Best Buy is having a sale on this boxed set FOR ONLY 15 BUCKS!
For this cheap you can get a great gift for someone who dosent already have it or if you yourself have been wanting to play skyrim.
I bought this last year and have put about 1200 hours into all the games of you add them up. In this boxed set you get all 5 of the elder scrolls game INCLUDING their dlc. the only elder scrolls game you dont get is elder scrolls online.
Skyrim requires a steam account and comes with a code which will add morrowwind, oblivion, and skyrim to your steam account. All the games can be installed with the included disk and all the games except skyrim can be run without steam. (morrowind and oblivion can be run with or without steam, skyrim can also be installed with the disc but you cant play it unless you activate the code on your steam account.)
Only for PC.
Oh and you also get matching maps for each game.
edit It appears to have sold out? Good news though you can get it on amazon and walmart for 20 bucks still. http://www.amazon.com/The-Elder-Scrolls-Anthology-Pc/dp/B00E9I1FPI
Don't! Everybody that want the game, buy this collection from amazon - Main game and every single DLC (21 in total) for just 15 bucks (excluding the Old Gods), total steal. (you will get email with CD keys and use them on steam)
For those in EU, amazon or Paradox have much cheaper price for the new DLC
In case you missed the comment from yesterday:
Step 1: Buy Deus Ex: HR on Amazon for $10. (USA only)
Step 2: Click "go to games library" after purchase.
Step 3: Get this code.
Step 4: On Steam, click Games > Activate a Product on Steam
Step 5: Paste, enjoy!
Edit: In case you're downvoting because you think I care about karma: I don't! I just want people to know about this amazing deal. :D So feel free to upvote or downvote as you please.
DLCs are mostly multiplayer skins and weapons (which might be unlockeable through normal means, not sure), while there is more single player content, it's just one DLC. It's just one tomb and it takes about 2 minutes to solve.
Multiplayer isn't even that great, it just seems something they added because they were forced too. It's not terrible, and there can be joy if you play with a bunch a friends, but it's not well executed.
While Tomb Raider 2013 is honestly one of my favorite games from last gen, I wouldn't recommend the GOTY edition when the base game is cheaper. It's honestly the same experience with a $2 difference, and I don't think $2 is worth spending a bunch of useless DLCs for espescially when the steam sale is coming up.
Click here for more: Amazon has several PC Digital Download games on sale, such as...
Dungeon Defenders - $1.99 (Bought it about a week ago for $2.99, was e-mailed a Steam key. This is a definite "YES" from me. Keep in mind, it does NOT include the four "TF2 Familiars" or the Portal Gun as Steam's version does. I didn't mind this, as the pets later on are far, far better.)
[Sid Meier's Civilization V: Game Of The Year Edition] (http://www.amazon.com/Sid-Meiers-Civilization-Game-Download/dp/B005OSTWWK/ref=sr_1_2?t=slicinc-20&tag=slicinc-20&s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1324709552&sr=1-2) - $10.99
Borderlands: Game Of The Year Edition - $5.99
Mafia II - $5.99
Tropico 4 - $4.99
The Witcher Enhanced Edition - Director's Cut - $3.35
BioShock 1 - $5.99
BioShock 2 - $5.99
Duke Nukem Forever - $5.99
Dues Ex: Human Revolution - Standard Edition - $9.99
Dead Island - $12.99
As far as I know from what others have said, Dungeon Defenders, Dues Ex: Human Revolution, Dead Island, Civilization 5, Borderlands, and Mafia II can be redeemed on Steam. Some others can not.
Some (not all) of these games also have a special promotion:
Order this product between now and 12/31/2011 and receive a $5 promotional credit good towards any of the 2011 bestselling Video Game Download like "Battlefield 3" or "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3" in the month of January 2012. You will receive an email with your promotional code and redemption instructions. Qualifying codes for this promotion may only be used one at a time. Here's how (restrictions apply)
Here is the page for the NA timecard.
Edit: Thanks mods for fixing the thread!
As for the Timecards, they seem to be going out of stock only temporarily as they restock their supply of codes from SE. They've come and gone about three times now so just be patient and check back in 30 minutes to an hour. The promotion info returns to the timecard page as well when it's in stock so there's nothing really going on besides running out of codes temporarily.
After a few days of waiting, I got my key for Dishonored from Gamersgate a few days ago. I'm about 4 hours in, and really enjoying it. I'm trying for an all non-lethal game but not going back if I have to kill a few guards. It's quite fun and tense to take a guard down when you know another one could turn at any minute and come after you and narrowly escape carrying the body. I've been playing it on hard even though i'm not the best stealth-er, and I think it's the sweet spot for difficulty. If I do a second playthrough I might go all-lethal, because it sounds fun as well.
Also juuust started Dark Souls as it finally went on sale now that I have a controller. What can I say? It's as tough as people say it is. Currently i'm just camping at a bonfire, re-starting basic enemies just to learn to parry so I don't keep dying. I thought it'd be frustrating to die a lot, but I think i've heard so much about it being hard, I have accepted that I will die, and I just need to try to be better... and die less.
It is very important that everyone knows that...
All on Amazon right now with Steam redeemable keys. Honorable mentions go to the Desert to Sea Bundle featuring Bioshock I and II plus Spec Ops: The Line for only $9.99 USD, as well as the Bioshock Triple Pack featuring Bioshock I, II, and Infinite for $39.99 USD.
REMEMBER:, all of these games are available individually at reduced price, and all purchases can be 15% off using the code gooncave.
Happy Gaming Everyone!
From this thread in /r/darksouls.
It's always better with a charity tag.
It'll last until end of May. To buy it, you just have to use a US billing address, so the offer is available worldwide.
If you don't have this game and want to get it, I recommend the Crusader Kings Pack for only $15. Includes CK1, CK2, and literally EVERY piece of DLC released to date.
I was able to snag this exact pack in January for $10, but $15 is a great price as well.
>Dark Souls: Prepare To Die Edition - 7.49
Dark Souls nice and cheap? Yes please! I'll be looking forward to that. :D
1. Buy a Windows 8.1 tablet
2. Buy Halo: Combat Evolved
3. Install Halo
4. Plug in controller
You can still buy Combat Evolved that comes with a CD Key on Amazon for $20
Suggesting a keygen goes against Rule 1 here, so definitely don't do that. Don't copy that floppy. You don't want no beef with the Chief.
To those picking it up. It has issues but most are fixed with (tiny) mods.
I highly recommend this game to people who like a challenge. By far the best RPG I played to date.
Praise the sun!
Edit: It's now cheaper over on amazon - Use 'gooncave'
It's $21.00 with $3.99 shipping.
Those looking to buy Tomb Raider, save $1.23 by going through Amazon instead:
Note: The above promo is ONE time use meaning you should use it on the most expensive purchase if you are buying multiple downloads.
Price after coupon & tax: $11.26!
EDIT: I realize a savings of $1.23 is not huge, but a couple of cards can't hurt :)
Or not. Amazon price matched it:
All DLC is 80% off too.
Also, Amazon has it for $10 - thanks to timpkmn89
Brother, you must acquire the base game here, Then download Halo: Custom Edition from here to take advantage of your shrine with custom weapons, vehicles, and maps along with HD graphics and an active online community!
EDIT: I'm uploading an album taking a look at the game. Also,I somehow stuck a random meme at the end. Whoops.
EDIT 2: Album here.
You can buy each separately for less on Amazon
The First One
The second was also on PC, but was used as an incentive to use Vista. Since no one did, MS figured it was not popular as a PC title and kept it on Xbox since
Link to Diablo 2 on Amazon.

Some deals I found
Bioshock Infinite - $19.99
Dark Souls - $7.49
[It's on sale right now!] (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00917DBUE/ref=dsvrt_review_asin_detail)
Yes it is. https://smile.amazon.com/Halo-Combat-Evolved-PC/dp/B00009TW6R?sa-no-redirect=1
currently 20 dollars at Amazon
Yep, Halo 2 is on PC.
At the moment you can get the base game, all the DLC except that which came out yesterday (which is a LOT of content, you can get the new DLC later if you are interested - I have played 100s of hours without it and still am not bored), and CK1 on Amazon for $15.
This is to celebrate the new DLC's release. If you are not comfortable with spending the small amount of extra money before playing the normal game - there will be sales again.
EDIT, non-mobile link (was on phone): http://www.amazon.com/Paradox-Interactive-41303-Kings-Pack1/dp/B00B7UK2I2
This is Blizzard we're talking about. The Diablo Battlechest is still $20-$30.
It's currently $20 on amazon.
The base game is only $4.
Halo : CE for PC
Halo 2 for PC
and here is a reddit community for a psudo halo3 multiplayer that has been developed separately from microsoft.
Not anymore it doesn't:

State of Decay | 75% | $4.99
Styx: Master of Shadows | 50% | $14.99
The Banner Saga | 75% | $4.99
I'd wait for Dark Souls: Prepare To Die Edition ($7.49). I bought it and I love it, but you need a controller since it's a straightforward port, but also if you're not into first person action RPGs, then maybe Bioshock 1 and 2 ($4.99) or Batman Arkham GOTY Pack ($11.49) for action. Then there's Microsoft 5-Game Arcade/Indie Pack ($9.99) if you want to go casual (or just get Mark of the Ninja ($3.75) from it). Some people like The Storming, Burning, Reflecting, Flaming, Sabotaging Pack ($9.99).
If you like strategy games, I'd either look at the Paradox bundles or wait for X-COM and Civ V Gold because I think they'll be cheaper later this month. Oh, and there's the Sonic Action Pack ($9.99) if you like platformers. I don't myself, but Generations make it a great deal for $10.
I've never played it, but It's $15 from Amazon. And don't forget it's a monthly subscription, too.
have you've tried this?
Amazon is matching this, should go live in the next half hour or so. $9.99 (and will probably still come with that $5 credit towards this years "best selling games)
edit: it's live http://www.amazon.com/Deus-Ex-Revolution-Standard-Download/dp/B005HRZ29K/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1324582634&sr=8-4
I never pay more than $10.00 for a game.
I was so thrilled that Amazon had Deus Ex: Human Revolution on sale for only $10.00 yesterday and it was Steam activated!
Probably the best game I've bought all year and for only $10!!!!
: - )
Edit - Amazon still has the $10 Deus Ex deal. Here's the link:
It says it's a digital download but if you go to your digital content part of your Amazon account it will give you the product key needed to activate it on Steam. I'm not sure how much longer it will be on sale.
It also comes with one DLC, one of the weapons ones, the Tactical Enhancement Pack.
It's $1.74 on Amazon right now! Anyone who doesn't have it by now should get it.
And KB/M FTW!
Edit: Fixed to $4.99 :(
Hey, I dont know if you care, but you can get Basegame+Heavensward/Stormblood for 48 dollars on amazon if you make a prime trial
If you like the game, I would really recommend pre-ordering stormblood soon, you get an 30% EXP accessory boost items for every job under level 50
I doubt they'll be cheap for a while yet. But let's assume that the prices drop, probably Halo 4 (then again Halo 1 still sells for $19.99(on pc) so who knows).
Assuming you're in the states:
Amazon has this at $30, and you can activate this on steam.
Here is the link using Child's Play's affiliate ID.
Unobtainable? Literally took me 5 seconds to find
"It would never happen"
The PC download is $40.88 but if you browse the other seller options for the hard copy you can find it for $30.99 + $5.09 shipping from salesdonerite. link
Deus Ex: Human Revolution is 13.81 on Amazon and you get a Steam key that you can activate.
It is a fantastic game, check my post history to /r/shouldibuythisgame for some reasons on why.
Not sure if it's worth it with a subpar graphics card - parts of the game can get framerate intensive. However, the game itself is absolutely worth buying if you like the idea of a challenging open-world RPG.
EDIT: Here is one such example. There is a small mod you can download to bump up the game's graphics - very simple installation. Use of a controller is recommended, but not strictly necessary.
If nothing else, it's on sale off Amazon (or was... might still be) for $7.50.
You sir are correct! $15 for both games AND all DLC! I'm not sure if I'm ready for this game but I'll see what happens http://www.amazon.com/Paradox-Interactive-41303-Kings-Pack1/dp/B00B7UK2I2/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1369762031&sr=8-3&keywords=crusader+kings+2
The Legendary edition is usually $20-25 and comes with all the DLC.
edit: added amazon link
if you're interested you can get Civ 4, Civ 5 +(g&k) and xcom for $20 here
http://www.amazon.com/Battle-net-Store-Gift-Card-Balance/dp/B012JMS4W2/ two of these should do the trick.
Here you go. Works fine on Windows 7 and 8.
The reason it required Vista at the time is the DirectX 10 requirement; all newer versions of Windows also have DX 10. When the game was released, however, your two main operating systems for gaming were XP or Vista, and the latter sucked if you didn't have hardware with Vista drivers available. Since Win 7, DirectX 10 requirements haven't been an issue.
what about Deus Ex: HR Augmentation $10 right now
found on /r/Games
Also Tomb Raider ~$14 after this code http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007VFHGZ4/ref=dsvrt_review_asin_detail
i recommend CK2, its their best game IMO. Also a very good reddit community, r/crusaderkings, and an amazing Game of Thrones mod.
Also, the complete pack (CK1 + Ck2 + All DLC) for only $15 on amazon
It will give you keys to activate on steam.
That $20 Skyrim is without the DLC. It is $40 for Legendary Edition which comes with all the DLC.
You can buy Skyrim Legendary Edition (Steam account still required) on Amazon for $20 instead, pretty much anytime (it's not a sale):
Initial comment was removed because I used Amazon's "share" link, which is a URL shortener - so there's the normal monster one.
Just to note on Jammy's comment about it frequently being on sale. If you are NA, it is on sale on Amazon atm (for NA, at least)
Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist :
Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist Deluxe :
The Bureau: XCOM Declassified - Premier Pre-order Partner :
Saint’s Row IV :
Final Fantasy XIV Collector’s Edition:
Final Fantasy XIV Standard Edition:
As always, let me know if you have any questions.
$20 for XCOM, Civ5 and Civ4, bots wouldn't let me post it anywhere else.
Note that Amazon is selling Civ V Gold (which is all the DLC + the first expansion), plus Civ IV complete, plus XCOM: Enemy Unknown for $20. Link here.
Somewhat a better deal than just plain Civ V for 7.50, especially since the expansion is a huge upgrade.
I'm not big into FPS but I like story-based, RPG, and strategy games. I don't know if you'll like any of these but they're worth checking out.
My personal favorites...
I've heard good things about these games...
If you like multiplayer, you could try these...
Yes, Here: http://www.amazon.com/The-Elder-Scrolls-Skyrim-Legendary-Edition/dp/B00CJ7IUIQ
Currently OoS but Amazon sells it for $20
Base game with 30 days game time (select which platform)
Heavensward which you don't need till lvl 50 or if you want the Au Ra race (select platform)
Approx $40 total or $20 now w/30 days of game time and $20 once you reach 50.
>Do they ever go on sale on Steam or anywhere else?
Every Steam Sale you can get Morrowind and Oblivion GOTY for like $5, Skyrim Legendary is usually around $7.49.
It goes on sale more times a year than I can count. But you can also get the Elder Scrolls Anthology, it has EVERY Elder Scrolls from Arena to Skyrim and all DLC for Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim.
It also comes with new and updated maps for Tamriel, High Rock/Hammerfell, Morrowind, Cryodill, and Skyrim (fair warning, this map isn't as good as the map that came with Skyrim, which was made with a thicker paper).
I'd say go for the Elder Scrolls Anthology if you want every game, or wait till the next sale on Steam.
I just use prepaid cards for subs. That way I never have a billing issue for that.
I know Amazon has a 60 day card, I'm sure you can also find one at a convenience store or something where they sell prepaid cards for digital stuff if you're in the US. I know the Wal-Mart near me has them.
The price on Gamersgate.com has gone up to $16.98 USD but it's been (temporarily?) price matched at Amazon.com for $9.99 USD (both will activate on Steam).
Here you go.
Isn't that just a normal copy of Halo 2 on windows that can still be purchased today? While yes, it would be nice, that is just Nelson showing off how the surface tablet can game. I really doubt Halo will be coming any time soon.
Pretty sure it is
Use the original product page: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00178630A
Oh, but then you wouldn't get your referral bonus, would you??
Diablo 3 base is also on sale for $19.99
Here is the physical version that I bought. I have downloaded, played stress tests and will have headstart access. I also get the heros band. They sent me a code the day after I pre-ordered the game and been in stress tests ever since. I think your info is a bit wrong.
delivery estimate: August 28, 2012
The big CK pack (CK+CK2+DLC) is also back on Amazon for $14.99
futureshop link here as well: http://www.futureshop.ca/en-CA/product/diablo-iii-reaper-of-souls-pc-mac-english/10207576.aspx
been waiting for this to drop ever since I missed out on the black friday deal. note that for both websites, free shipping requires a $25 purchase so you need to add a filler or something else to get the free ship. you can however do an in-store pickup without the $25 minimum purchase.
the base game (19.99) and RoS collector's edition (39.99) are also on sale, both BB and FS.
edit: doh got the % wrong in the title... it's 55% off
edit 2: sale ends Mar 26 (Thursday).
edit 3: amazon.ca also has RoS on sale for 19.99. if you have prime, it's a better idea since you'll get it faster + no minimum for free shipping. but if you don't, you still have to do a minimum $25 purchase.
You can save a lot of money by getting the FFXIV + Heavensward bundle for $30, digital copy.
MAKE SURE YOU CLICK "BUY DIGITAL: $29.98" BELOW THE "PLATFORM" CHOICE BOX
This bundle is the best option, otherwise you'll be paying like 20 bucks for the main game, then another 20-30 for the expansion.
You can also buy Blizzard balance as well. I did that when Blizzard was having trouble processing credits cards when BfA preorder came out. They have $20 and $50 options
Palace of the Dead is a randomly generated dungeon that you do 10 floors at a time. It uses an independent leveling system, so the levels you gain inside the palace don't directly affect your levels outside the palace. After each set of 10 floors is completed, you gain a large chunk of experience towards that class (Between levels 30 and 50 you will gain upwards of half a level worth of experience for one set of 10 floors).
