Definitely do not scrub... if I'm desperate (only happened once while potty training) i will grab a huge wad to wipe the seat with or sometimes but I use long pieces of toilet paper to cover the seat.
Otherwise I usually bring with me her portable plastic toilet seat cover. Look into this dude. It was like 10 bucks, folds up and came with a plastic carrier. I'd get home and then sanitize it

We got our two year old girl a potty seat you put on the grown up toliet and a little set of stairs (like this but another brand). We heard this recommended at this little potty learning lecture a parent group had, the social worker suggested it was easier to just get them used to the big toilet from the beginning.
Worked well for us. For out of the house you can pack a little potty seat or as the social worker suggested I just held her on the adult toilet if we were at a grocery store or restaurant or something. This lead to her learning to hold herself, which she now does at almost three. She also now sometimes sits on the toilet without her seat or climbs up without her stairs to feel "bigger" but not always. So the transition is happening naturally.
Also, we don't have anything to clean. I don't want to have to dump and wash out a potty again and again.
We used this toilet look-a-like. and it was amazing. Our son trained super easy with this. We first tried with a more traditional squat type potty and he just wasn't interested. I think the fact that this one looks like a toilet made it easier for him to use. For awhile he would sit on it backwards, but eventually turned around. After a few months he was big enough to get on a real toilet without falling in.
My son is 4 and still doesn't pee standing up. He just scoots to the back of a toilet seat and that way nothing is spraying around.
Going potty out and about can be very trying. My son will never say he has to go potty, but you can tell when he has to go. Lots of crotch grabbing and hopping around. lol. Then you just take him in there and plop him on the seat. He'll get used to it. At first there was definitely some fear and crying, but your kid may handle it better. My son, in particular, was fearful of the loud flush industrial toilets often make. Also, you can always just take a trip to the bathroom even if he hasn't given any signals. Put him on the toilet and something will probably come out of him!

Well, we bought one of these few weeks ago.
It's quite big. I didn't realize they don't really make small, infant pottys here in US. Luckily K is in 75 percentile so he almost fits right. We let him sit on it and play with the past few days.
I heard him gearing up for poop two days ago and quickly undressed him and sat him on it but it didn't work. He tensed up and was 'done' pooping. He didn't really know what was going on.
Today in the morning same thing happened expect for I started reading books to him immediately and making poopy, grunting sounds and he pooped!!!
I'm quite happy with this! I know it's a lot of work but my goal is for him to be potty trained in 2-3 months!
I'm going through something kinda similar at the moment. My youngest son is three. My older two are 14 and 11. They pretty much potty trained themselves. Seriously. They were a breeze. I tried initially potty training the wee one after his first birthday. We just bought him his own potty and kept it in the spare bathroom and he'd sit on it and watch me use the bathroom.
Once he expressed interest at about 18 months, I bought him big boy underpants and let him roam. Well, here we are about 18 months later and hes finally getting it.
Whatever you do, don't force it. It makes things so much worse. Sure, diapers are expensive, but the more you push your little one, the longer it will take.
Try letting him free-ball it if you can. We got lucky. We have hardwood floors, so clean up is pretty easy. Yes, there will be accidents. Don't shame them. Just have him help you clean it up. There are consequences to having an accident. If he's still not getting it, give him a few weeks break and try again.
One thing that really helped us are those plastic underpants that go over cloth diapers, we use them over his underpants. It keeps everything contained in the event he has an accident at nap time. And avoid pull ups if you can. They're essentially just really expensive diapers.

Summer infant makes a great seat. Only $10 and basically a copy of the expensive baby bjorn seat. If you're looking for a potty insert I love the fisher price one. It has handles and best of all it has a back rest. My daughter (now 3) still uses the handles to poop and the back rest is great for nighttime potty visits when she is half asleep and flopped over.

My daughter just turned 3 and still occasionally uses the little potty (maybe 10% of the time). I don't let her poop in it anymore (cleaning it gets old), but pee is no big deal. She's been potty trained for a year.
We used the little potty exclusively for the first 6 months of her being trained. Then she started nursery school and saw the older girls use the big potty and she decided she was done with the little potty for the most part. Definitely needed it for training. We bought 2 to make training easier. We did the "Oh Crap! Potty Training" method, highly recommend.

Does he do the peeing thing at school? I don't have that kind of peeing equipment, so this is baffling to me.
Can you remove all distractions from the bathroom? No pictures on the wall, no magazines, nothing on the sink or counter? And if course not allow him to take anything in there with him.

