I like this one! It fits in my purse, it's cute and it smells like roses.

He might be talking about those little fire stick... things? Lemme get a link. Found'em!

u/tardyontrain · 10 pointsr/india

> Also, these are US cows, not the holy Indian cows. So the “gou mutra” won’t be as effective too.

You sure about that, bubba?

u/Flamingoseeker · 8 pointsr/tipofmytongue

There's an incense called Nag Champa that has some woody/earthy tones without the menthol of eucalyptus (my girlfriend gets this one https://www.amazon.com/Satya-Baba-Nag-Champa-Gram/dp/B00SWXQ146 )

Also, Some honeysuckle scents (not directly from the flower but anything processed that's scented that way) can smell a little like old eucalyptus.

Looks exactly like it, thanks!

Edit: I just ordered 84 bucks of incense, neat

I can't say I've had anything like that. It's a shame you can't just smoke Pione. This stuff is pretty damn Christmas' Southwest style:
http://www.amazon.com/Pinon-Incense-Box-40-Bricks/dp/B001BAH8XU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1416237439&sr=8-1&keywords=pinon+incense&pebp=1416237442108

I will say Strauss Tobacconist has some Christmas blends that are slightly different but they don't have the evergreen bit you're looking for.

u/hdhrant · 5 pointsr/Incense

Shoyeido makes high quality incense that is especially beginner friendly. You can browse their entire line on their website and they also sell a lot of items through Amazon. Their Daily Assortment pack is a good introduction to their basic style, and Japanese incense in general. I particularly like their Plum Blossoms. I buy most of my incense from Japan Incense. They carry Shoyeido as well as many other great brands such as Baieido, Kunjudo, Keigado, Kunmeido, and Yamadamatsu.

u/DrWolfypants · 4 pointsr/Incense

Is this it? Creationtop incense:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07B3WQ9K4/ref=twister_B07B3QV387?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

The one selectable one is close but not exactly the same is the Australian Sandal : it has the lotus flower pinch hand gesture. The other choices vary with color of tube and also with flowers.

u/figdust · 4 pointsr/fragrance

Piñon is totally unique. It's woodsy but not really piney, if that makes sense. Not sagey either. It's almost like a distant cousin of sandalwood, but not as creamy and with a very unique personality of its own. If you want to smell the real thing, I'd buy some of this incense.

u/warringtonjeffreys · 3 pointsr/occult

Actually, you need to start fasting first thing Tuesday, because you need to fast for three entire days. So eat good tonight, and then no more food or sex.

You can text with me via private message here on Reddit. Or if you want, Tuesday night we can voice chat, but private message me first.

BTW, are there any restrictions or budgetary constraints in terms of the supplies you'll need? Can you afford to shell out twenty bucks for candles and stuff? If not, that's fine, just let me know what you can afford to spend. We could probably figure out a way to do it for next to nothing if need be. But if you can afford them, order up a green beeswax candle from Amazon. Order it now so that you'll have it by Thursday, so that on Thursday night you can "dress the candle" with herbs and such. This will be your primary offering. Also, you're gonna need some booze. If you're 21 or older, pick up some rum. Bune loves rum.

Here's a green beeswax candle like what I'm talking about:

https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B0143LZV7S/ref=twister_B07FNYVJCT?_encoding=UTF8&th=1

Another item, if you can afford it, is some "dragonsblood incense". This is the cheapest stuff I could find. If you can afford better, cool, otherwise this stuff will work:

https://smile.amazon.com/Hem-Dragons-Blood-Incense-Sticks/dp/B0016Z3BA4/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=dragons+blood&qid=1569887102&s=home-garden&sr=1-2

So, to recap, for materials, you'll need the candle (which we'll dress on Thursday), the Dragonsblood incense, and rum. You should be able to score all that for $20 or so. If not let me know and we'll prioritize.

u/zain1749 · 3 pointsr/TooAfraidToAsk

There’s more to it than that. They take cow piss pills. In fact, you can find some on Amazon, right here.

Edit: there’s literally actual cow piss for Indians on amazon to drink. Here

u/RayceARoni · 3 pointsr/malelifestyle

Agreed on both points! OP, if you're curious about sandalwood incense, I highly recommend the Morning Star variety.
http://www.amazon.com/Morning-Star-Sandalwood-Incense-Sticks/dp/B001B6ALM4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1396644614&sr=8-1&keywords=morning+star

  1. Air mover by the window/door. On during and post smoking.
  2. Lampe Berger. Once post smoke.
  3. Incense. Specifically this. I keep it lit at the other end of the room. And one post cigar.