You can choose to go in as just the two of you alone, or if you can get matched up with two other random people to go in as a party of four. There's no particular benefits of going in with less than four people, but you'll still be able to clear it for the most part.
I just got a 60 day time card off amazon and it did count towards this Promo! https://amzn.com/B00O15486W this is the link to the time card I got.
It was a digital code for the 60 days. So get your game time for FFXIV and the promo!
You don't need to purchase to try it out. There's a free trial.
Here's a hard copy of the base game + expansion, best deal I could find. You just missed a 50% off sale from the Square Enix store that happens semi-frequently.
It's worth noting that wherever you purchase from, there's a Steam version and a SE version. Steam version lets you pay through Steam Wallet. Whichever version you buy, you need the same one if you buy the expansion.
I recently went back to FFXIV and the amount of content there is truly staggering, especially when you remember that ff14 and SWTOR were more or less contemporary games (launched around the same time)
If anyone would like a referral code for final fantasy 14, just PM me with an email to send it to and you get some swag and some free play time to try it out
edit: FWIW full game with x-pack is also on sale on amazon for $26
But we do have Halo...
God so many. Let me list my favorites. (All played on a 1ghz amd apu, so you should be able to play fine)
Turok 2: Seeds of Evil
Half Life 2
S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl
Sir, You Are Being Hunted
Deus Ex: Invisible War (To hell with all you losers who say this one sucks, this one is the best.
Prey (The first one)
Tons more but this should be enough for you for now.
You can still buy a new copy from Amazon.
Halo didn't start as an exclusive by the way. [Neither was Halo 2.] (http://www.amazon.com/Halo-2-Pc/dp/B000NV8F58/ref=sr_1_2?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1369426722&sr=1-2&keywords=halo+3)
http://www.reddit.com/r/halo/comments/s4zt6/play_halo_2_online_tutorial_and_faq/ this and also this
you need a copy of Halo 2 vista, then use the instructions in the video from the description to remove the Games for windows live software and install their custom launcher.
If you can't figure out how to buy it and gift it digitally, you can always do it the old fashioned way (it's $10 off on amazon).
Or you can buy it on Amazon and add to r/SC's prize pools.
If you don't want to support someone quietly adding their referral link, you can go here: http://www.amazon.com/Guild-Wars-2-Pc/dp/B001TOQ8X4/
Works on most
Amazon is matching most steam sales. Use the code "Gooncave" for another 15% off. It can only be used once though. So if you have used it already you are out of luck
Here are a few examples. There might be more
|Name|Price Before Code|Price After Code
|Dead Island Riptide | $20 | $18.50
|Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition | $7.50 | $6.37
|Grand Theft Auto IV|$5 | $4.25
|Tropico 4: Steam | $6 | $5.10
|Batman Arkham City GOTY| $7.50 | $6.37
| Mount & Blade: With Fire and Sword|$2.50 |$2.12
| Mark of the Ninja|$3.75 | $3.19
| Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Standard Edition | $3 | $2.55
Deus Ex: Human Revolution is $4.99 on Amazon.com, giving a saving of ~49p at current conversion rates.
Here are the deals that made me sad i wasn't born in the land of the free and the home of the brave:
Dark Souls: Prepare To Die Edition for just $4.99 (historical low price, though it was matched several times)
Empire: Total War for just $3.79 (historical low price is $3.74)
Total War: Shogun 2 - Fall of the Samurai for just $7.49 (historical low price, but it has been matched before).
Somewhere, an eagle is weeping for me.
Why not all of them?
Bought it myself, can confirm that everything works.
It's $15 this time, was $10 last time. Still a great deal though.
For those looking to get the digital download, here a tip:
DON'T BUY THE DIGITAL DOWNLOAD FROM THE SQUARE ENIX STORE!
Digital River, Square-Enix's distributor is awful and should be avoided as much as possible. The distributor has had a reputation of being very unreliable in the past. Even a moderator admit that they've had "plenty of issues" with them through the years.
After you make your purchase, you don't immediately don't get your game code. Aside from the "Thank you for your order. Your order is being processed and you will be notified of the result shortly" message after you confirm your purchase, you don't get even get as much as a confirmation email telling you that your order has been received. You will still get charged for your order. According to a Digital River support representative, they need between 24-72 hours to "review" your information... on a digital download, after they've charged you for the product. This might be fine in some instances (but it's still done in poor taste), if they informed you of the delays before your purchase. But alas that's not how they do things and SE doesn't seem to have taken any action to rectify this.
You can try to find your order at this site, but you might not find it if your order has not been reviewed (which can take more than two hours, according to reports from the SE forums). It's almost as if Square-Enix hates money -- with, partners like Digital River, no wonder they're struggling financially.
Even if you contact SE support, they'll just direct you to Digital River's support line. For those of who who have already ordered the digital download and have not received your game code (or even a confirmation email), you can call Digital River's customer support at 1-866-585-3251 or cancel your order by following the instructions.
If you or anyone you know would like to try FFXIV:ARR, while they might not offer the same discount, redirect them to any of these other sites (for you folks in North America). I've deal with the following or know people who have and I know that you won't have to deal with all the waiting and frustration with these distributors:
tl;dr: Don't buy digital products from the Square-Enix store, they use Digital River (their distributor) charges you and them makes you wait to get your game code. Save yourself the trouble and wait for it to go on else elsewhere.
$21 on Amazon US. Don't know how shipping works to outside the US, I know I can order from Amazon UK and have it shipped here though.
Also, 21GBP on Amazon UK. Maybe compare shipping and see which is a better deal?
Amazon Lightning Deal: The Elder Scrolls Anthology $14.99
It's like $7.50 on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Dark-Souls-Prepare-Edition-Online/dp/B00917DBUE/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1377796431&sr=8-2&keywords=dark+souls
Dark Souls, most definitely. All of the people I have convinced to purchase the game have clocked in around 90+ hours as well. Really well made game, aside from GFWL, not that it particularly matters in your case considering ping is a problem for you already and Dark Souls PVP is already always laggy (at least in my experience) regardless. It's also on sale on sale for $7.50 due to the huge Amazon sale going on. The DLC is fantastic, as well. Probably the best part of the game, in fact.
He's better off just buying the Legendary edition rather than each DLC separately
URL length doesn't matter if you use reddit code to make a hyperlink like this. Just put the text you want to show in brackets [Skyrim] and then the URL in parentheses (http://whatever-whatever) and don't put a space between the brackets and the parentheses ](
Amazon have a bundle with XCOM and Civ V (Gold Edition) for $20 if you want: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CPBZDPE/
See if this helps. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CPBZDPE/ref=s9_simh_gw_p367_d1_i1?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=11WZGYK4W2BHW65YYGFQ&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=1389517282&pf_rd_i=507846
Civ V Gold, Civ IV, and XCom all for $20. The codes unlock on Steam.
Just ordered the elder scrolls anthology from amazon. It comes with all 5 games and there expansions for 30 bucks http://www.amazon.com/The-Elder-Scrolls-Anthology-Pc/dp/B00E9I1FPI
The Elder Scrolls Anthology $44.98 + $3.99 shipping = $48.97
You can buy Battle.net gift cards?
What if I told you...that they both were already on PC, both over a decade now.
Insert Morpheus meme somewhere here
Hell there's even a established modding scene for Halo 1 & 2 on PC
And so May 2012 to December 2012 became the real beta-testing. Obviously the game's Not ready.
First days of Diablo 3, the Always-Online requirement failed many players because they cannot login the game "they rented". It sent them to rate Diablo 3 in Amazon.com with lots of ★☆☆☆☆
Good news! Amazon has HR for 16.99 for PC download and it activates on steam! They did have a sale earlier that HR was $10 and I picked it up then, but this isn't a bad deal.
was just on sale on Amazon for 50% off. The downloadable version still is!
Tomb Raider PC Download has now been price-matched with the Steam sale at $3.99 US.
No guarantees because the internet, but I've never had problems downloading things from CNET. If you're looking for pirated copies, then you introduce a wide variety of risks.
If, for some reason, you're skiddish about downloading a game but willing to spend money, you can buy a CD from Amazon which would be in a Halo box.
How the fuck is it still 20 dollars?
They're both still sold on Amazon, not sure why others are saying pirating is the only option.
Of course i'm not sure how well they'll run and what sort of unofficial fixes/patches you might need to get them playable.
Still, a port of MCC would be amazing.
Hey there :)
If you've got Halo Combat Evolved on PC, you can download Halo CE (that's custom edition) for free here. CE allows for more flexibility with regards to online play (custom maps, some of which have been modded) but lacks single player (although there are modded multilayer maps built for single-player use), which is made up by the Combat Evolved install.
Also remember to download the 1.0.10 patch before attempting to connect to the internet otherwise you won't be able to find any servers!
As for the Combat Evolved game, there are several ways to obtain a copy one of which is though Amazon. There are probably some other vendors selling it for cheaper but I don't know which would be best for you so I suggest you take a look yourself. Remember to keep a copy of your Combat Evolved product key as you will need it in order to instal CE.
There are, of course, other ways to obtain Combat Evolved, but I don't recommend it.
PM me if you need any more help :)
Here is a link to the battlechest, this is D2.
This looks like a viable D1 link
Seems like the Halo 2 topic was pretty active this week so.
ughhh this halo 2 online subject surfaces frequently. Heres the bottom line, a simple halo 2 pc amazon search will result in this, or you can buy this wherever youd like. Local gamestop problably wont have it but whatever. After you but this you install it on ure PC and you will be able to play ONLINE through whats called Windows Vista Games. This runs through the xbox live network. You WILL be able to play online against anyone just like you were playing it on your xbox years ago. You can setup a new gamertag or you can link it to your xbox live one if you already have. You can see your friends online and they will see u online(playing halo 2 PC) You DONT need an xbox live gold membership for online play. There are NO ranking systems or playlists, just custom games, usually only FFAs on lockout or midship. Its still fun though. As far as local mulitplayer(splitscreen) i havent tried it but im 90% sure it will work fine.
Well its 25$ on amazon right now : http://www.amazon.com/StarCraft-II-Wings-Liberty-Pc/dp/B000ZKA0J6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1371320601&sr=8-1&keywords=starcraft+2
Unless someone else can chime in, this is the lowest I've seen it. :/
Yea. I wouldn't expect that they have any obligation to do it, but it's worth a try. The way I look at it, neither ArenaNet, nor GamesRocket has a real blame for it. The only reason I suggest to ask ANet for help is that they might be able to do something. You might be right that there's some legal reason that will prevent them from doing it, but I think you're making an assumption. ANet claims that "when you buy a EU copy, you support your EU data center". Whether there's some regional market deal at play, who knows. I personally think they just struck up distribution deal in various countries, and nothing more than that. Some retailers like GMG sell both.
But before we crap all over GamesRocket for "mislabeling" their product and being misleading, I'd like to point out that most other retailer also don't label the regional restrictions. Let's look at a few English ones:
Guild Wars 2 Standard Edition Digital US", but then below in the description says "Guild Wars 2 Deluxe Edition Digital EU includes" : PASS? FAIL?
This isn't the regulated region locked DVD market that has an established standard where consumers should know about and where retailer know to post that information. I think online retailer should be clearer, yea. I don't know who's to blame, but I don't think anyone is legally at fault here, so we're left with one stranded customer that kinda feels screwed. I think he's ultimately to blame for his mistake.
On the flip side, is it reasonable to expect every buyer to go to the official website to learn about the region lock? Not really. So, if anyone could do anything, since the retailer already declined a refund, the only place to ask for help is ANet. Whether it will work, I don't know. But what I was suggesting is to ASK for help rather than merely ask the question whether he'll be able to play with his EU copy. Finding who's to blame won't get him anywhere, so better to admit the mistake and ask ANet for help if they feel included to do so. Business is messy, and sometimes you give a freebie to a client to keep them as clients. They could perhaps invalidate the serial and give him 50$ of gems on his account or some other compensation. Whether it creates a precedent is another story. I'd try anyway. What's there to lose?
Amazon has the BF3 download version currently for $30.
I bought it off Amazon for $14 dollars yesterday. Use the code "Gooncave" for the extra discount off the already low price.
Dark Souls is currently on sale on Amazon for $7.50! They're out of Steam codes presently, but they should be getting more. I bought it a few days ago and am loving the HELL out of it!
Here is the Dark Souls page. Just keep checking it to see when they get some more codes in. I think they might be expected tomorrow or Tuesday.
Edit: Don't forget to download the resolution fix for Dark Souls!
Edit2: Here's a current post of Amazon's MAYhem sale list
Here is a link to said sale.
I definitely recommend just going for that, then deciding if you want TOG (probably, it's really good despite some balance issues in 867).
That's pretty standard for the Special Edition. You might be able to get the Legendary Edition for cheaper on Amazon or somewhere else but it will require you to use Steam.
If you try to go cheaper than that, you'll be running into gray markets and scammers and stuff. Try to avoid being scammed.
A Realm Reborn for $10 - PC download
Heavensward Expansion for $20 PC download
Looks like they just didn't discount the combined package, so just buy both of these if you want the same thing through Amazon digitally at the discounted price.
The digital download sales have been suspended due to server issues. If you're concerned about being unable to play it, wait a week or so, or at least wait until this restriction's been lifted.
Normally I'd say "Hey if you're going to get the game anyway, you might as well buy a physical copy now", but if you buy now and can't play much for a week, you're burning part of your 30-day trial period and there's no guarantee Square's going to give a few days back in "compensation" for time lost yet. How much you care about that is up to you, really.
I ordered a physical copy, but only because Amazon doesn't allow redeeming Amazon Points (from their credit card) for digital game downloads.
Firaxis Complete Pack [Online Game Code] w/ EFF Tag -- $19.99
Repost of link since it's back up. Includes:
Great price considering the Steam prices list Civ V Gold Edition as $49.99 and XCom as $39.99. I think both had 75% off sales giving them a $12.49 and $9.99 price, respectively. If this is inaccurate, please correct me with proper pricing. This Amazon deal is cheaper and includes Civ IV on top of that.
Edit: Steam Comparison
It may be worth your time to wait for the Elder Scrolls Anthology to go on sale again. Picked it up for $20 and it has GOTY versions of all games and supposedly compatible versions of Arena and Daggerfall.
If the dlc are full price I would say wait for the anthology to come out. http://www.amazon.com/The-Elder-Scrolls-Anthology-Pc/dp/B00E9I1FPI
I found Skyrim with all the other elder scroll games on amazon for less than $40, including dlc. The later ones had steam codes too.
Amazon has it on sale again for $19.99
This is currently my cheapest.
I would <3 this
Thanks for the contest!
No sé si puedes comprar en tu lugar, hay "tarjetas" de subscripción en amazon y square enix online tienda.
I bought a game time card from Amazon for $30, because I'm already playing and the game time card is equivalent to the monthly cost anyway. Following this rather straightforward logic, I just got 6 exclusive items for basically continuing my subscription. I don't see why you can't do the same. That said...here's the maid outfit, because I'm not using it.
You could go to amazon and just purchase a digital code and redeem it onto your battle.net account since the code is delivered right away. http://www.amazon.com/Battle-net-Store-Gift-Card-Balance/dp/B012JMS4W2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1464616215&sr=8-1&keywords=battle.net+gift+card
Not directly, but you can always give a Battle.Net giftcard so the person can buy their own lootboxes.
Here's some more info about the redeemable items available on the Blizzard store.
On Amazon, when searching for Stormblood I saw a "Complete Edition" launching at the same time. I'd download the free trial for now, and preorder that.
[Here, a link.] (https://www.amazon.com/Final-Fantasy-XIV-Online-Complete-PC/dp/B071CMXD5H/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1495158576&sr=8-1&keywords=Stormblood%2Bcomplete&th=1)
Ugh this is the promotion tag:
Edit: For example, this:
the seller needs to be amazon, not a 3rd party seller.
A game like this also works:
As wonderful as FFXIV is as a game, please please keep your own real-world logistics as priorities, and enjoy the game responsibly. :)
If you bought CE on steam, you probably only bought the base edition of the game for what looks like $32 on steamprices. You did get some in-game cosmetic items, though.
Personally, I'd try to refund the CE on steam, and then buy the game from amazon, which has a good deal right now: https://www.amazon.com/Final-Fantasy-XIV-Heavensward-Reborn-Bundle/dp/B00UO4NL9Y This version does not have the fun in-game cosmetic items, but it does have the expansion (normally, buying the base game "ARR" and the expansion "HW" costs $20 each, for a total of $40).
This nets you more playable content if you decide to play, and you also save a bit of money!
I can more or less guarantee that you probably won't miss the in-game items the CE gives. And if you later decide, in a better financial state, that you do want them, you can pay the difference for them via Mog Station, the FFXIV account management site: https://secure.square-enix.com/account/app/svc/mogstation/
A few other things...
Depending on how many hours/wk you can play, I'd say 2 months is a pretty good amount of time to play it. The core story (it's a very story-based game, and the writing is excellent, especially later on) takes 70-100 hours to complete. Lategame gearing to the current patch takes 10-30 hours to complete. There's tons of other side content, and to briefly experience most of it will take another 100-200 hours. There's very grindy content that can easily last 200-400 hours if you're interested, but that's a niche thing.
I know I wrote a lot, so feel free to ask followup questions. :)
Edit: https://www.reddit.com/r/ffxiv/comments/63jqhp/psa_arr_and_heavensward_10_each_or_20_for_the/?st=j155273j&sh=6fa39554 Apparently Humble Bumble has it on sale at the moment!
There's the amazon link to the bundle you need to buy, it includes both ARR and Heavensward. All servers are cross platform so you can play with PS3/4 players as well as PC, you just have to have individual licenses if you decide to do both (Can't buy PS4 license and play on PC, for example).
The newest expansion, Stormblood, arrives in June and offers two new playable classes: Samurai and Red Mage. you will only be able to play these classes if you've purchased Stormblood, though.
