use a long picatinny rail as replacement though. For mounting I used a buttoned cloth strap, A velcro strap and lots of tape but its pretty sturdy as of now.

To expand on what /u/Lost_Thought said, the link you included has the standard mount that will result with a very close mount, like this or this.
If you want it mounted to better co-witness with your iron sights, you will need a rise mount that will end up looking like this.
The medium riser will co-witness with your irons. The high riser will give you a lower 1/3 co-witness.
These are the only two items (sight and one riser) you would likely need to purchase.
A cantilever mount of some sort. A good budget option is Nikon P-Series rings.
This wouldn't be a terrible scope for an AR but I'd consider something a little bit smaller and lighter.
Very nice sales pitch for the Tactical Sports.
Did some Googling around for ways to add a rail and actually found a response from CZ Customs: https://www.amazon.com/NcStar-Beretta-Accessory-Adapter-MADBER/dp/B0058DC520/ref=pd_sim_sg_3?tag=viglink128630-20
Very interesting. Would need to get a custom holster made for when I shoot the night shoots, but that's a problem for another day.
That makes me quite happy as I could go down the route of the Tactical Sports and might just end up getting this sucker: https://czcustom.com/new-firearms/cz-pistols-custom/cz-75-cts-ls-sao-9mm-black.html
Which means less tweaking and work for me - which is awesome.
Thanks for the info, forced me to do more research. I'll probably be happier with this route.
it will work fine low light, and you can get a riser if your mask blocks you from being able to see down it.

Something like this but you dont need one that long really.
EDIT: This one could be good

Magpul makes an MLOK light mount and separate rings. The kit will cost about $45. I think you can even get them on Amazon. Can't go wrong with Magpul. Other than that arson machine makes nice stuff, arisaka defense or Odin works are all respectable light mounts.
Edit: link on amazon scroll down for the kit rings you need for it total is 45.95.

An NCStar one. It's not as great of a deal as it was when I bought it, the price has gone up by $20. I have it mounted on a Nikon scope mount, can't totally recommend this mount as it is a PITA to put on and take off.
Just wondering what the villages view on this cheap scope combo would be? It's going on a 300$ beater PSA AR so I'm not really trying to put nice glass or a Burris mount. Maybe on the next build.
Just let me know what everyone thinks. Main concern is keeping zero for when hunting.

There’s a fulfilled by amazon used one like new for $59

A TRS-25 with a UTG High riser will give you lower 1/3 co-witness.
If you're in the continental US, I've got a spare TRS-25 laying around that you can have. You'll want to add a riser, but UTG makes a solid cheap one:
Absolute cowitness
Lower 1/3 cowitness
get this one its high quality and light weight
Seconded. But, u/Nonscrub if you cant pony up for the TRS, the Field Sport from amazon at $22 is the only other thing worth looking at in this price range.
Sight:
FieldSport Micro Red Dot Sight, Precision Red Dot Only No Green https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00Y3SZEJC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_yzVTAb7YEJJA4
Then grab this riser to get it to the right height:
UTG Hi-Profile Compact Riser Mount, 1" High, 3 Slots https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003TWZG4G/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_lBVTAbARE0S5Q
If you do get the bushnell red dot definately get this with it UTG Riser
It will allow you to co witness with the irons. It's cheap and works just fine for the 22 (doesn't need to be bomb proof)

I go a different way about it... Running a primaryArms microDot with a 1in UTG riser - I can peep thru the riser to easilly view the irons right thru it.

I think this would be a good mount. Aero Precision makes good products. https://www.amazon.com/Aero-Precision-ULTRALIGHT-SCOPE-MOUNT/dp/B00JVTD4EK/
My MK II has a BSA Sweet 22 3-9x40 ($50 on Amazon) mounted with some Weaver low-profile rings ($6 at Wal-Mart) on top of Weaver #24 mounts ($11 for 2 on Amazon). I had to remove the rear sight with a drift punch to allow the objective bell to clear the barrel properly. I do not recommend medium/high profile rings on this rifle; even with low profile rings I'm about 1/4" low on the cheek weld.
The scope is amazing for the money; it has enough elevation to mess around at 250 yards if you want, the turrets work pretty well.

