This is the answer O.P!! I have noticed on my lot that aftermarket wheels will eliminate about 80% of buyers, especially when we're talking about a $14,000 family car and not a $3,000 Sentra. They project the image that it was owned by a "kid" and probably not taken care of. The TPMS light is also a glowing, yellow signal telling everyone that you cut corners by not spending the $200 for a set of sensors. It just tells buyers that your automotive priorities are misaligned, and that maintenance may not have been one of them.

Find a used set of the correct wheels and tires for the car and sell these wheels on craigslist. They are the "universal" kind with lots of extra lug holes, so they'll fit many vehicles. If the wheels you buy don't have sensors, you can get aftermarket ones for $35-$50 each at most tires stores (stateside prices, anyway...) If you get the stock, steel CRV wheels you can always dress them up with a set of chrome skins too.

Oh interesting. I thought you were talking about something like this

I haven't used these myself, but I have read a couple good reviews on them. If she hits the curb a lot, you should probably buy a couple spare sets!

I used this one and worked pretty good

I will say, those look like generic versions of the Honda Accord hubcap,

u/AustinLowery · 2 pointsr/CrownVictoria

Thanks! They look the same as stock, just lower quality, and no Ford emblem. I replaced them with these because they were getting dull looking

u/bravo6960 · 2 pointsr/civic

the steelies look better with the hub caps off to me. I have seen a chrome lip for steel wheels https://www.amazon.com/Chrome-Plated-Stainless-Steel-Rings/dp/B00GIA297I

What do you think about that addition to separate the rims from the tires? Do you think it would be too much? Nice car.

u/wildtacoPL · 2 pointsr/cars

Would probably look better than it is now, but if you plan on buying those you need hubcentric rings to avoid vibration. The centerbore of those wheels is a tad different than the civic.

These will work

u/LakeSuperiorIsMyPond · 2 pointsr/GolfGTI

These will help the steelies look presentable for the season.

Already thinking about Continental, Perelli or Michelin for spring/summer Serrons, lol.

I got new wheel covers like this for mine. There are a ton of options ranging from $25-45.

An OBDII scanner is kinda useful and you can use it with your phone to display info that the Yaris doesn't. Things like MPG, tachometer, etc.

I don't know if this will be useful but I'll throw it out there: wifi hotspot for your car for $20/month. More info here.

Cleaning your car also spruces it up too. Enjoy your Yaris!

Cover Trend (Set of 4) Black Matte Aftermarket 16" Inch Hubcaps fits Nissan Altima, Quest - Replica Snap-On Wheel Covers https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072R1NX85/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_WqI4BbNR6F34P

I put these $35 caps on my altima and it made the car look incredibly sporty while keeping the oem look. I got many compliments from my friends and my gf and only really up close can you tell they're not real wheels. They also kind of resemble the stock hubcaps so I'd recommend these to op.

> They are also wayyyy nicer than that 25$ shit you just linked to so gtfo....

What I linked were OE replacements for 05-07 models, meaning they're the same design, same material, and same finish as what were on the car from the factory. Maybe you have a newer Corolla with a different design? They're probably a lot more expensive in that case.....like $30.

Besides all that, it's a damn Corolla, who cares what the plastic wheel covers look like or if they're even present.

u/0000GKP · 1 pointr/NoStupidQuestions

Assuming you mean the standard hubcaps that come with the car and not an expensive set of rims, they are probably just falling off.

I have a 2011 Camry and have watched the hubcaps roll off while I was driving. Stop spending $100 on replacements. Spend $30 on a set of 4 instead (but make sure to get the ones for a 2012). They aren’t a perfect match but they are close enough.

There just pop on wheel covers but there good quality.

I just used flat black krylon 2 in 1 spray paint from Walmart, two bottles only. Rustloeum makes good spray paint specifically for wheels but I think that's online only.

Hubcaps you'll need to know your size. I got them after seeing another user on here with it.

>67mm

Will these work?

https://www.amazon.com/Hubcentric-Rings-Pack-Hubrings-Centerbore/dp/B00AAOEPSO

64.1mm to 67.1mm

It would be too large by .1mm if I'm understanding correctly...

But I couldn't find anything for 64.1 to 67

u/dave_the_nerd · 1 pointr/Cartalk

Scrapyards are a good place to look around, if you're just looking for something OEM-looking and don't mind some scuffs. The really flashy stuff is aftermarket and you just have to find what you like - tirerack or something, I suppose, to start with.

W/r/t sizing, I'd probably see what factory options were first, and use that as a sizing guide. Wheel-Size.com says that the Nismo edition shipped with 18x7" rims, so if you could find those somewhere that'd be a good place to start and you'd know it'd work.

To expand your search pool a bit, check out Honda Accord wheels. They shipped a bunch with optional 18x7.5" wheels about 10-15 years ago and scrapyards are full of 'em. They use the same bolt pattern and you'll need a 2mm (64.1mm -> 66.1mm) hub-centric ring spacer for the hub. They also have a slightly wider offset which should compensate for the wider wheel and prevent rubbing.

If you get bigger wheels you'd need different tires, of course, hopefully matching the outside diameter (so your speedometer/odometer aren't off). 215/40R18 would be the closest match and would work on either a 7" or 7.5" rim. If you did have the 7.5", you could go up to a 235/40R18. Which would be pretty grippy.

Or you could leave it stock, because they're probably fine as-is. But what's the fun in that. ;-)

Amazon has these for $25 for a set of four. Pretty close to what you have. Buying a new set might be easier and cheaper than trying to track down one OEM cover, especially as it won't match cause your remaining three are probably sun faded.