1 hr later, no cigar smell.
u/adelinarose · 2 pointsr/Incense

Yes, this is why it's so hard to trust anything online...This has literally 1K reviews though, what do you think? https://www.amazon.com/Sai-Baba-Nag-Champa-Incense/dp/B0000ZUGS6

u/Mikon77 · 2 pointsr/Incense

I will definitely see if she could let me borrow some to try. I've heard that artificial are harmful and that it's best to stick to natural. The ones I am thinking about ordering for my first sticks are....

https://www.amazon.com/SHOYEIDO-Plum-Blossoms-Incense-sticks/dp/B001B652NC/ref=sr_1_3?crid=H0G92APKO0PR&keywords=japanese+incense&qid=1574789649&sprefix=japanese+in%2Caps%2C166&sr=8-3

Car camping is great because you can bring all sorts of goofy stuff with you.

If you're camping at altitude, getting a fire going can be a bit of a challenge due to less oxygen.

Bring a battery powered air mattress pump. Of course it helps blow up your air mattress, but its great for stoking the fire. Bring some firestarters, they sell them at the grocery store, a propane torch, propane tank doubles as fuel for camping stove, and you'll have an easy fire in no time.

u/the_tickles · 2 pointsr/everymanshouldknow

Burning Paine's cedar cones will make your home smell great. They're really small - each cone is smaller than the end of your pinkie finger - but they pack a lot of manscent.

u/Twinky_filled_roach · 2 pointsr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

Happy anniversary Melbot!

helluva landmark :)

u/EmmaBourbon · 2 pointsr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

This is what my artistic drawing is about. Meow

u/theexotictree · 2 pointsr/entwives

This is my favorite inscent. I have to order it online because no shop in my town sells this specific box. I am also a big fan of lavender oil, so i have a couple of oil burners with that in it around the house. I also make a lemon eucalyptus h20 spray to help keep fleas and fruit flies outta the house. Recently I have gotten into the scent of cedar. my favorite uncle made me a huge ceder chest as a wedding gift. 😍 that smell. Nag Champa Red

u/Patentlyy · 2 pointsr/Ghostbc

I'm pretty sure they use this

Mods should definitely put it in next FAQ as it gets asked quite often..

u/xxwolfpackof1xx · 2 pointsr/Incense

I actually just got a box of incense too, I don't think mine is fake. It doesn't put off any black awful smoke when burned and smells wonderful. Link to the incense and pics for comparison

Even if what i got is a knock of of the real satya brand it still smells amazing and nothing like cheap incense you'd find in dollar stores.

u/teenaamariee · 2 pointsr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

Hope you feel better soon!!

these fire starter sticks would help me be productive because i have a very hard time starting the fire in our wood stove without them. I try scraps of paper, cardboard, etc... i can't ever get it going without cheating haha!

u/djtyral · 2 pointsr/trees

Yeah, I bought the burner and the incense on Amazon.

I’ll help.

Amazon.ca has them. Not sure if that’s the regular price or not.

u/gruebeard · 2 pointsr/Incense

I don't know if I've ever been inside a Hot Topic, but I can at least tell you that Dragon's Blood is a fairly common incense scent. You can almost surely find something pretty close, even if you can't find the exact brand. Do post a pic, tho. Good luck.

For example.

u/WhiskeyandKittens · 2 pointsr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

My Friend Dahmer. I am currently reading this and it is awesome!

Thanks for the contest. Have a great flight!

u/VahelDiRaizel · 2 pointsr/AsianBeauty

I hate having dry hands (curse the dishes) so yes I do use hand cream. There's also the saying that you can tell a person's real age by looking at their hands~

As other suggested, you could use body sunscreen and/or body hand cream too!

I really like the Skinfood rose and shea butter hand cream. It's 25 spf, absorbs pretty fast and doesn't leave my hands sticky. (I have pretty oily fingers btw) It also smells really good! It might be a bit strong for some people but I personally love how the smell stays even an hour later.

u/Daheep · 2 pointsr/AsianBeauty

Skinfood's Rose & Shea is nice, but you need to like the scent of roses, as the fragrance is a little strong.

u/Atyrius · 1 pointr/Incense

You should look into coreless japanese incense. Burns nothing but incense and barely any smoke.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001B652NC/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

My favorite.

u/Chess_tactician · 1 pointr/amazonecho

Hmm, maybe you did it wrong?

I just went through the whole process. I said, "Alexa, order incense" and it came back with the first choice. I said no, Alexa moved on to the second choice, when I said "Yes" she asked for my "Voice Code".