The mount feels very durable so far I can't wait to use it.
Showed you guys and gals my first rifle the other day, a Diamondback 5.56 w/ basic Magpul furniture. I received some feedback about the scope and the not so ergonomic position it was in, which is nothing I ever thought of, even with my face buried into the stock. Ordered a Primary Arms basic scope mount for 30mm sized tubes with 1” rings. The chinesium scope I had did not make the cut for the mount, which I’m pretty sure cost more than the scope itself, so I made the decision to invest in an optic that’s worth mounting. I’m very happy with how it looks, along with the most important part with quality of glass, distance, and overall clarity.

You and I both know that this isn't the only thing stopping me from doing this.
But- I look into it. Looking at risers I found these two.

Best bet to wait for the sight to come in and measure? or is there a standard size for these?
Something like a SPR style mount mount would fit nicely. I'm not too familiar with repros since I mainly use real steel stuff.
Going from basic rings to a decent mount will do wonders.
In addition to the one piece rings everyone recommends have a look at the Nikon P-223 rings. They are light and strong. They will leave you rail space for things like offset BUIS and brass catchers. They'll usually run ya $50 but they're $37.50 on Amazon right now. Even if you have already chosen something else, try a set of these on your next build.
https://www.amazon.com/Nikon-Riflescope-Picatinny-Mount-Inch/dp/B00B5F02ZW
So I am going to start at my local indoor range, which only has 25 yard rifle lanes. Right now money is tight and I've already spent too much on myself during Christmas season, I ended up buying Bushnell Trophy TRS-25 Red Dot Sight Riflescope, 1 x 25mm (tilted front lens) and UTG Hi-Profile Compact Riser Mount, 1" High, 3 Slots to start with and get some experience. In the future if this red dot doesn't do it for me I will go for something in the $200 range.
I really wish I could use iron sights but as /u/nuffin_stuff wrote... "The QRC has the shaved FSB. Nothing to attach a forward sight to." so I don't even know how I would get irons on this gun.
yes.
save yourself the headache of rings, buy this:
https://www.amazon.ca/UTG-Airgun-Medium-Profile-Integral/dp/B002TUSJVQ/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1509544840&sr=8-5&keywords=utg+scope+mount
the dovetail on the marlin 795 is sorta shallow, I mounted my scope with the cheap rings it came with and after a couple hundred rounds it had slid back half an inch, ruining zero.
Switched to this mount, stayed solid for hundreds more rounds, survived a day of Mapleseed.
To mount it, just look on top of the receiver of your Marlin 795, you will see a sort of ridge or rail. That's an 11mm dovetail mount. Common on air rifles and .22's. Scope mounts slide on and you tighten the screws, similar to a picatinny rail, just without the slots, and narrower.
Actually, it' possible the PEPR directions may explain how to reverse the mount. My two piece Nikon mounts (http://www.amazon.com/Nikon-835-P-Series-Mount/dp/B00B5F02ZW) are entirely one piece, no removable parts on the base, and you can flip them or reverse them however you want.
Here is some info on people who have done it, /u/secutores
https://www.google.com/search?q=reverseing+a+pepr+mount&oq=reverseing+a+pepr+mount&aqs=chrome..69i57.9998j0j7&sourceid=chrome&es_sm=122&ie=UTF-8
Why not just mount the scope rings on risers?
http://www.amazon.com/UTG-1-Inch-13-slot-Hi-profile-Riser/dp/B003TWX8HS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1370635856&sr=8-1&keywords=ar15+riser
You need to source something better looking than that riser, or at the very least drop the magnifier, IMO.
https://www.amazon.com/UTG-Super-Picatinny-Riser-Height/dp/B019O40MLY/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1474065856&sr=8-10&keywords=1+inch+riser+picatinny
Would probably look way better. But es pricey since you'd probably need 2.
Check out the Aero Precision SPR mount. A little more expensive but half the weight.
Try this for absolute cowitness... one reviewer indicated cowitness with magpul BUIS
Don't quote me but I believe the 1" high riser would give you a lower third cowitness
I highly recommend the accupoint. I have several TR20 3-9's.
This is my recomendation for a good quality mid to long range magnified optic for something like an AR-15 paired with a fixed offset iron sight for short range targets. This would be a strong budget minded configration you will be very happy with.
Trijicon TR20-2G AccuPoint 3-9X40Mm Riflescope, 1" Main Tube, Mil-Dot Crosshair Reticle with Green Dot, $569
Division G4 M556 Series, 1'' SPR Cantilever Scope Mount $40
Ozark Armament 45 Degree Offset Backup Iron Sights $29