Having access to Heavensward will give you the Au Ra race at the beginning, but you will not be able to play the Machinist, Astrologian, or Dark Knight jobs until you reach Heavensward content.
Right now you can play a free trial of FFXIV. The playtime is unlimited, but there are restrictions that are applied (can't level up past 30, etc).
Yo dude, I would highly recommend buying the game + expansion off Amazon! It's under $30 there, so you'd be paying over double by purchasing it on steam. Buying on amazon also lets you choose where you purchase further packs, if you purchase on Steam, you're restricted to only buying expansions from Steam.
Here's a link
Hey, thanks for complaining about this. You just saved me and some random guy $10. We were about to buy the physical copy for $27 xD
Did you buy yet? There is a deal on Amazon where you get the base game and heavensward for $30. Only con is it's a physical copy and you have to wait for shipping. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00UO4NL9Y/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1474864960&sr=8-2&pi=SY200_QL40&keywords=final+fantasy+xiv+heavensward
Amazon currently has the box copy of the combo pack (ARR + Heavensward) on sale for $29.99. It also qualifies for the summer promo items.
Note that the digital download is not on sale through Amazon and is currently $59.99. Make sure you pick the right one!
You could give him something like this. He then could use the money to buy gems.
Here's one with just the digital code, no shipping charges. Just give him the code to enter on battlenet and he'll have credit to buy gems with.
think they have the "complete version" of the game for 59.99 on amazon if you're playing PC, think they have the same thing for PS4
Edit: Found this for you if you needed/wanted
First off, have you played the trial yet? it's unlimited duration, but you are limited to level 35 on any class. if not, don't buy anything yet, play the trial.
you should buy ARR and Stormblood, as Stormblood includes all Heavensward, or buy the "Complete edition" That includes everything, but this will not be available until the 20th.
Edit: TL;DR: free trial, ARR+Stormblood if you get to level 35 before the 20th, otherwise just get the complete edition. Also don't get the steam version.
I saw on Amazon or SE shop (I can't remember) that they were selling a bundle to include all three for a discounted price.
A Realm Reborn is the base game (2.0).
Heavensward is the first expansion (3.0), you cannot purchase it separately, as the second expansion Stormblood (4.0) comes with Heavensward.
You want to either buy the complete edition, or A Realm Reborn and Stormblood.
My recommendation is to buy everything on Amazon for $40. Steam will be $60 and any future expansions will be more expensive on there and you will have no choice but to continue buying on steam.
looks like they still have them on amazon
honestly, you guys need to give Halo Online a shot too. It's an incredible game that needs more players
Halo: CE : http://www.amazon.com/Halo-Combat-Evolved-PC/dp/B00009TW6R/ref=sr_1_16?ie=UTF8&qid=1462622986&sr=8-16&keywords=halo
Halo 2 : http://www.amazon.com/Halo-2-PC/dp/B000NV8F58/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1462623010&sr=8-1&keywords=halo+2+vista
Maybe you mean this?
Just gonna put it out there but the first 3 Halo games did have pc versions.
Halo already came to PC.
I'd recommend buying it new here instead of risking Ebay or other vendors. Only $20.
After you get the CD, make a backup of your disc as an ISO file, as well as as backup of your CD key. Run updates, and you're ready to play campaign mode.
You should get Custom Edition as well. Follow the instructions on the site to make sure you have the latest version, then go nuts.
Not sure why this guy got downvotes.
Halo was definitely on PC.
Probably this and this.
Just buy halo 1 for PC. it's usually cheap and a lot of people still play, including me :P
Halo: Combat Evolved
LoD made huge improvements in the game like Runewords and other features. Although, as a 15 year old game, I'm sure both are on sale cheap somewhere. I see Amazon has both on sale for 13.60 http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0002BQN7Q/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_dp_ss_2?pf_rd_p=1944687502&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B00005A3I8&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=0D50RFTS9H45GJQTM3H9
I imagine you might even be able to find the battlechest cheaper at a place like G2A or other reseller.
Blizzard is notorious for this. Their games will occasionally be 50% off, but anything akin to Steam Sale prices are unheard of.
Warcraft 3 $20 (2002)
Diablo 2 $15 (2000)
Starcraft $19 (1998)
Some of my favorites...
AllMost of the Sim games (SimCity, its sequels and its sister games like SimTower). Avoid most of the post-EA Sim games like The Sims, SimCity Societies and Spore. There are good non-Maxis, SimCity-inspired games like Cities XL and Tropico. Worth checking out sincee the "real" Sim series has gone to shit lately.
Good Old Games and Steam are good resources for finding PC classics on the cheap as well as being patched to work on modern PCs (Windows 7 64-bit).
In case the link fails, google Diablo Battlechest
Amazon has the battlechest for $30, but note that this is the 'new version' that does NOT come with the original Diablo. Link Sadly, I've not seen any for $20.
Idk for sure about the Gold version but I can verify that both pirated versions and what you get from the "Battle Chest" work on 8.1
About the only option to the best of my knowledge...
Save $10, so there's that.
>A Pc Game ($25 max)
RIP. Diablo III
Thanks for the contest though! i know that a lot of people will enjoy this!
My favorite game is... Super Mario :p
Diablo 3 is cheaper over at amazon for 19,99$
The game is currently on sale at Amazon for $20 base game and $20 expansion. I think this is the lowest it has been.
Just a heads up, this isn't actually expired. Amazon is temporarily out of stock, but you can still order it at $19.99 and it'll ship in 2-4 weeks. You can add it to cart from here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B00178630A/ref=dp_olp_new?ie=UTF8&condition=new&qid=1394407880&sr=8-1

We need to find a better way of communicating with them.
For 1: Amazon has it for $40-ish.
I'm not too sure about 2 though, when you go to pick a server you can look at what it says for it, but I think most are either high or very high. You could also try looking at guilds on servers and seeing which ones have a large group that you may be interested in joining I guess. Playing with a guild is a lot of fun and many are pretty casual.
I buy video games and board games mostly. Since I have started I have bought
Guild Wars 2
Fall of Cybertron
Ravenloft Board Game
Lord of the Rings: the living card game
Wife is pregnant so I am using only beer money to buy the fun stuff right now. Putting my normal "fun shit" monthly portion of my pay check towards baby stuff now.
It's $30 on Amazon. Just sayin' ...
What platform, PC?
Pre-ordering this early is still a gamble as they haven't released much information about bf4 yet, despite the constant "confirmations" posted online. Also another thing to keep in mind is bf4 doesn't come out till October, which in my mind is a while to wait and, likely, you can find a way to have another spare 60$ on hand by then.
[15$ for bf3 on PC on amazon] (http://www.amazon.com/Electronic-Arts-40834ttlefield-32-Battlefield/dp/B005WWZUQ0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1370523102&sr=8-1&keywords=battlefield+3)
And GTA games go on sale on steam fairly often.
$30 on sale + $15 = $45...
Battlefield 3 is on sale here for $30.
The vanilla game With classics like Operation metro
Battlefield Premium Only a upgrade for the basegame, DON"T get it if you don't own BF3 vanilla
Premium edition If you don't have the basegame
Here are a bunch of games on sale at the moment (assuming you're on PC). Hopefully something sparks your interest.
Shadow Warrior $7.99
Tomb Raider $7.00
BioShock Infinite $7.49
Payday 2 $9.99
Not sure. They've already matched:
Might and Magic: Heroes VI
Sniper Elite Nazi Zombie Army
Age of Empires II HD
Borderlands 2 is sitting at $20 so it may not happen, but if you aren't in a hurry you have a day to decide, your call.
Tomb Raider 2013 is 1.75 on amazon.
in slight relation to your comment, i just picked up tomb raider off of amazon for less than 15 bucks using coupon code: 'GOONCAVE'
pretty good deal if you haven't picked it up yet.
along with the steam sales, amazon is apparently having some pretty good sales themselves
Here it is.. https://www.amazon.com/Dark-Souls-Prepare-Online-Game/dp/B00917DBUE
You can buy from Amazon if Steam is giving you trouble. Amazon is currently price matching most of Steam's sales. Use the promotional coupon GOONCAVE to save 15%. The code redeems on Steam just fine from personal experience.
Really? Which ones? The Amazon bundle has the same amount of DLC...
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B7UK2I2/ref=cm_sw_su_dp?tag=childsplaycha-20 better deal
They have Mark of the Ninja, reddit's Stealth Game of the Year 2012, on sale for $3.75. That's probably as low as it's going to go, so if you enjoy stealth games, it's a must-buy.
Crusader Kings II, the royalty simulator that has become a cult phenomenon thanks to how much it reminds people of Game of Thrones, is on sale for $9.99 (or you can get a complete pack with all the DLC for $15. If you're not intimidated by grand strategy games with somewhat steep learning curves, CKII is worth a try. If you already have CKII, it appears a lot of the DLC is on sale, as well.
Also, if you like being scared, Amnesia is only $3. Search for Amnesia reaction videos on YouTube if you're unfamiliar.
You can also buy the Legendary Edition and get it. You can get that for ~$20.
and Humble for good measure
Amazon is selling it for $27
Right now The Elder Scrolls Anthology is $20 on Amazon, so if you don't have the other games and don't mind waiting for it to ship you can get a really good deal, and as a bonus you get maps for each game. If you have the other games already you could also go with the Legendary Edition for $15, though you don't get the kick-ass maps with it.
Oh definitely start at Prince. I had very little experience with Civ (see previous comment) or really any similar games outside of Pharoah/Caesar and starting at Prince made it a lot more fun/challenging to start. Civ is REALLY boring if you start winning and stay winning (after like the first game...the first total domination game is pretty satisfying). And yes, wait for the epic sale! I actually got this for $20 recently (even though I already had most of IV and base V) http://www.amazon.com/Firaxis-Complete-Pack-Online-Game/dp/B00CPBZDPE which had IV and V complete and XCOM as well...great deal if you didn't have any of them. Unfortunately it's over, but keep an eye out on other sites besides Steam for good deals!
This bundle on Amazon is 20 bucks and includes the Civ 5 Gold Edition which covers all content currently available for the game (G&K, all DLC Civs, maps, etc.) as well as Civ IV and XCOM which are fantastic games. Brave New World is currently 27 bucks to preorder the downloadable version.
Elder Scrolls Anthology.
Only for PC as far as I know.
It's still on sale:
How is it ridiculous? Morrowind GoTY is $20 on Steam, Oblivion GoTY Deluxe is $25, and Skyrim Legendary Edition is $40. That all adds up to $85 and the one on Amazon is only $80 with free shipping.
just bought the anthology for $20 so this fits pretty well
Didn't that kinda happen already?
You sure they didn't just renew it for the huge boxed set that they released? Remember that? They had a huge package deal with all the TES games in one box. Had collectibles and all sorts of stuff. Redguard was in there. Might have been why they renewed it.
EDIT: It's called the Anthology: http://www.amazon.com/The-Elder-Scrolls-Anthology-Pc/dp/B00E9I1FPI
EDIT: I don't think Redguard is in there, actually. Weird.
People should also know the whole Elder Scrolls Anthology is only 28$ on Amazon. It comes with all DLC.
The whole anthology is on Amazon for $20. That's everything for skyrim, plus the older games too. It says "out of stock" though, so you'll get it within a few weeks after you order it. http://smile.amazon.com/The-Elder-Scrolls-Anthology-Pc/dp/B00E9I1FPI?sa-no-redirect=1
EDIT: if that's too rich for your blood, you don't want to wait quite that long, and you just want skyrim, the legendary edition is $14: https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrim/comments/30jdyu/the_elder_scrolls_v_skyrim_legendary_edition_pc/
I don't know about starting with Morrowind honestly. It's definitely a hard game and it turned me away from the series for a little bit before I picked up Oblivion and loved it. Skyrim is amazing as well but I would suggest starting with Oblivion.
edit: this is a damn good deal
If you want to play all the games, start with Morrowind, then Oblivion, then Skyrim. It's harder to go back once you've played a newer game.
You can get the anthology for $30 http://smile.amazon.com/Elder-Scrolls-Anthology-Pc/dp/B00E9I1FPI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1426092746&sr=8-1&keywords=elder+scrolls+complete
I definitely wouldn't buy any of the games from Steam unless they're on sale.
Keep an eye out as price often goes up and down... grabbed mine from Amazon within 2 months of release for $30. It is currently $33.19 on Amazon http://www.amazon.com/Diablo-III-Reaper-Souls-Pc/dp/B00FENJVOE
The expansion is also on sale, I included it in it's own post and also have a link
HERE. Same deal, PC, physical copy. I've never seen this go for less than ~$30 combined for base+expansion.
Gamestop's is physical. If you're looking for just a digital code you get immediately, I recommend Amazon.
EDIT: Here's the link. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00O15486W/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_U-AhAbW90NYDK
even qualifies for the bonus item promo codes
This has the promo listed on the pagejust like the $20 PSN digital code, but unsure if it will work as I have not tested it.
You sure can.
E: However, you do get a discount if you subscribe on the Mogstation for 90 or 180 days at once.
E2: If you do the Basic sub on the mogstation, which is fine for most people, it's also cheaper even month-to-month, but you don't get a discount for longer subs.
You could buy and use game time cards rather than going straight through mogstation.
If you can toss in an extra 5$ for this (WARNING: GFWL!!!) and are patient, this is an amazing buy. (You REALLY want to use a controller though)
> You say it's in small print on Amazon, but it's located right under the picture where you can easily read it.
Funny you should say that, I missed it entirely when I first loaded the page. Amazon has identical boxes like that on all of their pages typically about a "deal."
I went straight down into the product description section, then went up to the technical details, neither of which have it, and then I searched "Note 3" to discover that box.
> It's also the same font size as the rest of Amazon site.
Yes exactly the same. It is so the-same that it doesn't stand out at all. It should be a big red warning box or similar.
Check out this random page:
Look at the "IMPORTANT NOTICE" in bold at the top of the page.
Or this page:
Look at the "NOTE" section at the top of the page AND in the product description in bold.
I can list more examples but my point is that Samsung aren't warning people very well and they're getting a lot of returns as a direct result. You can blame Amazon if you want, but Samsung could have put it in the product description.
Its $7.50 on Amazon Unless you meant the console version
Have you seen that it's currently $7.50 on Amazon? It's out of stock at the moment but the manager Tony has promised that it will be coming back before the MAYhem sale ends on the 31st.
[7.50 on Amazon] (http://www.amazon.com/Dark-Souls-Prepare-Edition-Online/dp/B00917DBUE/ref=br_lf_m_1000716161_1_1_img?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&pf_rd_p=1557128042&pf_rd_s=center-10&pf_rd_t=1401&pf_rd_i=1000716161&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=0417D9RQGA2DNVZB7XQW)
This is perfect! My original DS finally gave up the ghost on me (my cat knocked it off my dresser one too many times.) I don't need Rhythm heaven, I just need to get back to my Pokemon Pearl Save.
Crusader Kings 2 Is definitely my favorite video game. I've logged over 750 hours in the last year or so.
Amazon often puts bundles of these games on sale, too, though it doesn't look as if they're there yet this time. If you want to keep an eye on them, though:
Crusader Kings Pack - Crusader Kings Complete, Crusader Kings 2, and most if not all of the pre-Old Gods/Norse CK2 DLC
Paradox War Chest - Achtung Panzer Kharkov 1943, Gettysburg: Armored Warfare, Hearts of Iron III Collection, King Arthur Collection, King Arthur 2, Victoria 2 + A House Divided
Paradox Majesty Bundle - Defenders of Ardania + DLC, Majesty Gold, Majesty 2 + DLC, Warlock: Master of the Arcane + DLC
Paradox Seas Bundle - Commander: Conquest of the Americas + Colonial Navy, East India Company Collection, Naval War: Arctic Circle, Pirates of Black Cove + Origins, Ship Simulator Extremes, Victoria 2 + A House Divided
Plentiful Paradox Package - Crusader Kings 2, Magicka Collection + The Stars Are Left, Sword of the Stars Complete, Sword of the Stars 2 Enhanced, Victoria 2
When these do go on sale, they're typically priced between $15 and $25. No guarantee that they will during this sale, but they have pretty regularly in the past, so they're probably worth watching anyway if you're interested in these games. I'm not a fan of the Seas bundle, but the other four are all great packages. Most of them provide Steam keys.
Link for the lazy
do not buy that version. The complete pack is $15 and contains Ck1 + CK2 + All the DLC
You can't just say this without providing a link.
Lately, it seems as though Paradox has been putting their games on sale for 75% off. I managed to get EUIII during their Memorial Day sale; Crusader Kings 1+2, Paradox War Chest and Paradox Majesty Franchise during the Amazon MAYhem Sale.
Defenders of Ardania is fun for a while, but it gets old and repetitive after a while; pretty "meh" for a tower defense game.
Majesty 2 is an alright game, but if the first one was on sale I'd recommend that one instead.
(I got the Majesty bundle for Warlock.) edit: Warlock and its DLC are on sale, though not listed on the OP.
King Arthur is a pretty solid game. I didn't get a chance to install King Arthur II yet, so I cannot compare it to the original.
I don't even think the Gettysburg multiplayer servers are even up, so you might as well pass on that one.
(I got the War Chest for Victoria II and Hearts of Iron III.) edit: Hearts of Iron II + III and their DLC are also on sale, though not listed on the OP.
I'll back up what MrPuffin is saying. I just purchased the Crusader Kings Pack through Amazon for $14.99 and received Steam activation codes for Crusader Kings 1 Complete, Crusader Kings II, and all the Crusader Kings II DLC (except the newest DLC The Old Gods, Hymns To The Old Gods, Norse Portraits, and Norse Unit Pack, which are not included in this bundle). I was able to successfully activate all of it on Steam.
There is a legendary edition: https://www.amazon.com/Elder-Scrolls-Skyrim-Legendary-PC/dp/B00CJ7IUIQ
And yes it will unlock all the dlc.