I know it's kind of juvenile, but it actually makes me (briefly) wish I had the apparatus to pee in this because it looks fun! Make it fun, and we ADHDers can do anything!
If you decide to add rewards, remember we can't deal with delayed gratification. Don't have him collect tokens for a Lego set he gets in a month. Instead, each success means he gets a Lego brick. After it appears he's getting it, you could up the ante a little and say each successful day means 3 Lego bricks or something. After a while you could extend this to a week (get one baggie from the Lego set), and eventually a month (the whole set.) But do this only after it's clear it's a habit.
As an aside, Nature's Miracle is great for getting out pee (and other) smells. It's got an enzyme that actually dissolves the odors, rather than just covering them up with fragrance.
get one of these just in case. keep plastic bags and unused diapers inside of them for easier shit disposal. i have always carry it just in case since 1. i have a daughter and 2. public toilets in parks are usually in worse condition than concentration camps.
but if i had a boy, 100% just let him pee in a remote corner where no one can see him. and 100% join him and pee on others in retaliation if they got something to say about it.

I don't really know a whole lot about socialism or communism, but I'm going to try to refute you just for fun.
So your first point claimed that people only clean their own house because they benefit from it, not because it benefits society as a whole (or some other reason). Moreover, you claim that no one really cares about cleanliness in public places, or at least no one wants to take responsibility for it.
Because I'm not really sure if you are critiquing socialism or communism (as they go back and forth between the two in OP's video), I'll just defend both.
In the case of socialism, your argument doesn't really apply: incentivization is a major part of socialism. In fact, it is essential to it. Under socialism, individuals are motivated to work because the more one works, the more one has access to resources. As Marx put it, to each according to his contribution.
Under communism, cleanliness is not really an issue. Marx claims that communism can only arise under sufficiently advanced technological conditions. Thus, it isn't a stretch to claim that these conditions include the ability to keep public (or private) places clean with little to no work.
Finally, it isn't true that the division of labor is eradicated under socialism. Remember, socialism is just like capitalism in terms of work conditions except one is rewarded for their work rather than some arbitrary wage drawn up by a CEO. In the case of communism, division of labor is outmoded because of sufficiently advanced technology.

This isn't really true. In some ways, socialism is the answer to technological shortcomings of capitalism. Whereas capitalist technological advancements can be driven by fads or trends, socialism promises a strict adherence to what is necessary. E.g. instead of encouraging engineers to develop a Digital 2-in-1 iPotty, they are encouraged to work only on stuff that matters (no, we don't need the iPotty). Given enough time of focused innovation, required labor would reduce, hastening the era of communism.

Just so you're clear, Marx never really morally criticized capitalism.. Marx merely remarked upon patterns he noticed in capitalism. Thus, Marx is more a historian than a revolutionary. Again, the hard jobs argument shouldn't even really be an argument, and I don't really think OP's video really made a good refutation of it. Furthermore, the claim that work ethic today has decreased is unfounded (especially considering that you failed to provide any sources.) Even if your example of lazy rich kids is correct, this is just another strike against capitalism: under socialism, the economic chasm between rich and poor shrinks. Spoiled rich children is a symptom of the capitalist inclination for inequality.
For communism, the hard jobs are not those of physical labor (since these are minimized by technological innovation) but of philosophical antinomies, I claim. People will have to wrestle with the fundamental absurdity of their existence, the inevitability of death (although maybe we can prevent this with advances in medicine), and the indifference of the universe. But that's neither here nor there.

Basically, because capitalism emphasizes selling commodities for the highest price while paying workers the least amount, we get these strange anomalies where companies will actually produce less in order to make a profit. There is no evidence for this. In fact, there's no evidence for this being an observable issue in any economy, ever. Mises, the economist who came up with the economic calculation problem, himself claimed that "its statements and propositions are not derived from experience. They are, like those of logic and mathematics, a priori. They are not subject to verification or falsification on the ground of experience and facts." Essentially, the problem is a purely theoretical one and is unscientific because it cannot be tested. Thus, the "problem" only indicates inaccuracies in the neoclassical economic model.

Your idea of implementing "capitalism-with-a-social-safety-net" is a step in the right direction. Access to food, medicine, homes, etc. should be available to everyone, if not for moral reasons then at least for economic reasons, as you yourself have suggested. But this doesn't solve the problem of inequality, it only allows it to persist, albeit in a less extreme state.

Honestly, it doesn't matter who bullied who. The fact of the matter is that there was international (and intranational) conflict for Russia at the time. This muddied the waters, making it hard to establish a truly socialist regime without fear of domination from other countries. Like OP said, there were world wars going on at the time. Russia had to make sacrifices, and ultimately they regressed ideologically.
People who actually know about socialism and communism, please correct where I am wrong. I only have a passing interest in Communism. I'm more of a Baudrillard fan than a Marx fan :)