You rotate the gun from 12:00 to 1:30 to switch between sighting systems which is very fast and looks gangster. refer to my video,

What is the significance of a riser? Also what is the difference between this and this other than the price difference. and lastly would it be possible to buy the original mount and grab this riser?
I have the RBG with [this] (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00WGZOGJI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_kMzsu8uk2Objo) mount. It works well for my needs.
I prefer the brightness adjustment knob where it is too. Being a lefty I can just reach up with my off hand and adjust if needed. Just my $.02
Field Sport Red Dot and a riser. As for foregrips, look for M LOK grips. I like the Aim Sports M Lok Grip on my G&G.
Burris P.E.P.R. QD Scope Mount 30mm w/Picatinny Tops (410342) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004VMLMVE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_l3G3Cb2VC9XC5
Is not the lightest mount but definatly strong.
No its on with both screws. its this mount https://www.amazon.com/Magpul-Industries-Light-Mount-Aluminum/dp/B00MRB09NI I sits forward beyond the rail
Would this riser work with this gun?
I want to eventually get a red dot and I use dye i4's.
Wow, that's pretty. Can I ask what the specs are?
Not sure what Reddit thinks about Nikon glass but here's something with some more magnification and a solid warranty:
Nikon Buckmasters II 3-9x40 BDC
or
Nikon Buck Master II Scope with BDC Reticle, 4-12 x 40mm
And a mount
What do you guys think of the ones I linked ?
Other option is the Nikon branded ones https://www.amazon.com/Nikon-Riflescope-Picatinny-Mount-Inch/dp/B00B5F02ZW/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1491711882&sr=8-3&keywords=1%22+tube+scope+ring
However those 3rd party ones look really beefy.
Personal preference if you need the riser.
I do.
I went with a 1 inch. Lots of hate for cheap risers but I feel like as long as you use a good thread locker you're ok. If you use a quick disconnect and take it off often you could have zeroing issues. I had my TRS-25 zero'd @ 100 yards, took it off and then put it back on and it was still zero'd but you'll read stories about people with different experiences.
UTG super Slim Picatinny Riser Mount 1" High, 3 Slots https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01BI0I9AS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_9riNzbNMMKDNA
That's the riser I have on a rifle with my TRS-25 right now and haven't had issues.
Frankly man, I like the TRS-25 and feel like it's a really good entry level dot but if you have the $ just go ahead and buy an EOTECH or viper.
I'm away from my computer but can look up a good deal on a viper for another $80 bucks if you want to wait a little bit and I'll link you to it.
Let me know.
FWIW, I picked up this one from amazon:
CCOP MNT-1516 High Profile AR-ArmourTac Rifle Scope Mount Rings for Picatinny Rail, 30mm for $28 and have been very happy with it.
Don't have a PEPR to compare it to side by side, but it's a little bulky...and a little heavy, but....if that's all the PEPR is, why not spend half the money and get the amazon one.
If you're going with a LaRue, or a Aero Precision, then that's a different ballgame.
https://www.amazon.com/Aero-Precision-ULTRALIGHT-SCOPE-MOUNT/dp/B00IB1V65I
My bad, I thought I hit reply and it made a new comment.
I don't think I'll be needing rapid detachment. This look like a good option for me?
I run it on a cantilever mount like this Burris PEPR. I got a slightly cheaper version from someplace but any cantilever mount should work fine.
I have only had time to take mine out shooting once and it held up just fine. The one I linked to on amazon has 4.5 star average over 752 reviews so it looks like hardly anyone else is having trouble with it either.
For absolute cowitness you would want the medium height here-- https://www.amazon.com/UTG-Med-pro-Compact-Riser-Mount/dp/B003TX2BD4/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_sims?ie=UTF8
For 1/3 cowitness you would want the one I linked earlier-- https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003TWZG4G/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
$8.47 shipped:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003TWZG4G/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_3Ds4DbP8BN7YK
you can get the non-railed version for the classic look and get a rail adapter like these grips or this rail adapter
Order this. I have had no problems with it. Works great. $33 free shipping with prime
CCOP MNT-1516 High Profile AR-ArmourTac Rifle Scope Mount Rings for Picatinny Rail, 30mm https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DP26OUK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_MKTRzbX9JHZG3
For cheapness you can get a Fieldsport Micro Dot from amazon for $20 and a UTG Riser Mount. I do not recommend using these sights without a riser.