No, you can preorder it on the US Amazon here http://www.amazon.com/video-games/dp/B00CJ7IUIQ. It releases 3 days earlier in the US than it does in the UK.
Thanks to /u/Drew-fish I can say the best deal appears to be through Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Elder-Scrolls-Skyrim-Legendary-PC/dp/B00CJ7IUIQ
You can get the Legendary Edition for $20 on Amazon now.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CJ7IUIQ/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_dp_ss_1?pf_rd_p=1535523722&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B004HYIAPM&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=0985SPFZACRB3P04TZ6G Ah Hem. Cough Cough.
Meanwhile in Canada...
You can get the Legendary Edition (physical copy w/Steam activation) for $15 off of Amazon right now. I think the cheapest the LE has gone for on Steam is $12.49. So, if you'd rather not wait for a sale you can get it now for an extra $2.50. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00CJ7IUIQ
> PC version of the game is currently on sale on Amazon!
link Dude, seriously. Thank you
Final Fantasy 14 is 60% on Sale ($9.99)
Both Hard and soft copy
I am playing the free trial and I am considering purchasing the game for the first time. The official site lists the base game as $30, but on Amazon I see this $20 code available: https://www.amazon.com/Final-Fantasy-XIV-Reborn-Download/dp/B00CMSCV4Q Is there a difference between the $30 version and the $20 version?
The discounts are on the amazon product page: http://www.amazon.com/Final-Fantasy-XIV-Reborn-Download/dp/B00CMSCV4Q/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1376847491&sr=8-2&keywords=ffxiv
You get them automatically when you preorder, you don't have to do anything special. As far as using the code goes, I doubt Amazon really has any way of tracking it. Even if it is an issue I'll talk to Amazon's customer support and explain the problem, their customer service is usually really good at handling refunds in my experience.
Amazon có chứ, đây này: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CMSCV4Q/ref=twister_B00CX9L30W?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I am still on the trial, just got my lvl 30 BLM last night. Was waiting for deals and promotions. Is this the best way to purchase the game at the moment?
Anyone know why the Firaxis complete pack rose from $20 (it's previous pricing) to $30.
civ 5 gold has all dlc.
amazon has civ 4+5 gold+xcom for $20 http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CPBZDPE/ref=cm_sw_su_dp?tag=ablegamers-20
you should get this version:
It's actually on sale on amazon bundled with Civ IV and Civ V for $20 at this very moment.
If you do not have the game already you may want to check the deal on Amazon out. You get Civ 5 Gold Edition which is everything released thus far for Civ 5+ Civ 4 Complete and XCOM: Enemy Unknown which is a pretty decent game as well especially if you turn up the difficulty.
If Civ 4 and XCOM do not interest you, you can buy Civ 5 Gold Edition by itself for $12.49 compared to the normal $49.99 that it would be elsewhere. This is of course Steam redeemable as it is a Steamworks game.
Magicka is incredibly fun, I was actually just playing that. Right now, it's $2.50 on Amazon, because of their Mayhem sale (heheh punny). Also, Borderlands is fun which is also on sale on amazon. I'll give you a free copy of Dota 2, I have way too many and already have it. I bet FC3 is a bit out of the price range, but I strongly recommend that, too.
I also added you as a friend (18hockey)
Links 'n stuff (I own all these):
All of these are on sale and are a HUGE deal IMO. I mean, BL GOTY and BL2 for $20 is amazing. If you don't have that much money, buy the Borderlands pack and Magicka, those three are amazing games, and really fun on multiplayer.
you can get civ for cheap here
Amazon has a pretty good packdeal right now.
i think this is a good deal.
but i heard you can only buy it within america or you have to fake the adress.
As for Bioshock Amazon is having a deal here, And Civ5/Xcom here.
AMAZON! I love amazon.
thats it US
Holy shit. That really is ridiculous. Thanks for the tip!
Last time I was at Target they had the Elder Scrolls Anthology for $39.99. I bought it for $29.99 on black Friday or whatever, but it's usually $49.99 I think. Anyway, includes everything from 1 - 5 and is a physical copy which I prefer.
Edit: Well Amazon has a few left in stock at even cheaper. Amazon Link It's not a bad buy to get all of them for PC.
Do you know of the Elder Scrolls Anthology? It costs more but you get so much!
I rather grab the Elder Scrolls anthology for 14 up at best buy.
Or if you want to suffer a heartbreak, amazon has it for 20 bucks: http://www.amazon.com/The-Elder-Scrolls-Anthology-Pc/dp/B00E9I1FPI
Hope you didn't buy yet. Amazon has Elder Scrolls Anthology for $21.00. Best Buy has it for even cheaper, but you might have to pick it up in-store.
I bit the bullet at Amazon for the Anthology: http://www.amazon.com/Elder-Scrolls-Anthology-Pc/dp/B00E9I1FPI/
Currently sitting at $21 (plus shipping if you don't have Prime or if your total order isn't over $35). Not the lowest its been these past few days, but it still seems like it's worth it since you get the physical discs, a Steam key to Morrowind/Oblivion/Skyrim and ALL of the DLC's (as far as I can tell), and a few physical maps.
The Elder Scrolls Anthology, with Arena, Daggerfall, Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim (and expansions), is always cheap on Amazon.
I feel pretty sorry for anyone who has paid $15 or more for Skyrim when the Anthology has gone for $14.99 before and is always under $30 for ALL of the games.
It was just on sale on Steam last month so probably not any time soon. Also, if you can find it, the Elder Scrolls Anthology is usually cheaper and includes Arena, Daggerfall, Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim with most of not all of the expansions.
Also, check Wal-Mart locally since they have a good price on the Anthology too
I know you said he plays ps3 but if he has a computer that is good enough this is a fantastic deal that just popped up.
Skyrim is the hardest to run technologically so everything else should be a breeze if he can run that
WHY ARE YOU YELLING DIRECTIONS AT US!
Diablo on my Champagne Tastes List: because this game makes me ridiculously happy and ADDING things to this game is so exciting for my little nerd self.
Army Wives on my DVD list is one of my highest: because that show rocks my boring little world.
Shoes on my Expensive Needs list: because I need to lose weight and I need shoes to do it in since I have a new exercise bike and my best friend and I learned walking around the track at night is actually freaking fun!
Monopoly on my PS3 list: because it's Monopoly o.o
A Gummy Bear Light: on my default Spluring List because it's neat, and pink, and a light, and I just think it's neat honestly.
Ps: I thought your linked item was a roll of paper towels until I read your description >.>
This and this
Is this what you're looking for?
I got my d3 and ros quite a few years ago from gamestop but I dont think they carry it anymore
Amazon has it on sale right now for $30
it's currently on sale on Amazon for $29.99
i know it may not be as low as black friday deals, but it may be low enough for you!
You will get legendary that matches your level, but honestly it's not worth it. Just get to max level ASAP. The end-game meta is highly dependent on level 70 (RoS max level) gear. These are specific items/sets that you do not get in original Diablo 3. But if you've played any Diablo games, you know that getting to max level is really when the game starts. With 2.2 on the horizon, the amount of new 7 piece sets and legendary items will keep growing and you will be missing out on an insane amount of content w/o the expansion. Just found a link for RoS which is currently on sale at Amazon for $28
You can probably find physical copies cheaper.
For example, Amazon has the expansion on sale for $25. The question you have to answer is: is waiting a couple days for shipping worth $15 for you?
But Blizzard is the #1 test on whether a digital site is a legit seller or not, because Blizzard and only Blizzard is allowed to sell Blizzard products digitally.
As others have said here, PC version with the expansion is the way to go. Dunno if it factors into your purchase or not, but Amazon currently has hard copies of the base game expansion for 50% off. You'll have to wait for them until March 6th and 7th respectively if I read correctly, but that's a grand total of $40 and well worth it.
US only: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FENJVOE
RoS for $29.99 ($10 off original price)
That's the Digital version for $30.
that’s how i go about it. it says PC specifically but works for ps4 as well (ps4 player here).
can alternatively purchase it using real-world money converted to the currency on mog station but i never did it that way.
60 Day Time Card:
Under the listing it says:
> Special Offers and Product Promotions
> * Spend $19.99 or more in the Amazon Video Games Category to receive six exclusive in-game items for "Final Fantasy XIV." You will receive your code by email within 2 business days. Here's how (restrictions apply)
So that would be a "yes". :)
Here you go.
Edit: And here's a screen-grab of my checkout screen. Make sure you have the "DLC promotion" under qualifying offers.
Buying a 60-day time card does count. Just make sure it gives a link to the promo on the page of the time card you are buying (like this one). The items are given to all characters on your account.
I bought a 60 day time card from amazon and after I punched it in, I automatically got the vet rewards for 30 and 60 day. So time cards for sure will unlock your vet rewards right away.
I'm not sure what you mean by steam gift cards. AFAIK, I only paid for the steam base product, and my subscription is maintained strictly in mogstation through my SE account.
EDIT: I went into my mogstation account and found a button that allows you to use steam payment. It's right next to add a time card button.
This is the time card that I bought: https://www.amazon.com/Final-Fantasy-XIV-Online-Time/dp/B00O15486W
Aren't you able to purchase a time card from amazon or another retailer like that? I know this doesn't solve the bigger problem (support itself and your blist ip) but at least it is a bandage that will allow you to continue to enjoy the game. Sorry if I missed something about why you arent using the time card in your post, I just woke up and I am not fully awake yet. Good luck!
no need, I'm glad to help =) its this one! https://www.amazon.com/Final-Fantasy-XIV-Online-Time/dp/B00O15486W
It'll show for us Brazilians as currently unavailable, you need to make an account with an US address (needs to be an account with just an US address, you can't add a new address to your BR account), then you'll be able to buy it. You also need to use an international credit card.
you can buy gametime cards and that counts.
Which timecard? Just this?
You can skip the 30 day wait period by getting a 60 day gamecard from Amazon.
At the top above Add to Cart, they say either:
Ships from and sold by Amazon.com. Gift-wrap available.
Sold by Amazon Digital Services LLC
And note that just above the Product Description, all of them say:
Special offers and product promotions
Any video game purchase of $19.99 or greater on Amazon.com will qualify you to receive an Amazon promotional code that will grant you three exclusive pieces of DLC for Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood! Codes will be sent within 48 hours of purchase. Here's how (restrictions apply)
That's what you need to look for. Most (but not all) new games or time card will be eligible. If the game is old, and no longer being published by the original company, it's probably going to come from a third-party and not be eligible.
You can get a $30 FFXIV game time card! :)
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00O15486W/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1495379701&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=ffxiv+time+card&dpPl=1&dpID=51tOZ8wJmIL&ref=plSrch Here you go buddy! This is where I buy them
For PC: To start playing you need just A Realm Reborn, which will grant you all content from 1-50 including the 2 years of patch content before Heavensward released. The only thing you will be missing out on is creating an Au Ra character that you can start the game as from level 1.
Then you need Heavensward, which grants access to the 50-60 content, with the new land (6 zones), 3 new jobs and the 2 years of Heavensward patch content. It also lets you either make an Au Ra character, or change your character's race to an Au Ra.
There is also a bundle where you may buy both the base game and the expansion together, but there is no bundle with Collector's Edition goodies.
You will need both collector's editions if you want all the digital goodies, or you can buy upgrades to both editions in order to get them, whenever you choose to.
On Steam it looks exactly the same. The only downside is that you are bound to buy everything on Steam and the box edition codes will not work with Steam. This makes it hard if you wish to have the physical collector's editions as their codes will not work with the Steam version and you would need to buy the collector's box and the Steam upgrade for Stormblood, for example.
It's the same as on PC, except the digital PSN codes and the box editions codes can be mixed and matched without issues.

Now is a good time as any to get back in! The new expansion is slated for June 20th, so you have plenty of time to get caught up.
Accounts are cross-platform, so if you simply resub your old account and log in with it on PC, your Black Mage should be there.
Edit: As the other two have pointed out, you have to get a license for PC as well. This will also include 30 days. Look for "Final Fantasy XIV Online" bundle deals, you can usually find one for $20 somewhere. Here it is on Amazon ($30 currently)
Linking a bundle with both the game and expac included below that is only $50. You will want to have the expac around the same time you hit level 50 at the latest, that way you get exp while doing the lvl 50 story missions. For an MMO ffxiv has a great story but the longevity in the game comes from doing end game content with the people that you meet in game. Whether that is raid, crafting, questing, or w/e, the people you are playing with will mainly be doing things that require you to be max level as a group. FFXIV is a story driven mmo, but you will always need to have the latest expansion to get a good and fulfilling experience from an MMO since that is where people will be spending their time.
Keep in mind that this was after a 30 second google search, if you shop around and wait time it right you will likely be able to get both for 30 or 40 bucks.
the pc version and the ps4 version are treated as separate entities in mogstation. there is no way around buying both copies of the game. once in the game though, there is no difference besides control scheme.
https://www.amazon.com/Final-Fantasy-XIV-Heavensward-Reborn-Bundle/dp/B00UO4NL9Y/ref=sr_1_3?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1466193019&sr=1-3&keywords=ffxiv+heavensward -- i would start here
What's the deal with this? Is this the same?
I recently purchased the Heavensward + ARR retail bundle off of Amazon. It seems to fluctuate in the USD$25~30 range. The same version is available from SE's store for $30. I didn't see any bundle similar to this on Steam.
As far as I am aware Amazon (with Prime membership) is the cheapest I have found at about $27 for base game plus Heavensward physical for PC.
My friend posted a similar thing from Amazon lol. It seemed like a pretty good deal so I went and bought it. He was like get the digital copy and I was thinking I might as well get the DVD because download times and Amazon Prime.
(My apologies for not stripping out the tags; I didn't even know referral was a thing so please excuse my ignorance.)
Can find digital codes on Amazon as well. If you are not looking for physical cards.
You can buy $20 digital cards there with your amazon codes (you need to make a fake US account first if you don't have one already)
Is there a difference between battle.net cards and Blizzard Balance? I haven't paid for anything on Battle.net this way for a long time.
But i'm 100% sure either way for 7/11 because I saw one there today, said Blizzard Balance on it.
Edit: had the same appearance as this one on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Battle-net-Store-Gift-Card-Balance/dp/B012JMS4W2
You can give to your friends Battle.net Gift Cards and you can buy it (digitals) in HERE
The regular Blizzard gift cards can also be bought digitally for your friends via Amazon.
You can send the digital codes to your friends as gifts - no need to even buy a piece of paper for it!
I've bought this from Amazon for a friend's birthday, what they do is give you a digital code which your friend uses to add a $20.00 balance to their battle.net account. edit: should note that there's no physical item that goes along with this, it's just a digital purchase.
If you're in the US/NA
| Physical | Digital |
| Amazon has ARR only (No HW) for $16.71* (free shipping if you got prime)| FFXIV ARR + HW Bundle @ 29.98 as Digital PC
Then buy Stormblood from any outlet you prefer be it digital or physical. After launch, Stormblood purchases would include Heavensward.
Cheaper to go the physical route because the Stormblood expansion will be 40 USD
Or get the full bundle for 60 USD about 4 USD (But you may break even with shipping costs if you don't have prime) more expensive but you get everything digitally either on PC or PS4.
Keep in mind, the PC edition is not Steam, if that matters to you if you're a PC player.
Hey! The free trial can be played without buying the base game. Also I believe I found the all in one pack you are looking to buy! https://www.amazon.com/Final-Fantasy-XIV-Stormblood-Complete-PC/dp/B071CMXD5H/
Is that what you wanted?
What is the cheapest way to buy the game (+expacs) on pc? is this the cheapest? complete edition for $47.99?
Which noob server should i start on? (i saw something about gold and feathers when you start?)
I will offer the recruit bonus to anyone who is willing to answer my questions.
Edit: recruit bonus went to Quinzelette because they were the first response.
Thank you for the answers guys! I've ordered the Amazon game and am excited to upgrade my free trial!
You don't need expacs right away to enjoy the game, but the value of buying it all at once makes it a decent proposition. It looks like Amazon still has it for $48 with Prime.
No; you can be a girl, but to get a dick you need to use mods. I use a mod that turns "The Emperor's New Breeches", an item you can use to transform other legwear to look as if you're not wearing it, into the futanari legs model; the regular unequipped character model is just a nude mod.
The game is not free; you can get the complete edition with the base game, the first expansion Heavensward, and the second expansion Stormblood, on Amazon for $48. https://www.amazon.com/Final-Fantasy-XIV-Online-Complete-PC/dp/B071CMXD5H?th=1
Shadowbringers, the third expansion, is coming on July 2. If you're interested, FFXIV plays very similarly to World of Warcraft.
You linked him to the Xbox version, here is the PC version
Also, here is Halo 2, its a bit pricey and probably will not work.
1 and 2 are on PC.
It's a sub-title. You're going to have to learn what that means before getting out of middle school.
On google itself is also titled with the full name, Halo: Combat Evolved https://www.google.com/#q=halo+combat+evolved
It is also marketed as "Halo: Combat Evolved" on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Halo-Combat-Evolved-PC/dp/B00009TW6R
It's named everywhere as Halo: Combat Evolved. You're wrong, no one will ever agree with you, and you're gunna have to deal with that, sorry.
May have to wait a year on the second one though.
Looks like it. A bit pricey for its age, though.
There only on amazon not that hard to find
Also if you are getting Halo 1 + 2 You have to get Custom edition for Halo CE and Project contingency for Halo 2 they really make the games multiplayer part. Also Halo CE requires an update from Bungie called update 1.10 its entirely free and easy to find by just searching "Halo CE PC update"
Yes, it is.
Amazon link to Halo PC
I also believe that Halo 2 had a PC version as well.
I don't think you can just download them, but here:
Halo 2: http://www.amazon.com/Halo-2-Pc/dp/B000NV8F58/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1345048165&sr=8-1&keywords=halo+2+pc
Halo CE: http://www.amazon.com/Halo-Combat-Evolved-Pc/dp/B00009TW6R/ref=sr_1_1?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1345048204&sr=1-1&keywords=halo+CE+pc
From the back of your Halo PC case. Don't have a copy of Halo?