This is what Alexa sold me: https://www.amazon.com/Nag-Champa-Sandalwood-Patchouli-Celestial/dp/B004FP9P0M/ref=sr_1_1?s=furniture&ie=UTF8&qid=1478610583&sr=1-1&keywords=incense

Not sure where you might have gone wrong.

u/Lord_Tiny_Hat · 1 pointr/trees

This sampler is great. The flavors are nice, the incense is well made (soft, takes a second to light, fairly even average diameter).

This one seems like a deal, but the additional varieties, excluding superhit, are all chemical smelling junk with a totally different consistency(they light instantly and give off lots of black smoke before you blow them out).

u/delerium23 · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

my fave is and has been for a very long time.. Nag Champa

u/[deleted] · 1 pointr/trees

Here's the one I use, I just buy it locally. Dragons Blood

u/drht · 1 pointr/japanlife

these might be closer, that's the brand you often see in Japanese markets for the grave visits

u/0six0four · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

Home Sweet Home congrats on your new place. my house needs some incence to smell good or a little plant for my desk. thanks for the contest.

u/sepipgab · 1 pointr/malelivingspace

I swear by cedar incense cones. They aren't cloying in the way that scented candles can be and I think they smell terrific! Also I find them cheap compared to candles. The ones I get are Paines

u/satoshi64 · 1 pointr/magick

Another quick question and I'm done for now: is it okay if I get gold leaf that isn't entirely real gold but a blend will it work? (I might be wrong but I've found some listing that says it is like 999/1000 real gold which I read as meaning 99% real gold, so I might be wrong).

Better way of putting it: will these be alright?

https://www.amazon.com/Hem-Dragons-Blood-Incense-Sticks/dp/B0016Z3BA4

https://www.amazon.com/Gold-Leaf-Sheets-1000-Real/dp/B00VALQQ60

I would love to get this for my wife if you go into the new/used section you'll see it for sale from a Vendor called XTREMEK for 4.99 + 4.00 shipping

u/toddw65 · 1 pointr/technology

Well, back to Amazon I guess. :-D

u/glodime · 1 pointr/AskReddit

Great tip. Thanks.

I think the OP would be interested in nag champa, frankincense and myrrh incense as inexpensive options.

u/Eatingcactastic · 1 pointr/ActualHippies

Is it not this?

u/mistiara · 1 pointr/Atlanta

Kind of a cheat, but you can also buy pinon incense for a quick fix https://www.amazon.com/Pinon-Incense-Box-40-Bricks/dp/B001BAH8XU

u/The_Great_Gasmini · 1 pointr/Anxiety

I posted a similar question on here for a gift for my boyfriend, and I got a lot of great responses so I decided to make a "panic box" for him with lots of different ideas.

He is big on scents for soothing, so I got him a relaxation blend and frankincense essential oils, as well as his favorite incense.

He is also very responsive to tea, so I got him this pregnancy tea. I know that seems weird, but it was one of the few on Amazon that had chamomile and oatstraw. Although I didn't really expect them to work, I also got him stress mints, calm drops, and moon drops in hopes that having something to suck on might calm him down if some minor anxiety pops up.

As for books, after reviewing this thread here, I got him this anxiety memoir since he seems to benefit from reading other people's stories (shout out to this subreddit! Thanks guys!), as well as this workbook.

Finally, I got him a panic pete to give him something to hold and squeeze when he was anxious. Out of all the things I got him, he loved panic pete the best!

As a final, personal touch, I printed out this article which he loved reading when he is anxious, and included some of the calming mantras I found here.

Hope at least some of this helps!

u/jameslynnwebb · 1 pointr/oddlysatisfying

These are my favorite, each scent is really different and fun to try.
These are the backflow ones I use (like the video) and have some strong, distinct scents as well, though I prefer the first ones.

u/siameseslim · 1 pointr/freebietalk

Also, for example look how cheap. I used to buy a big bundle of incense at an asian grocery store for less than 5 bucks I think this is the same, or similar https://www.amazon.com/HEM-Incense-Patchouli-Sticks-sticks/dp/B001BPJZIG

u/neoblog · 1 pointr/trees

The bounce sheets will help, wad a bunch up and fill the inside of the roll. Get a protopipe (has a swing lid on top) for in between hits... and finally go get some Nag Champa incense... you'll smell like a fucking hippie 😂 but the neighbors won't be able to smell weed!

u/Draco_Dormiens · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

-a hammock because the outdoors is awesome