If you want to spend some actual cash on a really good optic I recommend either a primary arms T1 and riser or a [Holosun] (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00NC1G0KI/ref=dp_cerb_2). Dutch uses a Primary Arms but IMO the holosun is probably the best budget real steel optic on the market.
Since you're new to airsoft I suggest getting a cheaper red dot at first. This red dot is pretty good, only 20 bucks and has great reviews. For the height you should get a rail riser, like this.
Edit: also any normal red dot should fit on your rail system
I have one on my budget PSA AR build. I mounted it and haven't had any problems. The mounting bolts/nuts feel cheap but the actual mount is sturdy.
I would probably spring for a nicer mount if you are building a high end AR or a long range precision type rifle, but I wouldn't hesitate to buy it for a budget build or plinker.
There are a couple hundred amazon reviews: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/cr/B00DP26OUK/ref=mw_dp_cr
I got one of these. Haven't mounted the optic and shot with it yet but reviews are good and its hard to beat that price.
For the difference in price I'd go with the Aero ultralight mount. $75 all day for around half the weight. 3 oz isn't a lot but the ounces really add up when they're stacked awkwardly on the top of your gun.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00JVTD4EK/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1517512502&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=aero+ultralight+30mm
Keep in mind you'll probably want to get a riser for it to get a proper cheek weld.
Thanks, as mounted it did seem low. Is this OK? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00WGZOGJI/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A2D46XDRFDU1C8&psc=1
It is a Burris Fastfire III. Initially, I planned to get the cowitness mount from cz-custom for true co-witness.
https://czcustom.com/cz-scorpion-evo-3-s1/evo-custom-parts/cz-scorpion-evo-rail-mount-ff3.html
Out of the box with the factory low mount (pictured), you can sort-of get a lower 1/3 cowitness... but getting a cheek-weld on the blade brace was challenging. So I scrapped that idea.
I started experimenting with this mount : https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01BI0I9AS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It allows use of the factory sights through the mount and gives a good height for the Fastfire with a cheek weld. Not sure if it's the final solution yet.
This one? Did you mean co-witness was low?
For air through stock, you will need the Blizzard air through stock kit through MCS since it's proprietary to the gun. As for a good riser, I went with this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B019O40MLY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. It's rock solid and it's the perfect size for my sight. However, when it comes to barrels and covers, l've heard that Hammerhead barrels are very good but that's it. My Blizzard will be seeing the field for the first time this weekend.
The mounts you want are Weaver Base Mounts, size 24. Two of them.
And the rings I put on my mk2 were these cheapy 1" that are just fine. The scope I bought came with 3" rings. too high, but looks like that simmons comes with 1" rings anyways
sure, I ordered this one https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CKYYH16/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00B5F02ZW/ref=pd_aw_fbt_200_img_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=RYC5TNVNSG04J3MZG4A1
Here is the mobile version of your link
1. Yes
2. Rings are https://www.amazon.com/CCOP-MNT-1516-Profile-AR-ArmourTac-Picatinny/dp/B00DP26OUK
Scope is a Vortex crossfire 2
3. Yeppers
4. Yes, same ammo, same batch, bad grouping. Tried different ammo, same result.
*5. Even tested with a shooter who regularly removes groundhogs at 1500yds, bad grouping.
I can garauntee you the fault is nowhere but the scope or the scope mount. The scope mount is cheaper, but holds the scope solid and is at proper torque.
Nikon P-Series Riflescope Picatinny Mount for 1 Inch Tube https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B5F02ZW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_L9URzbMTS9H7R
Nikon M-223 Riflescope Picatinny Rails Mount for 1 Inch Tube https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BK4ISWC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_p.URzbR4M6HEQ
I had the exact same problem as you. The best thing to do is buy the UTG airgun mount ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B002TUSJVQ/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1501040671&sr=8-2&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=utg+airgun&dpPl=1&dpID=41MDJhdhg3L&ref=plSrch ). For some reason normal dovetail rings dont like to grip the 795 so they start to slide back after a while, as you mentioned. So you have to use one of these types of scope mounts that squeezes the entire dovetail, so that you have enough traction to hold the scope in place.