Just buy the game?
Halo 1: http://www.amazon.com/Halo-Combat-Evolved-PC/dp/B00009TW6R
Halo 2: http://www.amazon.com/Halo-2-PC/dp/B000NV8F58
Depends what you mean by that. If you're going to be spending money you might as well buy the whole game, yeah. I highly recommend you buy a NEW copy which you can do here:
Buying a used copy could be a bad idea because its CD key could have been leaked on the internet and rendered invalid, or the previous owner may have lost it.
Note that if you buy the game you don't have to bypass anything.
Oh you wanted a download.... I'm not sure. a legitimate version exists.
Just buy a copy. Look, it's 20 bucks on Amazon
The battle chest is available on Amazon for $29.99.
I would say yes. I started with Diablo 2, had a great time, then tried Diablo 1. D1 I think is much more difficult, and more scary to me because of the dark graphics. You can still purchase Diablo 1, but I don't know how it would install on Vista or 7 (at the time I had XP). You probably would want the Diablo Battle Chest.
I don't have an extra but this: http://www.amazon.com/Diablo-Battlechest-new-version-PC-Mac/dp/B0002BQN7Q
It's a pretty damn good deal with free shipping.
There's this http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0002BQN7Q?cache=9448dc7784310027f730869869aa0a94&pi=SX200_QL40&qid=1406832577&sr=8-1#ref=mp_s_a_1_1
The only Halo with a pc port is the original halo 2 as Microsoft uses it as a selling point for Xbox. Although, the new games are coming to Windows but is being pushed through Windows own storefront for the time being.
Edit: Halo 2 on Windows https://www.amazon.com/Halo-2-PC/dp/B000NV8F58 although I think you will find it impossible to run on anything later than Vista
Edit 2: Halo 1 has a pc port as well
Halo 2 actually did come to PC...
exactly like fallout 3,
Digital Download negative, as at the time digital retailers where not too common.
Amazon physical copy though, Absolutely:
Cost: 19.32 Before tax.
Also, 67 cents lower than Xbox, Take that you filthy peasants
I bought it in a best buy years ago, and the price has been going /up/ ever since: but who cares, here ya go.
Problems: games for windows live.
Not problems: I once spent six hours in a one on one deathmatch with a korean college student (taking english class) teaching her every curse word I know of in english, french and spanish.
$20 for a new copy. Online still works.
EDIT: Games for Windows Live, though. :/
EDIT2: And it's exclusively for Vista.
What do you mean released again? You can go and buy it now. If anything they should be making more recent Halo games on PC.
This might be a bit of an obscure site, but Amazon.com has it.
If you know where to look, as it is a year old game. http://www.amazon.com/Starcraft-II-Wings-Liberty-Pc/dp/B000ZKA0J6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1318255458&sr=8-1
Seriously? A check on Amazon quickly disproves this. Not to mention it was $30 in January on Newegg.
> Neither does citing 1 game that was $60 to some people.
Yes, it does prove the point. I am not arguing that all PC games cost $60 for everyone at every time. I am arguing that $60 PC games are not a new phenomenon.
Let me explain it this way. You point out that you paid $60 for SC2. I did too. Suppose someone came in here and said:
"PC Games today cost $50."
You and I quickly point out: "No, that's not true. Look at StarCraft II. It retailed for $60."
Someone else jumps in: "That doesn't prove anything. I only paid $50 for StarCraft II. In fact, I've never paid $60 for a PC game ever, and I buy a lot."
It's not relevant. We don't need to show that all games cost $60. We don't need to show that StarCraft 2 will always cost $60. We just need one counter-example to disprove the assertion that "PC Games cost $50."
To bring it back to the discussion, ackbar claims that games a year or two ago cost $50, and if you go back a little further, the games cost $40. This is not true. I don't have the time to do a comprehensive search, but this article from 1998 discusses some costs that go into making a game. It references price points of 50, 60, and 80 dollars. Another example: Caesar II released in 1995, retailed at $55.
Just FYI, you can usually get a copy for $30-$40 on Amazon.
here seems like it went up from $35 - $39 since i posted that comment :/
Thank you for the contest! :D
My favorite game is... generally an RPG or puzzle game (it kind of changes, depending on how I am feeling). Morrowind, Pokemon Yellow, Dragon Age, and Papo & Yo will always have a special place in my heart though.
Civ V: I really want to play this game with my SO. He loves it, and he thinks it is right up my alley (since I love strategy games, and loved playing Risk). We live about two hours by bus away from each other, and he plays Civ more than anything else right now. It would be nice to have virtual date nights, where we can destroy (or help) each other and other countries, in the name of entertainment!
OR Diablo III: I love, love, love Diablo. It's fun, the world is immense and awesome, and the bosses are great! It's great to explore, and kill monsters, AND SO MANY other things.
I would be beyond thrilled to get either of these games, as both are ones I have wanted for awhile! For PC games, it is best to buy new, since most require a code to let you install it now.
The base game is on sale for $20 on Amazon if you don't feel like messing with Best Buy :) http://www.amazon.com/Diablo-III-PC/dp/B00178630A
it supports multi-player. but has definite solo achievements for the Seasonals,
and endless discussion on the best solo builds
If you wanted to get a 4pk, get 4 codes from battlenet or whatever.
D3 alone is only 17 bucks for PC
consoles can't even get just D3 I don't think.. or maybe PS3/360 can, but PS4 and XBO only got Ultimate Evil (D3+RoS) since day one I think.
User reviews are a little easy to game. The second a group of internet users gets offended about something, a ton of people vote 1/10 on a game that they haven't played or doesn't deserve a 1.
While the above games are certainly controversial, none of them deserve a true editorial 1/10. However, a ton of people gave a 1.
To be fair, expecting to play a game you just purchased doesn't make you entitled. It's not like Blizzard doesn't have any experience for massive release days (WOW). If you sell 12 million copies and aren't able to support that many players after touting online only as some great (non-DRM) feature, maybe they should have limited the amount of copies sold. If this were any other company (or industry) you'd get the same feedback. Also, lol, it's rating went up to 2 stars.
negative user reviews outweighing the positive
mostly 1 star reviews
reddit thread for back when the game was out
again the game was a financial success but only financially. Many felt the quality was subpar and shaked their faith in Blizzard. Now with Diablo Immortal the bridge looks to be completely burned
Link to item on Amazon
amazon standard boxed for $40, http://www.amazon.com/Guild-Wars-2-Pc/dp/B001TOQ8X4
Don't even need to go out to buy it. Amazon has it.
1. First you said Blade and Soul is the most populated free-to-play MMO.
>i guess it is indeed the most populated f2p atm.
Now you say it's "one of the TOP F2P MMORPGs." Which is it? Also, where are the links to support your claim? Shouldn't be so hard since "Proofs are all over the internet", right? I want facts. I want supporting evidence. "You frist L."
2. You did not answer the OP correctly. You said:
>There are ways, i believe there was some things u could take to make em thinner or fatter from the cash shop ofc.
Surprise. Spend Federation Bills. Changers. Shape Changer: Thighs (Permanent). 5 Federation Bills are given each day you log in, and can be redeemed at Tikat for various items. Of course, you're expected to make uninformed comments about a game that you haven't played in years (and have likely never played). "Your second L."
3. Someone requested an MMORPG. You listed a first-person shooter and labeled it as an MMORPG.
>MMORPG is based around working for your progression be it rating, gear, stats, skills and so on and so on. People who player MMORPGs enjoy working for their stuff and enjoy using their hard earned new stuff to dominate scrubs in PvP or kill hard bosses.
>You could alternatively p2w your way instead of grinding btw.
Source. "Your 3rd L, this one you gave to yourself without me even needing to say anything."
4. Guild Wars 2 is free to play, though.
>Play Guild Wars 2 for free
> - About the Product
> - Guild Wars 2 provides a massive, online persistent world.
> - Free online play. No monthly fee.
> - Players have the freedom to play together even if their friends are at a much higher (or lower) level.
> - Players will be able to engage in organized, balanced PvP (similar to GvG in the original Guild Wars) without needing to first level up characters, find equipment, or unlock skills.
> - You will be able to advance your character to the maximum level without ever joining a group if you so desire.
> By August 2015, over 5 million copies had been sold, at which point the base game became free-to-play.
Oh, did I mention it's free-to-play? "Your 4th L which again you give to yourself without me needing to talk, but you get triggered and spam your wall of pointless texts."
>Forgot what was the 5th
Of course you did.
>i aint as desperate as you are to win an internet argument
I'm just going to link this again. Also:
> I tried and won, 3rd in a row. We are on a troll slaying streak boiz.
>nah you get triggered so hard when exposed to being a troll you cannot stop yourself from posting, mad troll is mad troll. Hold the L and stay silent.
> You. Are. Triggered. Troll. With. Autism.
> But i do, you're retarded and you have run out of trolling ideas. Repeating the same thing for 3rd time or so. As usual baseless troll attacks, 0 facts, 0 legit information. Just a classic Troll who's getting his 5th L in a row.
>As for the deleted reponse, it was moderated most likely. The point is you got to read it so you held to that L.
> Bro you're being pathetic. Getting triggered so hard over getting an L. Get over it, you got your 5th L in a row, you don't need to talk nonsense. You have yet to proove my point wrong EVER, the only one name calling is you and you get it mirrored back at yourself. Don't be so mad for being exposed as a troll.
> And you need to double check, because most of them are deleted and guess for what.. TROLLING xDDDDDDD HOLD THE L TROLL dem trolls nowadays bad af.
>Here hold another L make em 5 or 6 idk losing count, ya getting rekt every single time xD
Looking pretty desperate to me. You keep throwing these terms around like "troll", "rekt", "baby", and "retard" in a desperate attempt to divert attention from your own anger and lack of supporting arguments. Nobody is getting "rekt" except you. Nobody is taking an "L" except you. Nobody is acting like a "baby" except you. I don't "name call" you, nor have I. I called you a liar. That's not "name-calling". That's objective fact. "Here hold another L make em 5 or 6 idk losing count, ya getting rekt every single time xD"
Same from Amazon
Here you go mate, grab em while you can! :D
Edit: Although, think about it. You really don't want the digital deluxe? Don't regret it later :P
You can't even Amazon is sold out.
Digital Downloads are off for now. Physical copies only until ANet opens them back up.
If you can't get anything from buy.guildwars2.com, Amazon still has copies here http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B001TOQ8X4
So if I want to find a stable version or DE:HR to play, I should look for something like this. right?
Amazon price matched the Gamersgate deal.
$9.99 for Deus Ex: Human Revolution + Tactical Enhancement Pack
Once you have bought it, don't bother with the Amazon downloader. Just click "Your Account -> Your Games and Software Library" and copy the Activation Key into Steam.
Deus Ex: HR $10.00
Oops forgot to include that.
It was my understanding that Deus Ex: Human Revolution requires a steam account for activation.
On the amazon page do a ctrl+F search for 'steam' and your first result should yield: * A Steam account is required for game activation.
Human Revolution is a masterpiece. Director's Cut is actually buggier. I'd recommend finding a copy of the original HR , such as this Amazon one.
$40 on amazon
I'm almost certain that it will not be coming to Steam.
As for Origin, I honestly have had no problems with it. Battlelog is quite neat as well as it works fine. There are some people who have problems with it, but understand that while there are people making posts on how bad things are, there really aren't any people making posts on how things are working fine for them. I'm not sure if I can call them a vocal minority or not, but for me and many others, things are fine.
TL;DR: Like Battlefield 3? Buy it. (And Back to Karkand. Seriously, it's awesome.)
Buy the PC Download here(which activated on Origin), then buy Back to Karkand for the $15, and you'll have both for $54.95, still cheaper than full price.
It's still $20 off (download only) on Amazon. I was skeptical about using their game download service but it was actually pretty good.
I'm looking at it on Amazon here for $30. Could you use this?
Battlefield 3 is also on sale, 50% off premium as well.
Battlefield 3 Premium
It's 33% off at Amazon right now as a digital download. Not sure how picky they are about your region, but it's worth looking into.
If that price is still too high or doesn't work in Canada, you may be better off waiting a couple of weeks. It's been on sale off and on all over the place from time to time, but everyone seems to be set back at full price now.
Make sure to look around before you buy it. Right now Amazon.com has it on sale for $39.99.
Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 3 Premium Edition are on sale too:
Battlefield 3 - $9.99:
Battlefield 3 Premium Edition - $24.99:
Does anyone know for how long though?
Does anybody know if I can buy multiple copies through ImpulseDriven?
If not, Amazon, please price match this...
"Tell us about a lower price" if anybody else is also interested in amazon having the deal as well.
sweet thanks guys! just answered my own question! just grabbed it off amazon prime for 50.99 no tax! w00t!
All my favorite gaming memories are with my dad, who passed away when I was little. He would get computer games from time to time and we'd both sit at the computer and play them. Some of our favorites were Quake and Quake II. I remember we even bought all the expansion packs for Quake II, haha.
We mostly played PC games, but he bought me the PS2 right when it came out for my birthday. It was my first console! Man, we played the crap out of that thing and it's still works perfectly today. We both loved Crash Bandicoot Wrath of Cortex, the Army Men games (Sarge's Heroes, anyone??), and Portal Runner, which was a spin-off of the Army Men games. Tomb Raider, Jak and Daxter, and MDK2: Armageddon were also favorites! We just had a great time gaming together and bonding and all that good stuff.
To this day, the PS2 is still my favorite console. So many great games and memories! =)
I'm still a kid at heart! Thanks for the contest, and HAPPY FREAKING BIRTHDAY!
Oh yeah, the links:
Well, I really want Tomb Raider, but it's a download, so I'd reeeeealy like a gift card for that, if that is okay with you. =) If it needs to add up to $31, I believe there are some game things on my wishlist that will help add up to that! Feel free to surprise me! =D
Tomb Raider is on sale for $12.50 (same as the Steam deal). Anyone know if it's a steam key?
There won't be more single player content for Tomb Raider.
It's on sale for $17,5 over at Amazon.
It's a streamlined, but rather enjoyable experience. It will get cheaper quickly, as every Square Enix title does, but it's worth $17,5 imo.
>The problem is that the more people who do this, the less money developers/publishers make. If too many people wait for the GOTY edition there won't be a GOTY edition.
That's what the marketing is for. ;)
Wait, you can get it cheaper on amazon
Use the code: GOONCAVE and you will pay 10 dollars for Tomb Raider, you can activate it on Steam. And yes, its worth it, i loved the game
Amazon is currently selling Tomb Raider for 56% off, at $17.49 (steam key) http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007VFHGZ4/ref=s9_al_ft_g367_ir09?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-3&pf_rd_r=1VZN5H6HY0K3SS4PS61K&pf_rd_t=1401&pf_rd_p=1580579242&pf_rd_i=1000716161
If you don't want to pay $20 for a 15 year old game (can't blame you), look on Ebay, maybe you can snag it for cheap there.

It is illegal to NOT require a CD key. You can buy Halo off Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Halo-Combat-Evolved-PC/dp/B00009TW6R
Yes it was on PC lol. http://www.amazon.com/Halo-Combat-Evolved-PC/dp/B00009TW6R and http://www.amazon.com/Halo-2-PC/dp/B000NV8F58

EDIT: good luck finding a download option
Got you covered!
Did you even look these up?
For some stupid reason it's still $24
Halo 2 is actually cheaper than Halo 1!

Game Tracker, plenty of servers up on PC, get some.
Install from disc perhaps?
Halo: Combat Evolved - PC https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00009TW6R/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_-jFPAbN8P8MHW
if you don't buy/own Halo PC & use SPV3 thats piracy! buy it to day
using a key found online is just bypassing there anti-piracy system
If you wanna download: it's better getting it here than using a torrent. Don't forget the patch.
Both of these are being sold by Microsoft on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Halo-Combat-Evolved-PC/dp/B00009TW6R/
https://www.amazon.com/Halo-2-PC/dp/B000NV8F58/ Sadly, both aren't available for digital purchase.
Halo Custom Edition is a free add-on if have the regular version, which you can buy here: http://www.amazon.com/Halo-Combat-Evolved-PC/dp/B00009TW6R
Alternatively, google nosTeam Halo. They have cracks for regular & custom edition. I have heard of some people buying the game and the key not working...
> "Custom Edition"
Was it called "Custom Edition" by the community or Microsoft? I see no official reference to "Custom Edition".
And I don't believe I said anything about "Halo 1". I said:
> Back back in the day you just called it Halo! There weren't any others.
And that's 100% fact.
Here you go.
You can pirate it or find an outside source. That's how most people are playing now. Otherwise, the game is <$10.
If you don't want to pirate it for whatever reason, that's all you'll get.
This is the cheapest I've found.
I bought my key off some shady site for less way back when the new b.net launched. Key still works and I payed under $5 for it.
The best part about Blizzard game is that they work for both PC/MAC, something i wish more devs would do.
Now that it's been a few days, http://www.amazon.com/Diablo-Battlechest-new-version-Mac/dp/B0002BQN7Q/ref=sr_1_1?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1317523963&sr=1-1
It's been this every time I've checked, including when I looked late last year.
Ehh, I'd rather pay $30 dollars than risk my account getting perm ban.
Yeah that's a little rough. Would be nice if the battlechest was like $20 and you could buy it digitally but that's life I guess.
You can get it from Amazon and just activate your CD keys with your Battle.net account, that'll let you download it digitally in the future.
Make sure you buy the new version. Amazon
I don;t know about Diablo 1 you might have to order that online, but everytime I got o best buy I see the Diablo II Battlechest. I also saw it at gamestop, and walmart actually.. Here is a link to one of them on amazon. I gotta say, good choice finally starting to play it, it really is an amazing game. :)
n.b.: official patch 1.12 removes the need to have the CD in
If you pirated it: http://www.amazon.com/Diablo-Battlechest-new-version-Mac/dp/B0002BQN7Q/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1303682689&sr=8-1
Check Target, Walmart, or Bestbuy. I see Diablo Battle Chests (D1+D2+LOD) every time I am in one of those three stores and I think they even brought the price down.
More than likely the one at Walmart was just Diablo 2 Battle chest, the first ones had Diablo 1 included.
Sorry to pepper you with more questions.
Is there widescreen support? Support for higher resolutions?
I have Windows 7 64-bit. Would I be fine with this:
Or would I want this:
I highly recommend this. Great price for an amazing set of games.
Thirty bucks on Amazon is the best I could find in a couple minutes of checking:
I bought it for 20€ at Saturn and $19.30 on Amazon http://www.amazon.com/Diablo-Battlechest-new-version-Mac/dp/B0002BQN7Q/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1369490578&sr=8-2&keywords=diablo+2
Buy a couple Diablo battle chests, play Diablo 2 LoD together.
Amazon Halo 2 Vista is still in stock
> Halo 2 was developed by Bungie and sold exclusively for use with Microsoft's Xbox,
Halo 2 wasn't a Xbox exclusive prove
Here. It isn't so bad.
I got my copy from Amazon Canada a few weeks ago. They actually had stock.
Actually they still have stock. At $15CDN:
Only on XBOX....
[oh really?] (http://www.amazon.com/Halo-2-PC/dp/B000NV8F58/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1393794036&sr=8-2&keywords=halo+pc)
> and I don't imagine Microsoft would fuck the port of such a major game like that.
They've done it before to mixed reaction...
Is it really hard to google? https://www.amazon.com/Halo-2-PC/dp/B000NV8F58
Halo 3 was the first Halo that didn't come to PC.
Read about the compatibility issues others were talking about unless you Vista like I did on my old rig when I played 2. I haven't tested it on my newer OS yet.
> Halo 2 for pc
Its 20$ on Amazon.
Halo 2 pc
Ask and ye shall receive
Could just buy it for PC? Halo 1 and 2 are on PC.
In the U.S. the cheapest I can find it for is $50:
You may want to try google shopping to see if it is sold cheaper somewhere locally?
Not sure if I'm late, WoL for $20 on Amazon:
HotS is also $20 on u.s. amazon, with 2 dollars tax ($5 shipping, but can qualify for free shipping)
You can qualify for free shipping on orders of $35 or more, which can be done by buying both HotS and WoL totaling around 40 dollars plus tax
Consider playing SC2 for free through "spawning" (partying up with friends who already have HotS) [Downsides: No 1v1, terran-only, and miss out on campaign]
I don't recommend waiting for HotS on Microsoft Store which is on sale for $5, but currently out of stock. Microsoft Store might take a really long time to restock so I wouldn't bet on it, but just in case:
A former pro player, Liquid Jinro, made a blog post saying SC2 has the best it has ever been, I hope you have fun with SC2!
You mean the same price as all newer games?!!?!?! No way!
Also, it's $33
Amazon's Gold Box deal for today is ONE FUCKING AWESOME GAME
SC2 retail price: $60.00
Gold Box price: $40.00
Apply credit: $20.00
it's worth the $50.
Digital downloads are always more expensive. However if you buy the cd then download the game with the key, its the same thing, you don't need to have the disk to play.
I got my copy at amazon for like $45 this summer.
Amazon's cheaper at $50
I dont own the game, but like I said I did a (very) little research. On the blizzard website there are two prices, one is about ~$100, the other is ~$20 (60 days). The "60 days" part got me confused so I googled it and found these reviews:
> Much more serious is the NeverLettingGo-OnLineActivation requirement. The game will ask for activation during installation, which also includes signing up to BattleNet (and, yes, this means that even this expensive game never becomes yours to keep). But that is not all: a periodic OnLine confirmation is also required EVERY THIRTY DAYS, FOREVER. You can play offline but no more than a month between re-activating.
(my mistake, not 3 months, but 30 days)
A few other sites confirmed that you have to link your game to a battle.net and even If you wanted to play offline, you would have to play as a guest but would still be required to activate once a month.
Maybe I was trolled by these reviews... I dont know.
Target has it around $52
Amazon has some decent deals and retails at $50:Amazon
Finding it under $50 is still pretty tough at the moment and will most likely have to be from a person selling their own copy.
luckily for you, its only $50!
so yeah, it's basically free[winky face]
WOL is $30 at Amazon.com, but only 3 copies left in stock.
It depends on the product. Games, books, and other media and electronics have critic reviews available. And then there's actually reading the reviews. When someone is whining that their product is defective, I usually just disregard it because I can just send it back to amazon and get a working product. Weigh the good reviews with the bad. Don't worry over volume of reviews. If you follow the content of reviews rather than just gloss over the rating, you will be able to avoid being manipulated by corporate conspiracies or angry fanboys.
Not sure.... (http://www.amazon.com/Diablo-III-PC/dp/B00178630A/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1395423523&sr=8-1&keywords=diablo+3)
But I'm pretty sure it does come with a small manual inside if it is the physical box (I lost my box in a move :P).
You mean this?
Amazon has pricematched both D3 and RoS at $19.99 each. Useful for those not near GameStop.
D3 for $20.
D3 RoS for $35.
Protip: Blizzard store is almost always the most expensive price. Search around before buying from there.
Gamestop and Amazon both have it for $20 right now in case someone is feeling generous. Sorry I can't get it for you, but I hope someone does, and I wish everything works out just fine for you.
I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please contact the moderators of this subreddit if you have any questions or concerns.
http://www.amazon.com/Diablo-III-PC-Mac/dp/B00178630A/ D3 = $25 on Amazon but only 1 left.
http://www.amazon.com/Diablo-III-Reaper-Souls-Pc/dp/B00FENJVOE/ RoS = $29 on Amazon but only 3 left.
Total of $54
Maybe Amazon for $42.41.
preorder this amongst other things
Diablo 3 Amazon.ca Sale too! : http://www.amazon.ca/ACTIVISION-728515-Diablo-3/dp/B00178630A/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1369090220&sr=8-1&keywords=diablo+3
i saw it on amazon http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00178630A/ref=gno_cart_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER
That's a link that shows all the people selling it. If you scroll past the featured merchants until you hit the "New" category, the prices start at about $39 with $4 shipping.
Diablo 3 is also on sale
$60 on Amazon http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00178630A/diablo-iii-standard-edition-20/
Well, it sounds like you're mostly content with their direction. I can see how it might work for some. But, as for listening to the community, they simply didn't. Their reviews are abysmal. Any survey of a wider beta audience would have told them that they weren't on the mark if they had bothered to listen. I suspect Wilson is simply the fall guy for corporate mandates that were forced through from the top-down, so I don't buy that the real problem is solved until it actually is.
Don't get me wrong: I'm glad they're improving the game. But at this point, the whole experience around them is so tarnished that it's going to be hard for them to get back the trust they once enjoyed.
>Can you elaborate why you think D3 is such a failure?
I thought some of the top rated Amazon reviews of the game were pretty well written and did a good job of summarizing what went wrong.
Here you go: Clicky
Depending on where you are located outside the US, you may still be able to get release day shipping. To check, you have to sign in to amazon and there should be a link just under the price on the amazon page for Diablo 3 to see if there is release day shipping at your location.
Used ones are as low as $15. I'm sure you could scrape some spare change to get that amount of money.
40 usd at amazon
The microtransactions have fed GW1 a LOT of money, which has made up for no subscription fees in a way. I doubt you'll see the normal standard game go past $60. And, oddly, the price of GW2 has dropped $3 on US's Amazon since about a month ago when it was $59.
Sad that you were influenced with the LoC people here on reddit. It will go on sale again, or even for $40 it is a great deal.
Edit: Amazon has it for $30
The physical copies comes in standard edition while the digital copy only comes in deluxe...at least for now. As someone who has the deluxe edition, it's not really worth it. But it's up to you :) glad you enjoyed the game.
Standard PC Download. :)
Thanks but the picture and description clearly state "Pre-purchase" and not "Pre-order".
The link for the pre-order version is this one and there are other links for the other editions as well.
I'm sure it does. "The code to setup your Guild Wars 2 account early and access Beta Weekend Events will be emailed at least a few days before the release of the game."
Digital Deluxe Edition
Obviously the digital editions don't come with boxes and all you get is a key and the other two are physical boxed copy like you would get in a brick and mortar store.
And you bought the standard edition? (this one? http://www.amazon.com/Guild-Wars-2-Pc/dp/B001TOQ8X4 )
Ah, fair enough.
Though, if it's an option, you can get a digital download from Amazon.com
Also, I play a Mesmer, so lets hope you target the right me. :P
Physical copies are readily available: http://www.amazon.com/Guild-Wars-2-Pc/dp/B001TOQ8X4
Sure you have to wait for shipping, but it beats waiting for keys to be sent out. You can upgrade to digital in-game if that's what you wanted.
It's still $33.98 from Amazon Marketplace Third Coast Resale. No tax in TX. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001TOQ8X4/ref=twister_B0091XHZW8?ie=UTF8&psc=1
>I'm mostly following Tony's formatting with posting deals here (And I'll be starting to post console deals too, in separate threads). If there's anything you'd like to see that I'm not including, feel free to let me know.

There's a download version of Deus Ex for $20 as well.
Wait for Steam sale?
It is $40 on Amazon, right now... (they give you a code, you plug it into Steam)
Steam is always the most expensive place for new games.
I'm talking digital download. (aka pc version). $7 copy
Have you tried ordering it from the US page? I'm an american living in the uk and this is how I purchased it.
Not sure exactly how PC downloads work on Amazon but this is your best bet.
they were giving a a discount earlier this week but I guess not anymore
it IS cheaper, though
Is this better for you?
BF3 is really good because there's a lot of roles to play (infantry, driver, gunner, pilot...) and it's super cheap because bf4 is coming out oct 29th. It's $40 with all the dlc, which is a good price, but it's been cheaper. Keep an eye on the price and you'll probably see another sale before too long.
Other than that, far cry 3 is awesome.
Would you be willing to buy Battlefield 3 ( It's on sale for $9.99 just now on Amazon ) and I'll give you 3 TF2 Keys and Cities XL Platinum ??
Hitman: Absolution is only $4.99 on Amazon right now.
GTA 4 is $9.99.
BF3 is $18.61. I like that game. Obviously awesome multiplayer but a surprisingly good campaign as well.
L.A. Noire is $14.99
Also Max Payne 3, Mass Effect 3, Kingdoms of Amalur, Just Cause 2, Dead Island GOTY, Borderlands GOTY, The Walking Dead, Alice: Madness Returns, Deus Ex: HR, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, Amnesia. There are a ton of great games at or under $25...you just have to look.
so you spend 14 bucks, regular price is 16 on amazon. Good deal if you want to play BF1942, and it's nice that it's two bucks cheaper, but if you're on the fence, this deal wouldn't push me either way.
From Amazon for 35.99
Is it tomb raider gift? If it is i can do it. I will give you 15$ amazon for you to get battlefield 3 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005WWZUQ0?ie=UTF8&force-full-site=1&ref_=aw_bottom_links
Not enirely true, actually. A lot of games are straight up cheaper on PC.
Thief - $50 on PC, $60 on console
Tomb Raider - $30 on PC, $60 on console
Battlefield 4 - $50 on PC, $60 on console
The $5 on Steam is a bit trickier as there's a lot of options. I'd say just search through, maybe do the Discovery Queue and see if you see any interesting games for $5 or less. There's an "Under $5" category you can find on the Steam store homepage.
>No offense, but just the fact you're in Australia makes you the odd case out, because Australia's prices (which I'm sure you know and I sympathize with you) are all kinds of fucked.
No, you're wrong. /u/NyranK specified Tomb Raider.
Okay, so it gets a little better when you buy the most inferior version of the game on console.
Oh, look at this:
Tomb Raider - PC (Amazon download): $3.99
Tomb Raider - Steam: $3.99
Sorry, no, NyranK isn't the odd one out, this is the deal even in the US. The price difference isn't quite as extreme, but you can't seriously be saying a $25 to $30+ price difference is insignificant?
In-case you haven't bought it yet.
Amazon is price matching it and there is a code that drops it to $10.62! The code is GOONCAVE and works, just picked it up.
Right now Tomb raider is cheaper on amazon ($17.49) which gives you a steam code to redeem. I'm going to wait to see if it hits 66 or 75% myself.
Tomb Raider is on sale over on Amazon for WAY cheaper.
Tomb Raider (2013) for $14.87 with "gooncave" code!
*edited the link
Save yourself a bit of money on it too, Amazon has it 50% off! It was even cheaper several days ago, but this game is very worth $10. And yeah, the code Amazon gives redeems on Steam!
Edit: Never mind me, I forgot it's featured in the Humble Bundle for a dollar cheaper + with other games. Go for that instead!!

Yea its showing up as 30 for me. If it stays screwy you can try buying it somewhere else.
It runs through steam regardless of where you bought it I believe.
Not really interested in Rising Storm, sorry. Dark Souls is currently $7.49 on Amazon though http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00917DBUE/
Dark Souls - You’ve probably heard about this one plenty of times. Fantastic game, brutally challenging. It has one of the most eerie atmospheres I’ve ever experienced in a game. It’s just come to my attention that Amazon will be giving accounts that bought Dark Souls through them a $5 credit towards Dark Souls 2 (post from Tony, Amazon’s gaming rep, here). Some advice if you get this game: 1. Play with a controller. 2. Get DSFix, a fan-made mod that fixes various things about the port like making the game run at true 1080p and unlocking the framerate so you can get 60fps and not 30fps.
Mount & Blade: Warband - I have logged over 160 hours in this hack’n’slash medieval simulator, and that’s just me playing the singleplayer campaign. There are people with thousands of hours played in the game’s multiplayer. Its graphics are not the prettiest, but the game is ridiculously fun. I’ve never seen it go under $5 so if you haven’t played it and you have any interest at all in being a badass sword fighter, leading a mob of knights or vikings or archers around and pillaging or saving villages and sieging/defending castles, becoming a lord or even a king/queen, get this game. Warband also has some awesome mods worth looking into, like a Roman era total conversion if you’re into that.
Metro Last Light - This game is best played after its sequel, Metro 2033 (also on sale, though it was next-to-nothing in price in that one THQ Humble Bundle). It seriously is a great FPS, better (in my sincere opinion, please don’t downvote me) than Bioshock: Infinite by miles and miles. Probably my game of the year. Insanely atmospheric and beautiful. If you enjoyed the Fallout series at all, or post-apocalyptic settings, this game is a super treat. The only drawback is that it doesn’t have much in the way of replay value since one playthrough will be enough for most, but there is a lot of detail crafted into the game’s world that’s worth exploring. On harder difficulties, the game is very tense, with scarce amounts of ammo and very dangerous situations. You can go through most of the game stealthily as well, so you may have one playthrough where you’re Rambo and another where you’re Solid Snake; a choice I always find nice.
Those are my top 3 recommendations, but there are a lot of others (the new Tomb Raider, Bioshock: Infinite for $20 holy cow, Civilization V, et cetera) that are really good games as well. One thing’s for sure: this sale combined with the Greenlight sale and the new Paradox Humble Bundle… I have too many games to play. Too many games.
F1 2012 and Dark Souls $17.5 x 90% = $15.75. I can do $15.50 paypal at the lowest
It's currently unavailable on Amazon but it's the cheapest it's ever been
Why don't you just wait for them to restock it?
If you live somewhere else than US you can still put a random address, had one from a Steakhouse in Beverley Hills for like 2 years, never had a problem
Yeah... they might get more in, but who knows. It could really go either way if past sales are any indication.
It looks like there's a problem with the Amazon sale. I tried to buy it, and the order failed; got the most painful runaround from their customer services. Turns out (according to them) that they're having "licensing" issues, and aren't sure if the product will be back online (on sale or otherwise).
Anyone got any details on this? http://www.amazon.com/Dark-Souls-Prepare-Edition-Online/dp/B00917DBUE/ is the store page. I'd like to know (assuming anyone's got more information than me :) whether or not it's likely to appear back in the sale, or if I'm wasting my time clicking refresh a lot :)
£5 is quite expensive, as it often goes for US$5. A quick look around today found it for $5 here.
$7.50 on amazon. Not American? No issue, just find an American address on Google earth and get a fake phone number.
Any idea if http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B7UK2I2/ref=cm_sw_su_dp?tag=ablegamers-20 will come on sale? And will it include the DLC The old gods?
[Crusader Kings Complete Pack] (http://www.amazon.com/Paradox-Interactive-41303-Kings-Pack1/dp/B00B7UK2I2/ref=sr_1_5?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1369426838&sr=1-5&keywords=crusader+kings+2) is back in stock.
If you wanted to buy everything (including Old Gods) your best bet would probably be:
$15 - for game and all released dlcs and packs from Amazon
And then preorder Old Gods plus new norse packs from GMG with 20% off code which would come out to $16.77.
This will give you steam keys for all base game, all released dlc and packs, plus Old Gods dlc and packs for $31.57.
amazon has all of it for 14.99. only the first game is not steam. Your welcome.
It's on sale on Amazon now. link
Edit:Thanks for the downvotes... I updated the link
Yes, but get the original Legendary Edition with all DLCs from Amazon for only 18 bucks. It has way more mods, no paid mods, and the modded version will look better than the SE. The disk version includes a Steam key, and I bought that same item from Amazon not too long ago -- it arrived quickly and in good condition.
There ya go
There's no multiplayer, that's the point. It's an RPG, no MMO to be found.
Yes you can..
xbox 1 is the sole exception since prices seemingly raised upon release of SSE - still not even $60
Skyrim Legendary edition digital copy from GMG is currently $40, or if you don't mind the wait, a physical copy which can be redeemed on Steam can be found for about $22.
For those of you interested, Amazon sells a new copy of Legendary Edition for 20 USD (it registers on steam). It's currently out of stock, but it might be back in stock soon.
I believe Walmart and other retailers sell it for 20 USD as well, though it might be hard to find.
Those games aren't free, they're leased. If you stop paying you don't get to keep them. And I'm sure the price competitiveness of consoles goes to crap when you have to rationalize in having a vita, a ps4 and a ps3 ( Could build a Nice gaming rig for that price). this also only took 5 seconds to find, so don't try and tell me that games are cheaper to buy on consoles. Also, skyrim is a BAD game to advertise consoles over, it runs horrendously on the consoles with load times long enough for a short nap ( not my words, just observing complaints from actual console users ). That's one of those easy contrast examples of "standard game" -- "Mods" right before you launch into a full PCMR speech.
It's super cheap on Amazon right now, that is if you don't mind a physical version.
So I have the original Skyrim game on my Steam account, but not the DLC. Now I'm looking to get the DLC, but it's not on the store anymore, only with the Special Edition. I have a low power PC so I don't want to sacrifice more performance with the special edition, so I was wondering if the original Legendary Edition physical would be what I'm looking for? And also the UK version is almost half the price, so if I bought that would it be compatible with my US Skyrim license? (Want to keep my saves)
So if I just went ahead and bought this, then how do I get it on my steam? If you change the platform of the game on amazon there is another choice called, PC online game code. Is it that one? Or just the one labeled, PC. Thanks for the help BTW.
There was another post I commented on earlier today about getting Oldrim. Don't bother getting it from Steam. I looked and it's like $55 or something pretty close to that. I did buy mine on G2A for a little less than $14 but I've heard some bad things on them since. There are a couple of other sites you can buy Oldrim Legendary Edition from
Edit: Bethesda's website: $30
$19 (Disc, though)
Just google "Skyrim Legendary Edition PC" and you'll come across a ton of places to buy it for way less than $55-$60
Amazon has had that at $40.00 for a few months now.
Do you have the base Skyrim game?
If you don't, just wait for the legendary edition's release; it's basically Skyrim GOTY edition:http://www.amazon.com/video-games/dp/B00CJ7IUIQ
I don't have Dawnguard, but I have Dragonborn, and I think it is a GREAT DLC, with a sizeable amount of content(They add a new island and there are a fair amount of quests. http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Quests_(Dragonborn)
It gets stale once the sidequests and main quest is done though, but it does add 4 new dragon priests, as well as 2 new materials to forge with.
Overall, I say wait for a sale on Dragonborn, but buy it once it does go on sale because it's a really good piece of DLC. If it doesn't go on sale soon, I don't think it would be a really bad waste of $20.
Here it is on amazon for $20, but it's out of stock right now. You might be able to get it at Target, which is where I got it last summer for $15, or maybe Walmart.
Not sure why people refuse to believe Legendary edition is only around $20. It's been that way for a bit, only certain places are continuing to over-charge.
That's a link to buy it on Amazon, and it ships from Amazon. It's genuine, and I've bought two (one for the wife), AND it's only $15 (that's $5 cheaper than the one I bought for my wife, and $10 cheaper than the one I got for myself a few months earlier than the last). If you buy some other stuff to make your cart total $35+, the shipping is free.
Doesn't get much better than that.
If you don't want to buy from Amazon, then buy from somewhere that takes PayPal, as PayPal will refund your money if you don't get it or if it's a pirate copy.
(FYI, this is the DVD disc, plus obviously Steam so you can also DL it [after registration] if you, uh, like very slow installs. They also sell a direct DL link, PS3 and XBox360 versions, all cheaper than retail stores)
I tried looking for Skyrim Legendary Edition (the only game I really want) and all I find is this.
It looks like they may not have the digital download for it. Guess I will have to get it through steam...
You don't need to spend 60 if you have your account info, Heavenward is a flag on your account that is not platform specific, so all you need is to buy ARR for the PC which is 20 bucks
Even if you did need to buy heavenward, which you don't unless you're opening a new account, you could get the bundle for 30
As mentioned earlier the game goes on sale. Amazon has it for $15 right now http://www.amazon.com/Final-Fantasy-XIV-Reborn-Download/dp/B00CMSCV4Q
Best deal at the moment might be on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Final-Fantasy-XIV-Reborn-Download/dp/B00CMSCV4Q
There's no difference whatsoever, the disc isn't really needed. So except if your father values physical copies, might as well get a direct download. :)
Standard version is currently on sale at http://www.amazon.com/Final-Fantasy-XIV-Reborn-Download/dp/B00CMSCV4Q
check back at that link as sales pop up all the time.
Buy now the PC + PS3 version at 30usd each:
Get access right now + 2 month free. Then upgrade the PS3 version.
I'm been trying to Google on how to purchase this game and still pretty damn confused lol.
How do I even buy this game once the trial has ended? I see sites selling physical copies of the game? And then there are digital copies? And then there are game cards as well...with different sites selling them.
I've no idea where to start because I have never played a p2p game before 😅.
I'm from Singapore.
Does buying the PC download Standard edition for $9.90 give me the game and some free time after my 14 day trial is over?
Why is it $49.99 or something through the FFXIV website?
You can report to Amazon.
If there's a price lower than theirs, they will sometimes match it.
Just look for "Tell Us About a Lower Price" in that page and direct it to the FFXIV steam page.
If you're in the US then the Amazon sale for ARR is here. They also have a combo pack for sale as a boxed edition here for a combined $30 for both the game and the expansion, which is a pretty solid savings. Unfortunately at the time of my posting it's out of stock. You could buy it to lock in the price if you have some trial time left and are willing to spend the time to save the money.
You should be able to log into the mogstation here with your existing account on the trial and add the key from your purchase. That'll activate your current account and give you 30 days of game time. However it'll also cut off any trial time you have left.
Is $25 really worth all the hassle?
...$10 really since your buddy is gonna have to pay for his first 30 days.
Buying the base game, A Realm Reborn, and Stormblood separately is the same total cost. You can also use the free trial until level 35.
Well, amazon givees you a 10$ credit when you purchase the digital copy from them, so technically you net out ahead if you can buy some school supplies or something from amazon :)
You'd want this instead of the one you linked since it seems like that's for Heavensward only (and the bundle).
There's no benefit aside from unlocking a new race to play prior to hitting 50.
I had that problem too and bought it from Amazon.....but it looks like they took it down from there as well for now. Keep checking that link though. I was able to buy the digital copy from there when I was receiving that same message from their site.
Firaxis Complete Pack (Sid Meier's Civilization V: Gold Edition, Sid Meiers Civilization IV: The Complete Edition, and XCOM: Enemy Unknown) $119.97 - $99.98 = $19.99 (online game code) (amazon)
Firaxis Complete Pack:
Civ V Gold Edition (includes all DLC prior to Brave New World)
Civ IV Complete Edition (includes all DLC)
XCOM: Enemy Unknown
EDIT: Has been $10 cheaper before, so unless you really want these games, you can probably hold off until it's $19.99 again.
Firaxis Complete Bundle - $19.99 on Amazon
Buy this, you get Civ5 Gold Edition (Errry single DLC/expansion), CivIV Complete (Errry single dlc/expansion) and XCOM:EU.
Go onto /r/SteamGameSwap and trade away the stuff you don't want for stuff you do.
Just saying, that's what I'd do...
Edit: You're likely to be able to trade the extra stuff for a copy of the BNW expansion, which would be icing on the cake.
This is a really really good deal if you're looking for Civ 5 Gold. I just bought Civ 5 from steam and then found this bundle for cheaper then I paid for just the one game.
It is currently available packaged together with Civ IV Complete and Civ V Gold for $19.99 as part of Amazon's MAYhem sale. It'll be available by itself for $9.99 some time in the next couple days.
I think an even better deal than $12.49 would be to get the Firaxis pack off Amazon, you still get Civ 5 gold edition but you also get XCOM enemy unknown and Civ 4 complete edition, all this for only $20 link!
Theres a bundle for Gold Edition Civ 5 + Civ 4 (both with all expansions) + Xcom for 20 bucks. I bought that and I love it.
I have the amazon link, but id have to edit my comment later when I get on my laptop.
EDIT: [Here] (http://www.amazon.com/Firaxis-Complete-Pack-Online-Game/dp/B00CPBZDPE/ref=sr_1_1?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1368714720&sr=1-1&keywords=firaxis) is the link to the 20 bucks deal.
If you're interested, I could gladly make this purchase and trade you the Civ 5 Gold for less.
So I have Civ V Gold edition, but no BNW. If I get BNW in this deal, what else would I be missing?
So I have Civ V Gold edition, but no BNW. If I get BNW in this deal, what else would I be missing?
Do keys from Firaxis Complete Pack work around the world, or are they region locked for US?
Wait! The Elder Scrolls Anthology is on sale on amazon. It has all of the Elder Scrolls games plus DLC! http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00E9I1FPI/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_AScZtb1TQNJPQ
Already exists on PC http://www.amazon.com/Elder-Scrolls-Anthology-Pc/dp/B00E9I1FPI
Nothing remastered though, but mods will do that.
If you consider yourself a collector you can get The Elder Scrolls Anthology for a measly $40. This includes all the series' games along with their DLC and some map posters.
Maybe wait for bundle deal with TES 3, 4, 5 and all their DLC, or get The Elder Scrolls Anthology with TES 1-5. The other games might compromise for buying Skyrim again..
hey, sorry, i know this is an old thread. but where can you find it for 5 more bucks? on amazon it is 20 more bucks for me. http://www.amazon.com/The-Elder-Scrolls-Anthology-Pc/dp/B00E9I1FPI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1396127890&sr=8-1&keywords=skyrim+anthology
If I were you, I'd just get this: http://www.amazon.com/The-Elder-Scrolls-Anthology-Pc/dp/B00E9I1FPI.
$30 from Amazon, look carefully
I was at GameStop and on the clearance shelf I found an one of these for $13. Came with Skyrim and all the DLC plus all the other Elder Scrolls games (discs and steam codes) plus maps for all of 'em. My luck here might've been a one time thing but who knows, couldn't hurt to look.
On GameStop's website it's $21 which is still pretty damn good! Check if a store near you has one.
That's a fair point. I'm just glad I got lucky and caught The Elder Scrolls Anthology lightning deal a couple years ago for only $25. Absolute steal.
I noticed The Elder Scrolls Anthology is on sale for $20.99. Seems like a great deal to me. I would jump one it but I'm wondering if it will be cheaper on Black Friday (I remember last year it reached an all time low of $25 on Black Friday and I regretted jumping on it. I don't want to be pre-emptive on this one but I'm also worried it will sell out again and I'll have to wait another year).
$20 at amazon. Free shipping with Prime.
The Elder Scrolls Anthology by Bethesda Softworks http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00E9I1FPI/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_WZ7Dub1P6YX7E
Actually the Elder Scrolls Anthology is probably the last thing I know of that you could use a disc without a key. It comes with all of the games on disc, but you only need the key for skyrim on steam, the rest can be played with just the disc. Though the Skyrim key actually activates Oblivion and Morrowind on steam as well so you technically get 2 copies of Oblivion and Morrowind.
The Anthology is currently $20.99 on Amazon. Mine just arrived at my desk a couple hours ago. Definitely worth it!
Elder Scrolls Anthology
There is also this on amazon. Includes all the DLC for each game, and the paper maps of each game area.
Amazon. It was just a normal sale. Now's a good time to buy- it's $30.
It's really great if you want to do Morroblivion or something and you don't have Morrowind and the expansions. The packaging is also fantastic. I was really satisfied with it.
If you like or want to try Elder Scrolls games get this. Although I would wait for Cyber Monday.
Here it is.
Although I don't know why it now costs $90 instead of the $20 I've seen it for, I'm guessing because of the remastered Skyrim that just came out :/
This periodically goes on sale for $25-$30. Not sure if it will again though since Amazon doesn't seem to have them in stock anymore.
Also it's cheaper on Steam right now because the Steam Winter Sale just started.
Probably the Elder Scrolls Anthology. I'm ridiculously fucking excited. New Morrowind wall map? Yes. Yes yes.
They're free on the site, but if you want to play without DosBox, there's always this.
It's only $30 on Amazon Prime.... link
You should check out The Elder Scrolls Anthology, it's literally every Elder Scrolls game and DLC ever
Take the Elder-Scrolls-Anthology to Best Buy or you local electronic/game dealer the takes Amazon prices, and get every elder scrolls game & DLC/EP's for $20.
I did this today and now finally "Own" the DLC for Skyrim along with copies of Oblivion and Morrowind on Steam.
If you decide to get it now you can get more value by getting the anthology http://www.amazon.com/The-Elder-Scrolls-Anthology-Pc/dp/B00E9I1FPI
Oops, you are totally correct. The whole time I was thinking of the Elder Scrolls Anthology Sorry OccamOverclock.
A bit late but...
This is your best bet for value. All 5 games on disks, DRM free, and all expansions (but not DLC)
the first 2 games don't really matter as they're freeware but that's still $10 per game. You find it at $30 anywhere you look.
I personally haven't got it yet neither have i played oblivion. But this gets you Morrowind and Skyrim as well. (Skyrim is the only one that requires steam to play)
It's worth the money if you buy it for pc. Played all 3 so far and loving them. Having done dagger fall or arena yet though.
I got it at walmart not too long ago for $5 might get lucky.
Under the description it says "55 new from $29.99" follow that link and select amazon price of $29.99 as the seller.
Edit: Link to sellers
Here is the mobile version of your link
Why not both?
If you want to spend a little extra, you can get every elder scrolls game with all the DLC, plus some cool maps and a sweet box for 30$ here: http:/www.amazon.com/dpB00E9I1FPIref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_hU1Lub02WQS7X
It's also currently on sale for $50 on Amazon
I think I can just buy it from Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Diablo-III-Reaper-Souls-Pc/dp/B00FENJVOE
Correct on both counts. http://www.amazon.com/Diablo-III-Reaper-Souls-Pc/dp/B00FENJVOE/ref=sr_sp-atf_title_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1393724057&sr=8-2&keywords=diablo+3
If you're looking at buying ROS it's on sale here: http://www.amazon.com/Diablo-III-Reaper-Souls-Pc/dp/B00FENJVOE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1415664870&sr=8-1&keywords=diablo+3+ros
Best buy in the US will price match - at least they did yesterday to upgrade my wife's account. Hope it helps.
here is the link to reaper of souls
It is $15 on Amazon
Hmm it comes up as 15 for me
It's on sale at FutureShop and Best Buy. You can pricematch at other places but their availability for PC games is usually limited. Because of this, I pricematched at Amazon and ordered it online yesterday.
No. Amazon UK doesnt seem to show it but on US site, [Link](
It shows the option for physical then for digital code. Digital code shoots up to $40 whereas the physical is still less. I dunno man. Same with Xbox1 games. I got the Bestbuy membership, 20% of physical games, no discount on digital.
You would think there would be incentive for less overhead but it's not there.
ROS is $20 just about every other week at Bestbuy, Gamestop or Amazon.
Just wait for Amazon to get it back in stock and it will be $20.
Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I believe you can use prepaid cards for every version of the game. You'll get the digital code within 5 minutes https://www.amazon.com/Final-Fantasy-XIV-Online-Time/dp/B00O15486W/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1485038423&sr=8-1&keywords=ffxiv+time+card.
Hey FYI not sure if you got the Amazon promotional items yet, but I actually just bought a digital 60-day time code today and got the DLC items immediately after. I'm not sure if they changed the rules or what, but apparently digital time cards are counting now! Wanted to let you know since we were in the same boat!
stuff not related to FF is part of the deal but game time is not
I'm not sure which one they got, but this one shows it for me:
I bought a 60 day time card for XIV last night and after purchase the promo code was instantly mailed to me, if that helps!
I can confirm I bought:
And received the promo items. So digital time cards work, at least that one does.
wanna buy my buddy whose sub expired a time card as a surprise, but i wanna make 100% sure i'm doing it right so i don't accidentally blow 30 bucks on a code i can't use - he plays on PC, and not on the steam version, would getting this and sending him the code be the way to do it?
Timecodes are eligible.
Are you looking at the right item? [Here] (https://www.amazon.com/Final-Fantasy-XIV-Online-Time/dp/B00O15486W/ref=dsvrt_myd_asin_block) is the one I used, and got my code from.
If support can't help you, the only alternate way is to buy an FFIV time card. You can buy one here:
Which one of these do I buy for FFXIV if I own the non-Steam version?
Is the difference only in the Online delivery and physical? And if so, the one that says "Online Game Code" is the one that deliveries digitally right?
I suggest having him start the trial, which lasts until lvl 30 on all jobs now, then shoot him the code for Stormblood and some time. You can buy time cards and stormblood on Amazon and just send him the codes.
Appears to be back now, https://smile.amazon.com/Final-Fantasy-XIV-Online-Time/dp/B00O15486W/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1493329708&sr=8-1&keywords=ffxiv+time
Shows it correctly now.
>Codes will be sent by email within 2 days of purchase
I just did this the other day the way Kluya15 mentioned. Just make sure you enter the code your friend sends you before you set up a subscription or use the card.
except if you use this link you can get a digital key for the game time instantly instead of waiting for a card to come by snail mail.
Other have people noted its the vendor they use thats kinda crap, so best you can do is wait and make sure to check your spam mail.
In the future you could look into getting the code from amazon, I bought one recently to throw at a friend and it was instant. http://www.amazon.com/Final-Fantasy-XIV-Reborn-Online/dp/B00O15486W
Given the vagueness of your situation, I'm not sure if this is any better for you than just giving Square your CC info...but I get my time cards from Amazon:
Final Fantasy XIV Online: 60 Day Time Card [Online Game Code] https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00O15486W/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_vNQsybV6SWRKD
The code shows up in your email within about five minutes of purchase, and blammo, you're in.
Alternately, if you need to use cash or otherwise pay locally, you can get a game code from GameStop even if they're out of the physical cards. When I last purchased game time through them, the code was simply printed on the receipt--no physical card needed.
Hopes this helps!
Here it is!
Where does it say that's a requirement exactly? All I saw was:
> Any purchase of $19.99 or more from the video game category on Amazon.com will qualify you to receive an Amazon promotional code that will grant you six exclusive in-game items!
The 60 day timecard here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00O15486W/ref=s9_simh_gw_g367_i1_r?ie=UTF8&fpl=fresh&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=desktop-1&pf_rd_r=XSY2MTZDV65NWPC2QYQV&pf_rd_t=36701&pf_rd_p=6aad23bd-3035-4a40-b691-0eefb1a18396&pf_rd_i=desktop - is under the Video Games category, and says "Sold by Amazon Digital Services LLC"
I'm just curious where people are getting this from, does it only apply to physical shipments? Where does it say so?
You might need to add a NA address to your account first in order to be able to buy it. They will email the code to you after purchase.
They are not sold out:
This also works
Game Time Card on Amazon when you are done purchasing they will give you a code.
This code needs to be put into your friend's mogstation account -after- he puts in your referral code. He must login to mogstation and first put your Enter Refer a Friend Code. Then when he does that and he gets a notice saying "recruitment code registered" in his email, he adds Game Time.
His screen will look something like this when he adds Game Time. I can't find an image to show the mogstation with entering the code.
REMEMBER he needs to enter your referral code -first- before gametime is bought or a subscription is bought.
I always get mine at Amazon:
Link to these digital codes for others:
I use this to get timecards http://amzn.com/B00O15486W
Amazon has the bundle for $30. You'll save 1 month subscription too. So i'll really cost you $15-18 bucks extra.
This is a week old, but you can get the bundle on amazon for $30
Amazon physical bundle for 30 dollars (plus shipping and tax I assume). You will get a free month subscription for registering the PC license (That month doesn't count towards veteran rewards)
The non-steam version is actually
cheaperthe same price on Amazon right now. I just bought the package that includes the base game+heavensward for 29.99 a couple days ago.
hi all, i just started playing the free trial downloaded from the official website and i really like the game. ive heard there are problems transitioning from the trial to the full game if you used steam and stuff (which i didnt).
my question is, will i be okay if i downloaded the free trial from the website and then bought the physical game on amazon here: https://www.amazon.com/Final-Fantasy-XIV-Heavensward-Reborn-Bundle/dp/B00UO4NL9Y
im likely going to buy it when my 2 weeks are up, but it would devistate me to learn that the 2 weeks i put into the game will go to waste if i cant continue my trial character due to some weird oversight.
Hi, I used to play ffxiv on my ps3 and ps3 and am now trying to make the switch to PC. Is there something I can buy that bundles both expansions into a download? Closest thing I could find was this off amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Final-Fantasy-XIV-Online/dp/B00UO4NL9Y/ref=sr_1_2?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1493899575&sr=1-2&keywords=ffxiv%2Bheavensward&th=1
Might need to ask in /r/ffxiv instead but:
30$. 12.99 for 1 character per server, or 14.99 for 8 characters per server (monthly sub).
Stormblood is coming in 69 days (lel). That's another 40-50$. But, try the free trial to get a feel for the game.
Has ARR and HW plus a 30 day subscription
You can apply a game key to your trial account
So I've been playing on PS4 and want to switch to PC.. As far as I understand, I have to basically buy the game + expansion again for PC.
Would this work?
Buy a battle.net gift card?
Blizzard games don't have a gift option (they really should offer it, but never have)
Best you can do is buy battle.net gift cards and give those as the gift to the person so they can use them to buy the game on their account.
Gift cards are available from other retailers, like Amazon.com: https://www.amazon.com/Battle-net-Store-Gift-Card-Balance/dp/B012JMS4W2?ie=UTF8&*Version*=1&*entries*=0
If she plats on Android, a google gift card will do (or Apple if she plays on the iOS).
If she plays on PC, you can buy a Battle.Net Balance card. I think it takes up to 3 days for the balance to be usable, once claimed.
You can find these at GameStop and such
Amazon sells battle.net digital codes
Head over to /r/beermoney and make that $60 before the 24th. Many sites pay in Amazon gift cards. You can buy battlenet credit HERE in increments of $20 with your amazon gift card balance.
Much of the stuff you'll find in that sub takes a while to pay, but some sites like instagc.com will pay same day.
If he can't buy these gift cards and give you the codes, something is wrong.
I need help with paying for overwatch
Do anyone know how to get a blizzard account when you’re not in or around any countries that sells blizzard prepaid cards?i don’t have a blizzard account yet so I can’t ask people on the blizzard forum. I haven’t set up on because I heard the blizzard gift cards does not work if you’re outside of the US which means if I buy it online it would be a waste. Does this mean I will have to set my location to the US if I want to buy this blizzard balance card
Amazon link to the blizzard balance I want to buy
well, here's a 20 dollar battle.net card and I can't really find an extra 5 one.
and I don't know a lot of people here so I'll comment on another person's entry
Depends on the cards. A battle.net balance card https://www.amazon.com/Battle-net-Store-Gift-Card-Balance/dp/B012JMS4W2 then you are just adding balance to your blizzard account, and can purchase games, Card packs in HS, that sort of thing. You can also purchase game time with this balance.
If it's a time card https://www.amazon.com/World-Warcraft-Game-Time-Digital/dp/B012JIOKM4 then it is only good for game time.
I know Amazon sells things like These but,
1.) I don't know if they can be used for Microtransactions
2.) I don't know if I can just buy the code for them online without needing to ship the gift card.
Sure thing! https://www.amazon.com/Battle-net-Store-Gift-Card-Balance/dp/B012JMS4W2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1478393631&sr=8-1&keywords=battle.net+balance
That is the link from which I purchased the digital code from.
A buddy of mine told me about this giveaway when he saw how much I wanted Overwatch.
Since you can't gift the game the only way to give it to a random stranger would be through Battle.net cards.
See I'm a weird dude. I loved Overwatch's release into the gaming world and the copious amount of porn that came with it.
However, I've always wondered why there's so little amounts of Zenyatta rule34.
We've got Tracers with penises, and Widowmakers with penises, and D.Vas with penises, and Mercy with a witch hat, but no Zenyatta.
It feels like it's such a waste but I want to get closer to the world Overwatch has created.
I want to know why everybody loves Mercy.
I want to know why the meta has shifted from Widowmaker's butt to Mercy's..well, everything.
I know why Tracer's butt was so controversial, but I never got to experience it first-hand for myself.
I know my reasoning is shrewd and possibly ridiculous, but I want Overwatch because I know my beliefs and wishes are genuine.
It makes no sense masturbating to a game's characters when you don't own the game itself, yet I continue on, because I hoped that one day someone would grant this poor and horny college student just one wish.
I want to see it for my own eyes so I can make my own judgement.
I want to see Tracer's controversial butt.
I want to see Widowmaker's purple butt.
I want see D.Va's mech explode leaving the exposed and vulnerable undercarriage. Just the undercarriage.
I want to see Mei. More. Often.
I want to see Zarya's muscle twitches.
I want to see Mercy's witch hat.
Last but not least, I promise that if I can somehow beat the odds, I will take up 3D Modelling and Animation seriously in order to create some of the best Zenyatta porn the world will ever see.
This probably won't be seen in the sea of comments but,
I have never felt so passionate like this in my life. This is not only the reason why I want the game, but possibly one of the few things in existence that would motivate me to do something worthwhile with my degenerate and pathetic life.
So I ask you and is my reason not good enough?
Something like this, a giftcard to battlenet or credit there may go over the same way.
So are the battle.net balance gift cards on Amazon.
Here's one review for those cards:
$20 Battle.net Store Gift Card Balance - Blizzard Entertainment
>it should be noted these CANNOT be used for a subscription. you may buy a one-month game time with it, or pets, or mounts, etc. BUT NO subscriptions (the recurring billing option) nor can it be applied to an existing subscription.
If this is true, you can't get the discount you get from purchasing multiple months at a time, right? If that's the case it's less valuable because you're paying the full $15 for a month.
I've also read that you can't split a battle.net balance with another form of payment, so if you end up with say $14 you won't be able to purchase any game time with it.
$20 battle.net card
Every eligible item will have this in the description:
> Special offers and product promotions
> Any video game purchase of $19.99 or greater on Amazon.com will qualify you to receive an Amazon promotional code that will grant you three exclusive pieces of DLC for Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood! Codes will be sent within 48 hours of purchase. Here's how (restrictions apply)
That Steam card doesn't have it, but this battlenet one does, for example. It varies by item.
I know SE store have a valentines promo but doesn't seem to apply to FFXIV.
Amazon have it slightly cheaper but seem to be limited to physical variant as far i can see.
Hi, found the PC complete edition on sale and was wondering if returning players buy and use the Complete edition to unlock the 2 expansions? Will I get the 30 day subscription time? Or is it better to just get the expansions and then pay the sub separately?
I played back around launch and am interested in seeing the 2 expansions
This is the edition I was thinking about getting. Can I use it if I already have an inactive account or is this for new accounts only?
The patch in itself will still take a bit of time most likely.
But to answer the question, as I did not purchase any discs for my PC version (the only discs I own are for PS3 & 4 versions of the game):
1: You will not need the disc in your pc at all times, it just needs to be installed using the disc. I know some companies require it (EA comes to mind) but I don't believe it should be the same here. If someone can prove me wrong on this due to firsthand experience, listen to them and not me.
2: You can buy it all on one disc. Here's a link to the version you are going to want: https://www.amazon.com/Final-Fantasy-XIV-Online-Complete-PC/dp/B071CMXD5H/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_63_t_1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=NN2K1NWRR5B92MB8Y8F0
If you're unable to get the complete edition, then there's a "starter" version available (with ARR) and then any copy of Stormblood should have Heavensward already on it. So at most, you will need 2 discs.
Looks like it's $59.99 in amazon
I mean it won't matter too much if she is gonna purchase the game anyway, might aswell do it on the account and character she first started.
I want to buy this which includes the base game and the 2 expansions. I get that it is a hard copy and I will receive a box but does it have a cd inside or just a code. I ask because my computer doesn't have a disk drive. https://www.amazon.com/Final-Fantasy-XIV-Online-Complete-PC/dp/B071CMXD5H/ref=cm_cd_al_qh_dp_t?th=1
Just buy the 3 pack for $60, get ARR, Heavensward and Stormblood.
Stormblood (the new expansion) includes both itself and Heavensward (the first expansion), the base game is separate.
There is also a complete version of the game available, which includes everything. I'm not entirely sure if you can upgrade a trial account to that - I don't really have any idea how it works.
A bundle on amazon with all you need! You may need to pick up a game time card as well from Amazon, or you can use their website and use a credit card.
I just checked the US amazon (I live in the EU) and don't worry dude, it's 60 bucks there as well.
Does anyone know if the Complete Edition (with all expansions) for PC has one cd key or two/three? I am talking about this one here:
If i buy [this] (https://www.amazon.com/Final-Fantasy-XIV-Online-Complete-PC/dp/B071CMXD5H?th=1) does it come with a 30 day subscription?
Did you pick up a realm reborn already? Not sure if its worth to mention at this point, but Square came out with complete edition with the base game and all expansions. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071CMXD5H/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_PKuvzbEHQ7RVS
There, just buy the whole thing and avoid having limited access.
Remember they come with 30 free days of sub included so there is that.
If I purchase the Stormblood Complete Collection from Amazon, is it a physical copy that requires an optical drive to install? Or is it just a pretty box with a code to download everything from online?
I see that the cheapest is the $30 one here which I'm guessing is about 27 euro
Can I get a link for that? I've only been able to find physical copies for sale
E: Nevermind, I found it for anyone else interested
Just to be sure, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B012JMS4W2/ref=oh_aui_d_detailpage_o00_?ie=UTF8&psc=1
This is eligible, right?
Thank you. I had totally forgotten that Amazon may have a digital download option available. And they do!
Edit: That said, I assume there will be some sort of for-money trading or in-game store for FFXIV? If there is, Digital River will probably exclusively own that. Urgh.
You could just get the entire Anthology on amazon for $21
Reaper of Souls is on sale for 19.99 as well.
Amazon's marketplace vendors have them starting at $31.99, if that's any help.
Link to prices as of the time of this post
Many of them will have an additional shipping charge, but you may be able to shave a few bucks off even after shipping.
I used this when I was trying to get the base game cheap. Add a watch price and it will send you an email when it hits it. It is just the Amazon site though.
Diablo II: http://www.amazon.com/Diablo-Battlechest-New-Version-Pc/dp/B0002BQN7Q
What's the problem?
That is why i said at the time most of what i listed, accept for max payne and burnout were mainly xbox releases with a windows release usually following shortly after.
And not to be a stickler, but technically not even halo 2 is an exclusive
microsoft was smart and ported most of their big sellers so they would have a way to keep making money rather than forcing an emulation project.
But, we have [Halo 2...] (http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000NV8F58?pc_redir=1396240671&robot_redir=1)
Really? Starcraft 2 is pay to win? Really?
It's not a free to play game, it's pay to play in the first place (you know the standard model?). Everyone is on the same footing and no one can pay any money to get more power. For Starcraft 2 to be like AoEO it'd they'd have to charge $20 for access to colossi and carriers. Then it'd be pay to win.
Oh and what's this? Is it a free trial? Why yes, it is.
Edit: And shock! $49.99
Same shit happened with starcraft II
People started to band together to try to offset it though.
People are upset because this game was hyped up so hard and when it launched, it was imperfect. It had a metacritic user score of like negative twenty on the first day because the midnight launch didn't go very well.
It's not just Diablo 3, it's just about every other hyped up game there ever was, ever. Except Skyrim.
It's not that those games didn't have their flaws, but seriously, "I ONLY PLAYED THIS GAME FOR 300 HOURS, IT IS TERRIBLE AND MADE BY THE WORST GAME STUDIO ON THE PLANET" is getting old.
The original list price of SC2 was $59.99. Foxtrot 56 was saying that some places will do sales for $15-20 off. I was agreeing with him on that claim. Many stores had SC2 at $39.99, a $20 discount, within weeks of the release. In fact, many people picked the game up for rather cheap a few days after release at Target.
The point he was making in his post was that if he waited a few weeks for a price drop, he could pick up the game at a highly discounted price, which is almost assuredly correct.
Also: Amazon $49.99. If you're buying a game from Best Buy or Gamestop, you should expect to be overcharged. Games from 5 years ago still sell for $35-50 at GameStop.
There is no misconception that PC games are cheaper. If you can buy Skyrim Legendary Edition for $33 for PC and $43 for 360 then it is cheaper on the PC. Games at release may generally have the same price, but in the long run the PC version is almost always noticeably cheaper.
would you kindly go this link and hoover your mouse over the bottom-left corner of the box and tell me what it say ;)
In Europe the box got PEGI-rating. In NA it got ESRB
Thanks for the pointer, but I still can't get the game!
I checked the digital edition available at amazon http://www.amazon.com/Guild-Wars-2-Pc/dp/B001TOQ8X4/ref=sr_1_2?s=software&ie=UTF8&qid=1346319785&sr=1-2&keywords=guild+wars2+digital+edition If you look at the 'Product Details' section, it says that - "Downloading: Currently, this item is available only to customers located in the United States and who have a U.S. billing address."
I don't have a US billing address! do you know any other place where I can get the game?
If I order for the PC edition it will take around a week to reach me, I already have the downloaded client (took from a friend) so I am looking to purchase the digital edition to get started ASAP.
I thought that you wouldn't, but apparently I'm wrong. http://www.amazon.com/Guild-Wars-Pre-Purchase-Online-Access/dp/B008MAYXI0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1345760507&sr=8-1 and http://www.amazon.com/Guild-Wars-2-Pc/dp/B001TOQ8X4/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1345760507&sr=8-3
Show that you will get a 3 day head start. Honestly though, I'd buy directly from the GW2 website https://buy.guildwars2.com/en/
You can get BF3 for $10 here instead of BF2 http://www.amazon.com/Electronic-Arts-40834ttlefield-32-Battlefield/dp/B005WWZUQ0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1373755499&sr=8-1&keywords=battlefield+3
Amazon Smile link for those interested.
Don't shoot the messenger, please - I don't represent codehpro, Microsoft, or anything else for that matter. The site claimed it was legal, so I wrote that.
It's up to everyone to gather knowledge and decide whether or not to pay for a physical, truly legitimate copy (merely $15 at Amazon) or visit Codehpro and pick it up within a legally grey area. Buying a physical copy doesn't mean it's going to work out of the box, either - patches and updates still require external and manual installation due to shaky support Microsoft provides for this game.
Either way, I'd love for a community to continue to support and help revive one of the best competitive and fun Halos out there.
D3 is a piece of shit game. Read the actual reviews from people who play the game and not paid game reviewers. D3 has a 3.8 by end users for metacritic and a 40% for amazon. Its boring, repetitive, and the designers could not develop engaging combat if their first born's life depends on it. Spread FUD to get people to buy that crap game won't Blizzard not to repeat that kind of crap.
uh, today Link
How about Tomb Raider
Aren't we all?
I enjoyed it. I do not think it was a good value, as do many others who have picked up the expansion. I'm not a hardcore player with multiple level 70s though -- one is enough for me.
You act like SC2 beta is ancient history. Honestly, I think most of us have played since beta. The outcry was humongous and constant, especially on the official forums and other public forums.
Check out the Amazon.com page and count the 1-star ratings: http://www.amazon.com/Starcraft-II-Wings-Liberty-Pc/dp/B000ZKA0J6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1342158138&sr=8-1&keywords=starcraft+2
However, I think D3 does actually have more outcry than other highly anticipated games, to be honest.
This game (expansion included) will never be super-cheap. Look at Diablo II:
REVIEW GUILD WARS 2 ON AMAZON NOW~
Give FF14 a try. It's one sale today: Link
Yes it is true.
See what I did there? Do you have a citation?
Also for example, another game with no release date:
>PlanetSide 2 has now officially shown up for Pre Order for 49.99 on several websites!
Where are these options to reserve a game for $5? In every MMO I've ever seen/played, a pre-order was always a full game purchase, you just had the option to cancel it before release.
you don't have $20?
how do you have a gf?
But Play PoE. it's much BETTER. and it's free.
Wildstar, FF14, Eve, WoW (retail price) base games all cost more than a one month subscription. Maybe "account activation fee" was a bad term, but basically you normally can't just pay for a normal one month sub and start playing.
